didnt even go close to plan. had Thanatos decided to do some recon first, see the locations and positions of the soldiers, then he would ahve noticed that two of these 10 were not like the others. Not wearing the traditional armor, the smaller female, with brilliant white eyes, pointed at the location of Thanatos as he approached, while the larger male performed a set of hand seals and blew a large ball of wind chakra. the lance and the ball would impact, with the ball of wind canceling the massively powerful lightning orb before it could detonate.
Thanatos would get a grand scheme of information, as in these valiant seconds would note that each mortar took 3 people to operate. However, this meant that other 4 soldiers turned on a dime as directed by the smaller white eyed girl and opened fire. 80 kunai of 4 elements came hurtling at thanatos: velocity increased wind kunai, heavy hitting earth kunai, piercing lightning kunai, and suppressing agitating water kunai.
Meanwhile, the other soldiers fired the mortars with 4 distinct, almost defening thumps.
Shinkuu Taigyoku [ Vacuum Great Sphere ] Rank: S Official Description: Fuuton • Shinkuu Taigyoku is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. Who knows what else these guys have up their sleeves.. They caught us all by surprise, and I was not even back in the village up until recently. Thanatos from what I presumed saw where the destruction had occurred and acted off of instinct. Shadow. Be careful when we reach the gates as well, a great and powerful threat is there. A cloaked female cat like one.. '' With that, the bird flapped its wings and landed on ''Shadow's'' shoulder. Seeing the destruction taking place, as a shinobi that was most likely a enemy fire off a wind bullet towards Thanatos it spoke once more.'' These are the people, seems Thanatos is in danger.. Let's keep moving towards the village, Thanatos can handle it. '' His words transferred over via mentally, and with that the bird flew up and started to head towards the cloud's forest.
Summons out, Jutsu Used and or Learned Rin, Tin and Jin Rin, Tin and Jin are young red panda, they are small but quite useful for varieties of combat. They get tired easily and can only be on the field for five posts, but their speed and power more than makes up for their limited use. They are faster than the larger bears and can match an Anbus speed easily, they are also excellent trackers for use in any situation.

War - it was so familiar, yet the taller figure wafting in the smog of chakra increases and depth between the combatants before him merely scoffed, displaying disdain in their actions. It was a pity they used their time for senseless war rather than bettering themselves as Shinobi, but who was he to judge? War was a necessity when two factions with power didn't agree and this, he supposed, left no choice. Placing a hand on his katana, "Shadow" readied aim to assault the UHV forces, which was until the little crow continued to inform him of the situation. Thanatos could handle these Nin himself? Then he certainly wasn't needed. Taking little time, the black clad Shinobi melted into the ground, swimming forward towards his intended destination.
xxxxxx As soon as the wind impacted the lance, it exploded. See the lance wasn't on any kind of timer. So stopping it "before it detonated" wasn't really possible. It explodes on impact to anything once it is thrown. Since the impact of the wind was great the technique exploded. The explosion began wiping out everything as an explosion as it was just all the energy the was built up and the kinetic forces that came along with it with tear everything to shreds. The explosion covered the entire encampment along with the the mortars and their users. For some reason didn't go towards Thanatos area of the woods. It only expanded in the direction of the UHV. This explosion would block the kunai attacks that were launched at him. Along with probably exploding any unexploded mortar in the area. Thanatos had his hands raised seemingly pushing the destruction in a certain direction and away from him. But the true reason was unknown. He had seen some people on the perimeter of his lens. But it appeared to be a crow and an Anbu. Something was up with the anbu though, why were they here? And the direction they seemed to be coming from was odd. Didn't black use a crow to talk to him? He had gotten the info clearly it seemed someone was at the front gates.
[Got this idea from when the Kyuubi's Bijuuball exploded after being defeated by a stronger tech]
When the orb and the lance met, the wind chakra would start to tear at and nullify the lightning lance. Unknown to the ninja at the time, the lance would then detonate, but a serious of events and circumstances would save the positioning...mostly.
An explosion is not an instantaneous blast, and is instead a force directed from a single epicenter. Due to the spheres ability to push through multiple buildings before dispersing, as well as having an elemental affinity over the raiton detonation, the sphere grinned and pushed into the explosion, not just pushing it back but also negating the raiton detonations vector and creating a rather large safe zone that an explosion would usually occupy. This technique was particularly effective simply because lightning cant pass through a vacuum.
The remainder of the explosion would pass around the camp, avoiding the mortars and the soliders, but catching something that was very deer to them: a pile of scrolls. The scrolls would be ignited in flame and destroyed by the powerful raiton explosion. The kunai attacks too, all except for the wind kunai, would be pushed away and destroyed. the 20 wind kunai were still on point for thanatos to have to handle.
at this point, the soldiers and the two "non soldiers" where in action. the soldiers spread to find what vcover they could, forming a form of "zig zag" arc arming at thanatos (think like a semi circle with the points offset like a zipper) and fire their weapons. they each shot another burst of 10 kunai a piece, making another collaboration attack of wind, water, lightnigng, and earth kunai. From here, they popped out scrolls, and put new ones in their launchers.
The the large non soldier male would form a single hand seal and seek to envelope thanatos in a cutting whirlwind of...well...wind that would aim to not only damage the hatake but also keep him immobile for he comming attacks. the smaller female non soldier seemed to be concentrating hard, but for what, it was unknown....

