Here goes. My nerdrant.

Well, while it's true that the Sith wanted order for the galaxy, they went about it in the wrong way. They attacked and killed all who opposed them, much like the Nazis. That's not to say, however, that their idea was "evil" or that they intended to kill from the start. They simply attracted corrupt, powerful people who led them down the wrong path. The Jedi could easily have become terrorists if they had been corrupted.

Okay. Also, the Sith suck.

I think the Jedi are more obsessed with the 'force' than the Sith are. Both are self-serving in their actions. So,I do not think they would describe themselves in terms of moral 'good' or 'evil' but simply what helps further their order. I personally prefer the Sith...because they are more genuine. But I see flaws in both orders, so I like to think that neither one is right.

The Sith promote freedom through the power of The Force, while the Jedi preach restraint, which is simply not in our nature. Therefor, the Jedi are trying to force their members to submit to their beliefs (a Jedi cannot love, a Jedi must not feel anger, etc.) that go against what we are genetically programmed to do, which to me is more evil than a side that allows you to take advantage of the power you have.
