For the most part Synestra's life was fairly typical as a foal. She grew up in a loving environment, with a herd to keep her safe, yet that herd lacked her mother and brother. Her father was the only parent in her life, but even so Synestra enjoyed every moment of her life. She may have only have one parent, yet that parent loved her unconditionally and would do just about anything for her. However it was during her time as a foal that Synestra started to get the itch to explore. Each day she would wander further and further away from her home, much to the dismay of her father. Many in the small herd insisted that it was simply a phase and that she would outgrow it.
That was not the case however. Adulthood simply meant that she had much more freedom in her wanderings. She would now be gone for days at a time instead of a few hours. Though she traveled plenty Synestra always returned home to her father so he would know she was safe and then she could tell him about her adventures. One thing she hoped for was that her adopted sister, an Alicorn named Mercy, would one day be allowed to go out with her. However their father worried more about Mercy and kept her close, leaving Synestra to venture out on her own. It was on one of her many adventures that she met a buffalo named Keres. The two became fast friends and now often travel together.
While out on one of her random adventures Synestra was caught by a bad storm. This forced her to seek shelter in a cave, which happened to be occupied my an Usdia stallion also hiding from the storm. The two talked and flirted while the rain poured down outside, Orrin sharing stories with her. They parted ways once the storm ended, however fate had other ideas that would bring them together once more, for in that night Synestra ended up pregnant with Orrins foals. When she told her father and sister this it was decided that she would go in search of Orrin once more, to inform him that he was to be a father, and Mercy would come along with Synestra on her first trip away from home. They managed to find Orrin and inform him that he was to be a father, and though Orrin had already found a mate he agreed to be there for when the foals were born and visit as often as he could. Two colts were the result of their one night together. Oloneric and Syrrin became the newest additions to the herd and Synestra's wandering ways were put to a haul while she raised her two very different sons. Though she loved being a mother the itch to travel never went away and when the foals were old enough she began her adventures once more.
It was during the fall months that Syenstra found herself at the Blood Moon Carnival grounds. The Carnival had been dormant for a year, though the rides still functioned. That night many other Soquili were there partaking in the fun of the Carnival. Now one could have guessed that the magi that had laid dormant all that time would come alive that night, for it was Halloween night. That night she met a young stallion named Kezia, them spend some time together, partaking in a few rides and then went their separate ways. Once again Synestra found herself pregnant. Three baskets were the result of this one night affair. Kezia took one of the baskets leaving Synestra with the remaining two. The two fillies who emerged from the basket were quite different, Poe possessed tentacles while Lapin reflected her fathers Nymph heritage. Though she wonders often about her third foal Synestra is a very loving mother to her two daughters. She knows they will be well protected and loved in her fathers herd and looks forward to seeing what they will become as they grow.