xxxxxx Thanatos had scanned the area with his lens. He saw the two non soldiers as his technique was deflected. Removing the chakra lens he could see her white brilliant eyes. She would be a problem it would be difficult to do anything with her around. As his explosion ravaged some parts while leaving other unscathed, he noticed the torn bits and pieces of paper floating in the air from the scroll he destroyed. Then some wind kunai had made it through his technique and still came at him. The trajectory made it easy for him to dodge, he dropped off the branch he was on and fell to the ground. With a huge explosion branches and wood began raining down on him. The mortars had already fired and they would land on Kumo, which pissed him off even more. He noticed the ground ahead of him loading scrolls that appeared to be like the ones he destroyed. They then fired a large amount of elemental kunai at him. He vanished only to appear before the white eyed female, surely she would still have her byakugan active and seeing the chakra. And without any handseals adding an element of speed and surprise his blade would glow with white chakra. He slashed at her unleashing a blinding and extremely fast raiton blast. Of course, he hoped the technique would blind her long enough to end her. If she was finished off, then he would quickly form handseals to expel water from his gullet. The area would soon began to flood as he produced more water than the ground could absorb. Now what would this help him with? Well any more scrolls or mortars would be washed away, the scrolls? most likely completely ruined and unsuable. And for the mortars seemed very heavy for normal soldiers. So washing them away would make it so they couldn't reload as fast. Also the waves would loosen their footy, along with their armor and heavy equipment. They would most likely find it a bit more difficult moving around so quickly in loose mud.

Chidori Sai (One Thousand Birds Cut) •Rank - B-A rank due to Hatake Bloodline • This attack is a mixture of Hatake Clan’s specialties. The user is able to channel their ration through their weapon of choice. Through repeated slashes (maximum of 4 shots) they become able to unleash raiton blasts that appear to be white in color. These slashes cleave metal like a hot knife through butter. These slashes are extremely fast and blinding to those who are not the Hatake or Lightning User in question, thus making this technique special. This jutsu does not require handseals.
Baku Suishouha [ Bursting Water Collision Waves ] Rank: B -expels a large amount of water from gullet-
The engagement it seemed had now begun, and he shunshined behind the little girl, she would use her amazing skill and speed to use a technique that nearly eclipsed the tech that Thanatos had used. Flanking just off to the right within 20 feet, out of the way of the white waves of chakra, the girl housed her own energy in her palm. In a powerful thrust, the chakra wave would move to strike thanatos with a power that could shatter stone.
With the speed of the jutsu used, the large male ninja formed a single hand seal, but delayed the activation by a slight moment, only to see what thanatos would do to handle the girl and her attack. Once this had been observed, either defend, move, or struck, the ninja would unleash a powerful wind blade designed to slice and dice him out of existence.
Meanwhile, the defending soldiers added more chakra to their weapons, hearing a distinct humming sound while one commed into his radio.
"Command, bombardment position has been compromised, ammo stocks have been reduced to half. bombardment will be lessened to create maximal damage as best we can. I suggest sending in the Angels as soon as possible. "
Once the water would even get up to touch one of the mortar operating soldiers, his armor would glow with a green blue aura, and then it and the water would slowly fade from existance. it seemed the mortars and the ammo, what was left of it, was still intact. Each soldier team of 3 loaded a scroll in, and then 2 deafening thumps would be felt and heard.
Little Girl Hyuuga Shukichi Complex :: C The user flows chakra into their feet, which will allow for faster more ballistic movements. The speed of this technique almost eclipses the shunshin no jutsu, but its distance is nowhere near as far. It can only be used to move within 50m, and due to the speed the user will be unable to strike the opponent while moving in this technique. With that said, however, it is a fantastic dodging and flanking technique. • Can only be used 3 times a battle
Hakke Hasangeki [ Eight Trigrams: Mountain Crusher ] Rank A A powerful variation of [ Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm ]. This technique sends a mid-range wave of chakra directly towards an opponent, emitting from the palm. The impact is more than enough to shatter stone, so one can only imagine the damage it deals to the human body. • Max range: 15 yards

