Mastur Sage The woman seemed lost for a moment before saying, "Oh yeah, the dragon tamer. You can't miss the guy. He is usually either right outside the entryway to the shipyard, the Puppy's place, or the ... market. When he isn't at Gabe's anyways." She seemed to think a little harder. "Little man, big stick, long white hair ... He's got a fancy coat too, but its a little worn." She thought a little harder and said, "Thats about it. I'm surprised that man hasn't died yet, he gives away anything he can afford to give." She looked down the street and began to run off, "Oh poo! I need to get to work."Lad calls after her, "Thank you, dear lady!" He gives her a wistful glance. If she'd only waited, I'd have given her an escort to wherever she's going....Oh well. He shrugs, and then heads off towards the market, as it's the closest to his current location. Or at least, the closest he's sure he can find.

(( I got no adds or anything, so just a plus 0 to perception.... for a grand total of 2! )) Tael looked around the outside, and looked for a reliable person to ask. He had tried his luck in the bar, but no dice. So he searched for someone who might be able to provide him with the correct insight so he could find this Draco.

Strolling down the street, Tehila hummed a tune to herself. Something her mother had sung once, she thinks... Though she wasn't entirely sure, since it'd been so long since she saw her mother. Still, it was a nice enough day, and the seedy area she found herself in meant that her appearance didn't even cause most of them to bat an eye. Turning a corner, she bumped in to a shorter blonde woman wearing heavy armor, who seemed to be leaving in something of a hurry. "Oh, uh... sorry. Didn't expect someone to be moving out there so rapidly. What, uh... what's the hurry?" She offered her hand to the woman to help her stabilize. "Sorry if I got in your way there. I'm taking a stroll before heading off to find Count Drago. You wouldn't know where I could find him, would you?" {Tehila's got a +13 in Knowledge: Local, so I'm going to go ahead and see if she knows anything about how to find Drago without asking around. Also, Disciple - hope you don't mind me just bumping into Cley there. Might as well meet up with another PC, IMHO.}

Ziya wandered through the marketplace, keeping an eye out. He knew he was looking for a gnome of some sort, but he wasn't having much luck. Sighing to himself, he decided that it'd be best to take advantage of his natural talents...
Casting a spell, he proceeded to move throughout the area, asking all the animals he could find - birds for sale in market stalls; homeless dogs in search of scraps; a rat that scurried about in an ally. Perhaps, he hoped, they would be able to point him in the direction of a rather famous gnome or a flying machine of some sort.
{Casting Speak with Animals and then using my Wild Empathy (+5 bonus) to see if I can do any information gathering. Not sure how often you'll want me to roll for that, though... I'll do it once, but it should maybe be several rolls.}

Wrasynth Ksyamen (8, 11, on perception, 16 on knowledge local. I think that last roll is actually relevant.) Hur' Oc simply strolled down the docks looking for a flying machine. Not that he knew what one looked like, but he'd recognize a boat for sure. So he simply waited to recognize something that he didn't recognize. The logic seemed infallible to him, until he got distracted by a whench all ready drunk singing from a 2nd story bar balcony, barely clothed. Unfortunately all he could think was "Ew, it's sooo, pink? So, flamboyantly colored..." He paused unable to stop himself from the brief distraction before trying to return to his job, before stopping and looking back thinking to himself "Really!? Like pink all over? Huh? The surface is colorful..." He paused figuring if he hadn't figured it out yet, he needed to go someplace where could figure this out. So he went to a bar, if the smell of the docks was bad, the dive he walked into was worse; the people in it matched the smell as well. Thankfully the rowdy nature of the singing and aimless escapism's would most likely leave them oblivious to the gentle giant's presence. He'd signal to a startled serving wench order a simple ail and try to strike up a conversation with her. Asking simply "Some simple pint. Also? Who would I go to, to find someone? I would imagine an eccentric gnome, he owns a flying machine and needs some muscle to guard his shinnies. Nothing dirty, just simple location for a guard job. Vanilla task, yes?" In the mean time he was trying to remember any relevant information he heard about this town. ((When you leave the bar you can find the flying machine if you want. Its a zeppelin. )) The barmaiden seem confused. "Pint will be 8 copper. We only sell Terran Ale here." She looked at him a bit and added in, "The Lady is Gabe's, and Gabe most certainly isn't a gnome. I would say the Count, but Drago isn't really to eccentric save for his Dragon taming fetish. He's not here, so either the market or the docks. I'd assume he is getting ready for the flight." She waited on his payment. ((Terran Ale is a psychotropic ale from Book of Vile Darkness in 3.5))

Hur' Oc paused. He leaned over eying some Terran Ale, his sensitive nose picking up something different. It didn't have a rum or vodka smell; it didn't smell like any ale or mead he'd ever encountered either. He shook his head "No thanks, I feel less adventurous before work. How ever, here's for the information. Also I would qualify dragon taming as a bit more than horseshoes, herding, or hunting." He smiled pleasantly, or at least as pleasantly as he could without exposing his tusks. Attempting to keep his coin a secret he palmed her a gold coin in a handshake, bowed out politely and stepped out before she could say to the contrary. Keeping the name Gabe logged away for anyone who might be good at tracking people down in the city.
All the same the fresh humid salty air was almost welcome despite the dock side smell. He shrugged an postulated about as he was well aware he didn't know where to find gabe, but he had however discovered the violently brilliant balloon like object. To which he declared "... Oh ..." Palmed his face and made his way to the flying machine, unsure as to what he should expect.

Palmed his face and made his way to the flying machine, unsure as to what he should expect. Outside the docks you see many homeless men, but one stands out due to his fancier clothing, his blindfold, and most obviously a black dragon wyrmling poking out from beneath the coat and making gentle cooing noises. The homeless men around him begin to lean in and whisper to this man as you approach, the entire scene seems shady, as if they were planning to jump you. The blindfolded man reaches behind him and hoist himself up with a large stick that he had grabbed. As he rose the other homeless men rose around him and he became lost in the crowd as other men rose with sticks and the man disappeared in the crowd. While he did not initially seem to be a gnome, his coat seemed rather loose and long. One of the hobo's approaches you and says, "20 gold to talk to the look at the boss, more if you want to talk to him, and 300 if you ask him a question. What will it be?" A voice rings from the middle of the crowd and the blindfolded man walked out. He was a small man, and as he stumbled out of the group he asked, "Your name stranger? I take it your looking for something in particular."

He looked to the group of poorly armed thugs, tilting his head curiously. He was about to postulate, posture, and possibly threaten, he figured scaring the hired help off would be more effective than killing them as they clearly weren't hobos to start trying to threaten Hur' Oc.
Then he was interrupted by a small man, made even smaller by context; Hur' Oc addressed him "I'm Hur' Oc. I imagine you're the dragon taming flying machine captain? You hired me."
