Well cats and dogs shouldn't really be eating your food. It can be really harmful to them. But I guess cats and dogs do have clean mouths, so it wouldn't technically be unhealthy. I would find it gross though.

That really depends on the food. Most natural people foods are fine for dogs. Apples, bananas, and carrots are all great for a dog's health. It's only specific food, as well as complex things (like you can give them a peice of your meat, so long as it's not really heavily seasoned.)

I don't have any pets now, but I used to break things off stuff for my mice. I'd do the same for other pets smile

I usually give my puppy some by hand.
But if he gets some he wasn't supposed to I wouldn't take it out of his mouth to eat it myself

Eh, I've never shared food with my dog, except cookies. XD
He has his own cupboard of food anyway, which is a lot more than mine.
He doesn't really need all that extra food from me.