xxxxxx Thanatos noticed that his attacked failed and the girl move away from him with a flick of his eye movement his chakra lens went over, he saw he powering up chakra in her arm and unleash it. He reacted with a extremely fast slash of raiton, the two waves clashed and canceled each other out being in the same rank and such. He could then hear the winds moving towards him as the large man attack with a wind sword. Though his wind was elementally better than his raiton. His raiton was still stronger. Making another slash of raiton chakra which would easily cut through and defeat the wind attack and then move through it towards the large man. Thanatos then focused his eyes on the man who made his water vanish. With the last of his techniques power he sent a slash of raiton wave chakra at him. After it hit or miss Thanatos would then clap his hand once, sounding out a thunderous noise, at the speed of sound the sound went out to everyone. Whomever heard it would freeze for a moment. Their brain would get mixed up and began to send out bursts of brain signals all at once. Neurons in the brain would fire as much as 500 times a second more than normal. This would effectively give everyone in the vicinity seizures. So basically the effect was that the brain would give signals out in such a quick fashion seizures would happen. And in case he missed anyone. Thanatos paused for a few second to give short pause between his attack so they wouldn't hit at the same time. He then clapped again sending out another very loud wave in case anyone didn't hear it(As allowed by the technique to clap twice if I chose too))

For example: mixed signals from the brain to body parts, extreme sickness, loss of balance, etc. Only one effect will occur but the user can state which. Lasts 7 turns. The slash and the ball of chakra would, as predicted negate eachother in a brilliant display of energy and color, as they both fizzled out of existence. As the white blade of chakra cut through the blade, the large wind man was able to avoid the technique by doing the near unthinkable....the mother ******** was flying!!!! While the sight of the jutsu was enough to get him to avert his eyes for a moment, he knew he had to press the attack.
The soldier never stood a chance as the white hot blade went striking for him. He tried to dodge by rolling out of the way, but only got himself cut in half at the waste. His armor would simply fade from existence as his heart stopped beating, blood gushing into the ground below.
As thanatos clapped his hand, the large, now flying, wind man would aim his palm in an epic thrust for him, seeing if he coudlnt catch him with his "hands down." The sound from the blades of wind, and the path they cut, would create a mild safe zone for him against the unsuspecting thunderous clap, but everyone else would have to find for themselves.
8 of the remaining 9 soldiers would glow with a green blue energy. The soldiers looked surprised as the mortars didnt want to fire, but realized they had little time to handle this mess. They all grabbed their weapons and joined the assault. the 4 that had previously fired at Thanatos fired again with their rapid weapon launchers. The spread was large then the lass time to cut back on maneuverability of thanatos, as they knew it was not them that was actually going to kill the ninja...this time.
One mortar team of 3 stayed in position, using the not firing mortar as a basis of cover as their weapons gave off an unusual hum.
The female hyuuga was not so lucky. the wave hit her hard and dropped her, with the inability for her to control her body. the other two soldiers seemed to believe in chivalry and would run out, attempting to drag the women back to cover behind their mortar.

