She sat on the steps of the main entrance to the mansion. Not feeling the need to impress anyone she wore a worn gray sweater over a white spaghetti strap tank top. She tapped her sneakered foot to the beat of the music that was playing on her Ipod. Every once and a while she would turn it to the lock screen to see the time before locking it again and throwing it in her pocket. The new maid wasn't suppose to arrive for another fifteen minutes but because she had nothing better to do she had been sitting there for the past hour enjoying the warmth of the sun and the occasional breeze. She laid down across the length of step staring up at the sky like she always did when she was outside. She had never met her mother but her father said that she too would often be caught looking at the sky. That people with great destinies had their hearts trapped in it and were always searching trying to get them back. She closed her eyes and let her music lull her to sleep.

An old fashioned car was driving down a long street carrying precious cargo. The newest addition to Mistress Lauras' staff of maid. Looking up with a deep sapphire sea like eyes, a young woman with pale rose lips looked out the window. Sighing gently, she sat up straight her hands resting in her lap as she wondered how her new life would be. A small smile tugged up her lips as she looked forward watching the manor becoming closer. Closing her eyes she then opened them slowly looking out of her window slightly. She had been excited from taking this job and looked forward to it. Feeling the car halt gently in front of the large manor, she then looked forward closing her eyes. The butler whom had been driving her got out opening her door for her. A pale hand offered to him, before being helped out of the car. Already in uniform her blue hair fell over behind her shoulders as she looked up smiling."Thankyou, very much.."Spoke out a voice too soft yet beautiful and almost alluring.

She opened her deep blue eyes, glistening purple in the sunlight, to view the sky once more before stretching out and siting up. She flicked on her Ipod and checked the time before she watched the seen of the delicate young girl being helped out of old fashioned car by one of her butlers. Her hand ran though her black hair, bushing it from her unmarked face, before returning to her sweater pocket. She stood up and dusted of her tight fitting blue jeans while still observing the girl. The girl was doing good so far. She was already in her maid outfit and had arrived punctually as promised. "If she keeps this up, I may have a fine maid on my hands," she smirked to herself. She took her time in making down the stairs, slowly dragging her feet, her Ipod still humming in her ear. Standing in front of the girl she stuck out a tanned hand. "Welcome to my Mansion. I do hope we can get along."

Interested yet curious eyes found what she was looking for. Her new mistress which she smiled sweetly to. Moving forward she shook her hand gently looking up into her eyes."It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mistress Laura.. I am here to come to your every call.. Please do not hestitate to beckon me.."Spoke out her gentle voice sweetly yet full of confendence. Releasing her hand she then peered back noticing the butler grabbing her bags. She smiled curtsying to him as a thanks for his hard work. She would have to repay him for his kindness since they left last night to make it here.

She saw the butler grabbing the maids bag so she walked over and put her hand on his. "It all right alex, I got it. You have a long drive back to my fathers mansion and I don't want to waste you time on something simple like this." He opened his mouth to argue but quickly closed it when he saw the look the mistress was giving him. "Thank you Miss laura," he stuttered. Bowing quickly her got in the vehicle with Laura watching him drive of. She reached out and grabbed the bags tucking some of them under her arms. Walking with ease she glided to Madoka side. "I'll be escorting you to your room Asuka" she informed her maid. Walking forward she called over her shoulder "You might want to stay close to me if you don't want to get lost." A butler waited for her at the top of the steps holding the door open for them.

Remaining quiet her sapphire colored eyes watched the events unfold. Moving forward once beckoned to stay close to her. She then moved to her side walking elegantly her maid dress falling about her thin petite body perfectly."Yes, Mistress Laura.."Rang out her voice gently looking forward a smile curled upon her lips. She wasn't even here a full day and already felt comfortable around this place. She'd figure out her way around this manor easily. Since she had a very good memory and a good sense of direction.

They wandered into the vast front foyer that was decorated with the finest silk tapestries, paintings and stone statues. They venturing up the massive marble staircase her sneakers gripping the floor. "Your bed room will be on the second floor with along with mine and the other girls," she explained as she walked. "It's your first day here so I'm giving you the day off so you can begin to get your footing around here." she stopped in front of a dark wooden door with a silver number 7 mounted to the door. "I believe this is the room you requested." Laura stepped out of the way to allowed Madoka the privilege of entering before her to before her.

