[Introducing... Dormitories!]
Kasumi shuffled about in her new room, a barren place in the bottom of the Ghost Dormitories. She paced it several times, liking the feel of the atmosphere here. It was slightly warmer here than some of the other places on campus, and it was quite pleasant. It was quiet, and there weren't many ghost students here just yet. She appreciated the serenity of it all (if you could call it that) and went about deciding what to decorate her new dorm room with. Tapping her pale chin, Kasumi paced the interior again, this being her fourth lap in the past ten minutes. The walls would need something nice, perhaps posters, and definitely less white if at all possible. It reminded her too much of the mental ward where she stayed. Did she stay there? Obviously she had to have, otherwise, where did she get he hospital gown? No matter, it was nothing but a black spot on her memory and she didn't much mind that fact. She would need nice bed linens, as a bed was provided, but it was all so white! Many plush toys and accessories, of course, to fill the desk that was provided as well.
Kasumi tapped her foot, looking beneath the bed. Perhaps it would be easier to sleep under the bed? She was... what was she now? Yes, onyro. She rather liked the idea and it seemed natural to her to crawl around on the floor or wander about with her hair devouring her face. Still, first thing's first! She had to decorate!
While wandering the grounds, she met a very nice secretary woman in blue, who had a penchant for knitting. She was kind enough to send a gnome out to assist the new student in finding the dorms and pointing out the Lost and Found bin to try and acquire some pants. She couldn't very well attend classes in a hospital gown! And speaking of classes, they didn't start until later, but Kasumi was quite excited! Even though the classrooms will be filled with vile men, Kasumi would put up with it for the sake of education. She resolved to keep her male-hating ways to acceptable levels, when within the classroom. Outside of the teacher's watchful eye? Fair game, sir. Fair game.
Turning around, a small creature appeared in the threshold of her dorm, large eye and tiny wings shaking from the rain outside. She quickly cooed over it, scooping it up in her ghostly arms. She was very happy to not have the problem most ghosts suffered from - phasing in and out and losing things they were carrying. Onryo, by and large, were fairly solid. The little creature shook the last bit of water from its leathery wings and blinked up the ghost.
"You are.... SO CUTE!" she announced, placing it softly on her bed. "You and I, we need to decorate this room! What do you think? Should I paint the walls beige? What about a light blue?" Kasumi whirled around, crouching in front of the little creature for its opinion. It tilted its head (more like its entire body) at her curiously and laid down, going to sleep. Kasumi patted it on the head and went about planning her new dorm room.
The little golem watched as its new mistress (master? ghost?) wandered about her new room, surveying the wall size and general texture, envisioning where furniture would be placed. She'd need a bed, a dresser, maybe a table or two and a lamp, perhaps a desk and a chair for studying…Thankfully, the gnomes on campus had provided her with a great many things donated by other beings around Halloween - it was a GoodWill of sorts. Many understood the unfortunate nature of being a ghost. They didn't arrive in Halloween with anything other than what they carried on their backs. That's where Kasumi currently was - lacking anything aside from the hospital gown that she wore. It was a sad state of affairs, but not totally hopeless. Kasumi wished that the gnomes hadn't brought her a hospital bed though.
It reminded her too much of what she was currently wearing and where she had come from.
Bedding aside, Kasumi knew the first order of business, or one at least marginally close to the top, would be to acquire a better wardrobe. She didn't want to be the only ghoul in school with no shoes and no pants. Or really, a real dress. She wasn't a fashionista, but anything was better than a hospital gown. Perhaps that nice girl, what was her name? Belladonna? Maybe she could provide some avenues for new clothing? Maybe she could donate to the less fortunate? Kasumi couldn't bring herself to encroach on someone else's kindness, but she wouldn't turn down an offer. Now, where could she find Belladonna now that they were off the train?