Ōnoki is able to transfer this technique to others through physical contact with them for an unspecified amount of time. Using his Wind nature, Sora will create blades of wind which he can launch towards his opponent. xxxxxx Thanatos planned worked, he was able to avoid the the dual attacks by using his blade to cancel them out, he attention had been turned to the man who had defeated his water technique with ease. As the man was sliced in half by his technique he was slightly confused. Instead of defeating his technique like he did last time with that strange glow. He attempted to dodge, but he must have known that doing that was futile as he barely went anywhere as his attack sliced through his body. It seemed everyone else except for the hyuuga escaped his attack with the same strange glow. He was the only one to glow with his last attack and he stopped his water technique, then this time around he didn't do it but the others could because they didn't use it to cancel his last technique. So was it maybe not that he chose not to do it. But he was unable to do it? A weakness, he knew that everything had its weakness. He was distracted by an attack to his side. With his hands still together from the clap, they formed into a handseal with an explosion the wind technique crashed into the ground where he stood seemingly tearing his to shreds. But his mangled body would transform into blocks of wood. The flying ninja would be alarmed and probably search for the white haired shinobi using his advantage in height. Where would he attack from? from the sides? from behind? like he did the the hyuuga? or from above!?!? Thanatos would put his hands together one more time and a thunderous clap would spread through the area. So where exactly was he? The one place that was in his blind spot, directly below him. Though his armor was different, it would still hinder his line of sight downward. This along with being a few feet behind his actual position. Would leave him out of his line of view downwards as well.Those carrying the female hyuuga would find themselves most likely helpless to the assault. And the others with the mortars didn't fair that well either since their eyes would probably be focused on the explosion that the wind user caused and the remains of his block of wood. Thanatos would have clapped the instant after the substitution revealed itself. He hoped this worked, he really hoped he simply wasn't just burning chakra here. But he had to find out what was up with this aura. The same effect as last time would occur, seizures all around for everyone who could hear it.

One of the soldiers that dragged off the Hyuuga girl would touch her, and they would both glow in a blue green aura even as he fell from the second Ikadzuchi. It was slow at first, but she began to blink, twitch her muscles, and then try to rise back to her feet. Seemed she was back in the battle. As each of the others dropped and twitched, she would quickly gather them, self-activate one big dispersal, and they would be back in the game.
The large flying man was aware of the limitations of his own technique, and would ahve the eyes of 9 perfectly aware soldiers who knew how to do a spread search/secure. His opponent would be below him as he went up, as fighting a wind user in the air would not be advisable, and their opponent was considerably intelligent compared to a rookie who would make that mistake. He would expell a burst of wind that would negate any future sound in the area, as he had the numbers advantage he had to play to. As such, when Thanatos would try to clap his hands in the future, there would be no sound much less a thunderous one. Forming a few hand seals, a great transparent eastern dragon would appear flying around with him.
Down below, the squad of 3 with the humming weapons would unleash a terrible burst of kunai from their seated position. These kunai will be released at 3x speed with almost 100% accuracy. Combined, the three of them launched 90 kunai, and the barrage would be able to defeat techniques of S rank and lower. Due to the silence in the area, this barrage would be silent, and possibly unknown to Thanatos. The kunai could travel so fast that it was possible that the time needed for shunshin would be too slow.....
Seeing as he had disappeared once before the 4 soldiers who had fired at him previously waited to see if this would happen again, and then use enhanced perception methods to obtain his new location then fire at him with a collaborative B rank of kunai. If he had decided to stay put and defend the attack, then they would unleash this attack at his previous location.
Note: Hyuuga girl back on cooldown for next post, the rest of the team can reactivate on next post. AandOE edit: I advise getting back-up from somewhere, Haji, or simply taking out any remaining mortars and then high-tailing it away.

Guild Description: The dragon looks like a large serpent, a traditional Chinese dragon that is twenty feet long. The dragon has a red mane and the rest of his body borders light blue. The color is not distinct because the wind manipulates it from its color to transparency. The dragon can shoot Kaze Bakuhatsu from its mouth. Disperses after launching three Kaze Bakuhatsu.
soldier gang of three: Barrage defeats technqiues of S rank and lower Superior Fire Power Rank :: A The user, burns some of their energy and flows it into their weapon, super charging it for a post. On the next post, burning even more energy, the user releases all the ammunition left in their weapon at greatly increased speed capable pf piercing medium armor, forming an accurate, deadly, and overwhelming frontal assault. • Costs 20 energy the first post to super charge, being the only activation that one can do in that post. One the second post burning 20 energy, the shot counts as 2 activations, burning all the ammunition in the weapon. the assault is equal to Dance Performance: Second Step, meaning the kunai speed is tripled and the accuracy is 100%. Can be used in conjunction with multi-center (max of 3 targets) [I do not have my notes with me, as i am at my gfs place. i can add the elements to it later, but i was going to respond so you know i didnt miss you]

