The one where he didn't take into account that L may have Light killed by his own father....okay, not really a mistake, but still. It would have spared us the torture of looking at Light Im-a-gay.

but then again, if Light had died, we wouldn't have met Near, Mello, and Matt.....idk if i could have handled that.

Trust me, I know, my gf has been reminding me for weeks now biggrin

And yeah, the Lind L. Tailor scene and when L reveals himself to Light (when he flips out in his room) are two of my favorite scenes in Death Note. I love seeing Light get all angsty.

his ultimate last mistake. Underestimating Near. What an idiot. I mean everybody knows that Light was really sloppy towards the end of it all, but come on! He didn't give near any consideration that he'd figure out about the fake death note...poor poor light. stare crying
