@ Maru -- Hee, well, I'm not so much confused...I know there was a comment somewhere about shape-shifters not counting shifting as their ability UNLESS they wanted to use that only in battle...which I'm cool with, cause that's the whole point of hers, plus the instincts that go with hers which will give her problems and will be fun to RP. XD

So, I'm just waiting on character crits/approval at this point, unless you wanted to take a look anyway? ^_^


Shapeshifting is a NATURAL ability. A subspecies that is ALL about shapeshifting (any sort of were-creature, silkies, skinwalkers, vampires, kitsune etc) may shift in/out of their human and animal forms at any time in RP when ever they want to. If you want to IMPROVE their animal form, then it is considered your FEAR.
There are a couple of exceptions to this:

+ If your character's specie normally doesn't have two legs (centaur, merfolk, siren, harpies, etc) then they get a human form to run around in and can go to their natural form when not in the school hallways.
+ If your character's specie IS humanoid and you WANT to be able to turn into an animal (Reapers, catgirls, ogres, trolls, wolfmen, etc), then shapeshifting will be your FEAR because there's no way you could turn into one otherwise.

With all that in mind, take Red as an example: she is a normal werewolf, however she can trigger an "overdrive" which bestows horns and wings onto her werewolf form. These additions increase her strength, however she can't hold that form for long. That is her FEAR. She CAN battle in her normal non-winged/horned werewolf form (she usually does), but she gains no bonuses from doing so. Shapeshifting in all honesty is just flavor RP text.

They like to sit in dangerous areas, and lure people to their deaths by singing beautifully, beckoning them to their sides whilst resting in precarious areas. Favorite places to roost include cliff sides, and rocky shores.

xxxxxCommon Desc: They look like usual humans, but their difference is they have half part of their left body part (hand until feet) is wood. They live in and protect the forest. Their powers are wooden like or earth like powers. But some of them, may have forest magic.
xxxxxNatural Ability:
xxxxxxxxxxForest Friends: They can 'screech' to call their predator forest friends. But if they fail, what will come will only puffs of green smoke.

xxxxxxxxxxblood howl:A ear piecing howl that can stun or cause greet pain to a enemy and is all so used to call more of its kind.

- Deer Lady::
xxxxxCommon Desc: Looks like a normal, female, human being, but they are actually capable to shape-shift themselves to a deer, or half deer. They are actually peaceful monsters, but can turn really evil / bad when someone disturbs them, and then (may, but this usually doesn't happen, rarely hapened) eat the people who disturbed them alive after attacking it with their heavy and razor sharp hooves.

xxxxxxxxxxShape - shifting (into a full deer): They are capable of shape - shifting itself to another form, a deer or half deer. Deer often used as camouflage (even we wouldn't know them), and half deer rarely used, only used to attack or scare enemies.

xxxxxCommon Desc: They are called naga for males, or nagi for females. They are half human (until their hip) and half serpent (from under the hip until the tail). They are gifted shape - shifters, and they can use water magic (but not really good as warlocks). Naga are wisdom creatures, but don't get them mad. They can be really brutal when it comes to injustice. They live in a massive gem palace.

xxxxxxxxxxWhip: They can use their strong and hard tail as a whip, or, they can also use their water magic as a whip (this one is rarely done / seen).

xxxxxCommon Desc: An eight legged horse, and they used by Odin. Sleipnir is the child shape-shifting god Loki and a giant stallion, Svadilfari. Sleipnir can run in the water, on land, and fly. Sleipnir has runes carved on his teeth.

xxxxxxxxxxSwift Dash: Sleipnir is the swiftest horse on earth, so it is the only one that can to this natural ability. Sleipnir can dash everywhere, from land, until water, then rise up to the air (fly). Its eight legs, helped it to do that.

xxxxxCommon Desc:  The Karkadann, or « Lord of the desert », is similar to unicorns while being actually very different. It is a bulky creature, and its huge horn is adorned with the engraving of a man's head. It is said to be a ferocious creature that hunts about anything (including ELEPHANTS) and impales the victim's head on its horn to show it around.

xxxxxxxxxxGroundshaker: whenever a Karkadann runs, the ground shakes, no matter its weight. While it ruins all efforts at being stealthy, it frightens most small creatures, and gives everyone the urge to get out of its way.

xxxxxCommon Desc: Females with bright glowing eyes. They can have anywhere from one tail (Common) to nine tails (Rare). These girls are masters at fooling and tricking people. Be careful around them, you dont want to end up like that dead cat now do you?
xxxxxNatural Ability:Able to transform into a fox at will these girls are lethal. They've got the nails/claws and fangs to prove it.

Regeneration: Capable of rejoining limbs(given enough time); even if split in half, the Amphisbaena is capable of rejoining it's severed halves. Aim for the head(s).

Common Desc: Grues are a type of boogeyman with insatiable appetites. They live in the dark and eat anything and anyone who strays into their territory.
Natural Ability:
  • Kachomp: Grues can eat anything. No, really. Anything. They can unhinge their jaws to eat any object (or creature) the size of their heads or smaller. Fully grown adult grues are said to be able to stretch their mouths wider to consume things half their own size, though this feat requires full darkness to perform, as it necessitates removal of the protective hood and scarves.
  • Racial disadvantage: Grues are extremely light-sensitive. Their skin burns and blisters within a few minutes of direct exposure to any kind of light. To go out of the lightless caverns and basements in which they live, grues must cover themselves at all times in hooded robes to minimize exposure to light. Their eyes are also vulnerable; bursts of bright light can easily blind them for up to ten minutes.

Was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of many monsters such as Cerberus and the Hydra. The term chimera has also come to mean, an impossible or foolish fantasy, hard to believe. These creature are most often female and males of the species are rare.

xxxxxxxxxxFire-Breathing: The ability to breath fire at will. A stream of hot flames escape the Chimera's maw.