If I got this correctly, the Hyuuga girl is on cooldown for the next post, while the rest can use their armor next post. The silence is deafening, and Thanatos has disappeared into the surrounding vegetation, for defense, since I couldn't think of anything better. (Sorry Haji, you can rewrite this post if you'd like, I was just tryin' to help)

xxxxxx Thanatos would raise his hands after his clap and would attempt to negate the blast of wind. However, since the chakra didn't have a solid form, the gloves were only minimally effective, and didn't stop the silence. The Hyuuga girl certainly worked quick after being revived, as Thanatos saw her fast movement to gather and disperse their seizures. As the first ones up simply fired off their weapons and jutsu from previously being seizured, Thanatos had plenty of time to disappear into the surrounding vegetation, and as such, they would soak up the attacks as he weaved in and out of trees, bushes, boulders, etc. The silence was not to his advantage.
After finding a spot the provided perfect coverage his blade glowed with chakra, he then leaped out and sent 4 slashes out at the the mortars he believed he saw only two. So he sent 2 towards each. They were positioned so that they second one wouldn't be visible so if one of them tried to block it they would be killed by the second slash which should come after they negate and kill them and destroy the mortars. He then created 1000 water needles and lined them up 500 in front and then 500 behind and launched them. This way the first wave would hit and then the second wave would hit after. Hopefully because this technique isn't connected to each other only the senbon that touch the armor will be affected and then the other senbon will make it through. But nothing Thanatos has done against these guys has worked anyways, so why would it change now. He switched his focus to the mortars He made sure some senbon headed to the hyuuga to keep her in her place and away from the mortars and at the flying male to distract him from mortars. And with the finale Thanatos would shushin directly above the flying shinboi after the water senbon hit with him slashing down with his blade to finish him off.
Chidori Sai (One Thousand Birds Cut) •Rank - B-A rank due to Hatake Bloodline • This attack is a mixture of Hatake Clan’s specialties. The user is able to channel their ration through their weapon of choice. Through repeated slashes (maximum of 4 shots) they become able to unleash raiton blasts that appear to be white in color. These slashes cleave metal like a hot knife through butter. These slashes are extremely fast and blinding to those who are not the Hatake or Lightning User in question, thus making this technique special. This jutsu does not require handseals.

The surrounding vegitation was seriously ******** to high hell, with fires getting started, trees falling down, and the once medium sized clearing now had a rather open spot where vegetation and terrain once stood. it seemed that these weapons packed serious power when the wanted to. The waves of chakra would strike the mortars, rendering them virtually useless to the UHV now. Someone would have to do some serious repairs to get them back up and running.
The waves of senbon would strike the first group of soldiers, the inital group of 4 that engaged thanatos, and as expected the blue green aura appeared. However, the second wave of 500 senbon would be seemingly drawn to the 4 glowing soldiers, so much that the senbon seemed to bend around to intentionally miss any other soldiers, and fade into the aura, which would then fade from existence.
With the explosions and the needles hitting, the other soldiers had no bead on the target. Luckily, the Hyuuga girl was now free to be able to observe, and once the shunshin occured, alerted the flying man. with a palm of chakra, once the flying man was out of the way, she aimed to strike the now falling Thanatos as squarely as she could.
The flying man, once alerted, wouldn't waste even a second and would use a burst of chakra to gain a massive speed bonus, moving about 10 meters forward in less then a second. turning around and thrusting a palm, blades of wind chakra would fly forth and aim to cutt, dismember, and maim the attacking kumo ninja.
The dragon would continue circling about over head, just waiting for thanatos to drop to the ground....

Kyoushu no Tokkan [ Assassin’s Rush ] Rank: B Official Description: Expelling a great deal of Chakra, the user forces a vast amount of wind out of the hands. This blast of wind has two effects: firstly, anything behind the user will likely be knocked over by the blast; secondly, it propels the user extremely quickly in their desired direction. The user may make continual adjustments to their trajectory during this dash. The dash lasts for barely a second, but in that time the user can cover around one half-mile. Using his Wind nature, Sora will create blades of wind which he can launch towards his opponent.