Opening the door, she walked in seeing a simple bedroom. Which is what she had requested it to be decorated. Smiling at her new quarters she moved in more holding open the door for her. Averting her eyes to the ground she smiled."Mistress Laura, thankyou.."Chimmed her voice gently before she looked up to her. Peering into her eyes she then looked away moving to the large window near her bed. Opening the drapes quickly allowing the sunlight to shine in. Sighing gently she nodded before turning around. She never had a real day off in a long time. So for her it'd most likely be an exploring day. Or rather a day to spend in the garden or perhaps even in the library.

Laura waited a few moments before she followed in after her maid. "The room is as you requested," she said almost questionably. "If you want something more extravagant it wouldn't take long to decorate. I want you to be comfortable during your stay here, so If there's anything that make your stay more pleasurable, inform me of it." She readjusted the bags in her arm and watched the girl still being bathed with sunlight. Her smile complimenting her look, her blue hair glistening.

Peering over to her, she smiled sweetly moving over to her taking a few bags from her arms. Placing them upon the hope chest at the bottom of her bed. Taking the last of them and placing them upon the ground. She smiled up to her mistress shaking her head gently."No, this is quite fine, Mistress.. I love the more simpler look.. It makes me feel more at home.."Murmured her voice gently before she realized she spoke out of terms. She then averted her glance to the ground her pale cheeks staining with color."Excuse me, I spoke out of terms.. Forgive me, Mistress Laura.."Spoke out her voice quietly as she looked to the ground. She had been taught better than this, but it was so natural that she just spoke out.

"You may be my maid, but that does not put you on any lower grounds than me," Laura said walking up to the girl and using a single delicate finger to lift the girls chin. She explored her face before meeting her eyes. "You have not given me a reason to treat you as a lesser being so I won't. Therefore, there is never an out of term." Her other hand came up and brushed some stray strands of hair form the girls face. "So please speak freely around me." She dropped her hands and flipped her own silky hair over her shoulder before turning away. "I'll leave you to unpack your room. If you need me I'll be in the garden." She walked to the door before grabbing onto it and looking over her shoulder back at the quiet maid, a small smile on her face. "And please, just call me Laura." She quickly turned into the hallway her long hair flowing behind her, and made her way to the garden.

Color stained her cheeks even more as she listened to her. Even more when she lifted her face like that. Watching her walk off she smiled nodding gently."Yes, Laura.."Murmured her voice gently watching her exit the room. Moving over to her bags she opened them placing her clothes into closet quickly upacking. Slipping off her uniform from seeing no reason to be wearing it today. She hung it up straightening out the wrinkles. Placing on a more elegant dress she hooked the buttons behind quickly before slipping into some ballet flats. The dress was a pale cerulean blue and complimented her eyes and hair. Unbraiding her hair she placed the ribbons upon her nightstand before brushing her wavey curly hair. Walking out she soon found herself out in the garden admiring the flowers.

Laura twirled a small dark blue flower between her fingers as she sat on the edge of the giant circular fountain, looking up at the sky. She had never been some one who worried about things but she found her mind drifting to the thought of the new maid she had met that morning, hoping that she was finding everything Ok. A breeze blew though the garden, causing the flowers to sway and her hair to flow out behind her. She sighed, tossing the flower from her hand into the water. It swirled around in the current having no choice in what direction it when. Looking at it made her think of herself. She leaned down occasionally taping it gently with her fingers as to not submerge it.

Examing a rose bush a smile curled upon her lips. A fragile hand moved forward caressing a rose. Looking down to the rose she smiled sweetly."Life is that ever lasting flower..The flower that is always in constant bloom.. People are that dying powder.. That cause the flower to slowly consume.. People cause the flower to die.. Just as fast as those bees fly.."Spoke out her voice quietly reciting a poem she loved. Moving a gentle thumb over a petal she pulled her hand away. Walking to another bush she looked down examining natures true beauty."People don’t care about the flower.. They just care about the nectar it brings.. They care about the flowers sweet things.. Only a few care to keep the flower in bloom.. Only a few are worried when the flower is doomed.. The flower is life that ever lasting thing.. Life is something that is truly a blessing.. Once you pour that powder on our flower.. Life will descend and we will follow in a whirlpool of sorrow.. Because life is that ever lasting flower.. So treat our flower correct, and we may just see tomorrow."Finished her voice quietly plucking a white rose as she smiled lifting it. Taking in its sweet scent she sighed pulling it away looking down at it.
