lol my friends asked me to in gr.5 and haven't touched this account until last year so i've had this account for quite a while but haven't actually used it LOL

A friend from Neopets suggested the site. Then I ended up quitting neopets and coming here.

I forget why I joined. But after about a year a friend in my music class asked me if I had a gaia. So I attempted a log in with my regular username and ever since I've been addicted XP

Many people don't believe this, but I used to be this HUGE Runescape nerd. I was a proud '03-er, and I wasn't going to leave the site. However, I met this 11 year old girl and she asked me, oh, do you have a Gaia?
I said, eh, what's a Gaia? So she sent me here in September of '08. I didn't like Gaia at all. It was new and I didn't understand it. So back to Runescape I went.
Then one of my older pals I was chatting to said he was gonna leave Runescape in December of '08. He asked me if I had a Gaia. I said I did and he added me. He then said, 'you're not very active, are you?'
I then dedicated all my time to getting more active on Gaia. I made friends that was closer to my age. I completely left Runescape in the dust, and I'm so glad I did. 8D

My friend kept asking and asking until one day when i went to her house we made an acount. Didn't go on much at first.

A friend of mine told me about it and I thought it was pretty cool. I loved the avatars, too, they're awesome. I love being able to personalize osmething and the profiles and the avatars and posting styles gave me just what I wanted for it. It was perfect.

I was 13 years old when I joined Gaia. It all started in a teen chatroom I asked a random person if they knew any websites that were cool, they told me about Gaia and that's when I decided to check it out.
Back then it was really confusing, it was full of glitches, so it took me a while to sign up, but once I did, I really enjoyed the site.

I joined because a friend referred it to me.
It looked interesting, and the community looked good. (Minus the trolls)

i was just watching my brother on the computer and he got on gaia and i thought it looked awesome so i tried it out and in this case u can judge a book by its cover ^.^ now im addicted 4laugh
