Personality -
Zeda is far from what people would call a sweet and innocent mare. Ever since she was a foal she has had to take care of herself and be independent. As a adult she much prefers to do things for herself than rely on others to take care of her. She is strong willed and will never give up on any goal she sets for herself. This however does not mean she will not do things for other people, over the years she has adopted a foal and been a teacher to anyone who has asked her help.
She is not very feminine, in many ways she acts more like a boy than a girl. She has a hot temper and is quick to defend herself and others when need be. She was once trained to be a protector and that training had made her into a force to be reckoned with. Her many scars showing how many battles she has been in. She believes very much in the tough love approach and thinks there is nothing wrong with booting someone in the behind if they are being stupid or unreasonable. After all talking things out can only take you so far.
Inside Zeda is a loving creature and holds a special place in her heart for her friends and family, she truly would do anything for them and has many of times put her life on the line for those that she cares about. She has a loyal mate and wonderful children and tries to spend as much time with them as they can. Even though she is strict and can loose patience with them from time to time they really can tell her anything. No matter what they do she knows she will always love and be there for them. After she had to grow up with out a loving family she has made sure her new one knows how important the family unit is and she tries to keep them as close and tightly bound to each other as she can. Her family will always have a home and support whenever they need it. It is just the way she is and how she thinks it should be.
Zeda has come a long way, once upon a time she was unsociable and isolated, she would not even move from the field where she was abandoned. However now she is not scared of talking to people and even finds herself enjoying the company of her herd mates. Those who knew her when she was younger would not even recognize the mare she has become. It just shows how someone who once upon a time had nothing can make a happy life for themselves. One they are proud of. She is far from perfect however she does not mind.
She is happy and loved, that's all that matters.
