Just some rules I want to reiterate/create to prevent godmodding.

1.
Quote:
4. Your pokemon may learn up to 7 moves, but be reasonable when learning extra moves. Don't give a freshly hatched pokemon 7 moves, and try not to have all seven moves too terribly early in your journey.

2. One ability per pokemon. Pokemon with multiple abilities don't exist in either the anime or the games.

3. Removed due to being unfair.

4. You're not going to find a high leveled pokemon this early in Hoenn. When you catch a new pokemon, its strength must be appropriate for the place you are at in your journey.

5. Pokemon can only learn moves that they learn through level up, egg moves, TM/HMs, and Move Tutors. If you absolutely feel that a pokemon should learn a certain move, ask in OOC before it learns that move.

I'm not making these rules to attack anyone, they exist solely for the purpose of preventing godmodding.

One More:

6. Your pokemon's moves should also match the part of your journey you are in. Don't give super powerful moves to your pokemon until you are very far in your journey.

Sorry, about Squirtle then. But I didn't actually plan on using it until Flannery, okay?

Oh don't be sorry at all. I was just trying to prevent godmodding. I'm sorry if I went a little overboard on some things.

(Is it okay if he has 8 cuz I can't think of one to remove? Please tell me Fly doesn't count towards the 7 moves)

Fly doesn't count as one of the 7 moves as long as it doesn't use it in battle. You can just say that your Scizor has the ability to fly.

Also, please keep in mind the second part of rule 4 as well was rules 8, 10, 11, and 12.

I'd also like to point out that Guillotine + No Guard = Unfair.

I meant Squirtle's moveset. It's filled with powerful moves.

Yeah I know. What I mean is that I'm not mad at all or anything. I'm just trying to make sure this RP is fair to everyone, including new trainers.

Fly doesn't count as one of the 7 moves as long as it doesn't use it in battle. You can just say that your Scizor has the ability to fly, which they should seeing as they have wings.

OHKO Moves (Sheer Cold, Fissure, Guillotine, and Horn Drill):
Use the random number generator to pick one number from 1 to 10. If the number picked is 1, 2, or 3, the attack hits. If not, the attack misses.

Sleep Talk:
Use the random number generator to pick one number from 1 to the amount of moves you know. Based on the list of your pokemon's moves in your profile thread, the number determines the move used.

Snorlax
-Rest
-Body Slam
-Sleep Talk
-Snore
-Stockpile
For example, if this^^ were my Snorlax, I would use the random number generator to pick a number between 1 and 5. If the number picked was 1, I'd use Rest. Likewise, if it were 4, I'd use Snore. Make sense?

Roar:
Again, when you use roar, use the random number generator to pick a number between 1 and one less than the amount of pokemon your opponent is using in the battle (because Roar can't be used to bring out the same pokemon).

So if I were in a battle where each trainer was using 4 pokemon and I used Roar, I would have the RNG pick a number between 1 and 3 and the number picked would determine the pokemon that is sent from its pokeball. Pokemon's numbers are determined by the order they are listed in the character's profile.

If they had four, wouldn't you generate between 1 & 3? Because it can't send out the same pokemon....

Shon: "How would the Sleep Talk work for multiple uses since you can only Randomly Generate one move and does Rest and Sleep Talk have to be counted in the Move List since Rest would just fail and I'd imagine Sleep Talk would be used again to choose another move. I mean I'm pretty sure that in the show if Snorlax used Sleep Talk that using Rest would be impossible cuz I doubt a sleeping PKMN is gonna try to fall asleep seeing as the PKMN is already asleep."

Just tested it in my SS version. When Sleep Talk leads to Rest, the user regains the rest of its HP again, and it is asleep for another 2 turns.

When Sleep Talk leads to another Sleep Talk, the move fails.

Shon: "I know that, but what I'm saying that IRL/the anime I highly doubt that Sleep Talk would end up becoming Rest or Sleep Talk again. I mean try to imagine the scenario happening in the anime. It wouldn't. I think those moves should be excluded from the movelist when it comes to using Sleep Talk."

Profile Skeleton:

Gaia Username: LanceCalvis
Character Name: Lance Hamaltin
Appearance: User Image

Home Town: Pallet Town

Character Bio: Lance grew up in an apartment above the convenience store. The only child of Jeff and Linda Hamilton. From the time he was just a baby. He saw young and experienced trainers in his mother and fathers shop. Sales were good due to the low prices. Though, there stock wasn't very vast. Causing mostly only new trainers on there path to come into the shop.

When he was eight, he was finally able to run the shop counter one evening. He'd read all about pokemon and books about trainers going on grand adventures. But, he'd never seen one quite like this. By fate, the day he had been allowed to run the counter. While his mother was picking up a shipment of supplies in another town. A trainer dressed in a red and black cape entered the store. He was a tall man with redish hair and a serious look on his face. He called his father. Which was in the apartment about the stop.

Lance- Father father come quickly. There is a scary looking man in the shop.

His father came down the steps. Half expecting to see some young hooligan. Instead, he saw the current champion Lance the Dragon Trainer. Standing there in front of a shelf of potions. He had his hand on his chin. As he looked at the 30 zenny price tag. Then, he grabbed a few six packs of the potions. Before walking calmly up to the counter. He saw that the kid cowering behind the counter was scared of him. So, he just smiled at him. Before setting down the money on the table.

Lance was allowed to start his journey at the age of 16. For whatever reason. The night before he was ready to start on his training. He asked his father and mother.

Lance- Mother, why would a fierce trainer like the Champion Lance need regular potions? He can't have much use for them. With his pokemon as highly trained as they are.

His father answered the question with a smile.

Jeff Hamilton- Real trainers are always ready to start from scratch. They keep there old reliable partners by there side. But, also train pokemon from a young age. Because, the earlier a pokemon finds a strong trainer to care for it. The stronger it will be when the pokemon comes of age.

His wife smiled at Jeff. Then, handed Lance a pokeball.

Linda Hamilton- Don't open this pokeball. Until you take your first steps. It will be a surprise.

Lance got up early the next day. He'd slicked his hair back. His backpack was already waiting for him from the day before. He grabbed a cape off of a chair. He wanted to train like the Champion Lance. Who just happened to have the same name as him.
