I have 4 nick names. My name is Sarah Jean Schaper (Schaper is pronounced like "shopper") and I am called:

As a child, I was Munchkin. And the usual terms from parents, like sweetheart. Oh, and myrealname-bear, as my mom read the Bearstein Bears to me as a kid an replaced "brother bear" and "sister bear" with my brother's name and mine.

I went through a thankfully short phase of jr high where I wanted to be called Rikki cuz I didn't have a nickname for my name, but it didn't seem to be "me". Nicknames stick better when given by someone else.

Nickname-less until given an Indian name from my now FIL, which is Rekha.


Online, I shorten Eleryth to Ryth, but that's it.

i dont really have any nicknames to be honest... but i guess that's cause i have a weird un-nickable first name.

in my childhood,
my grandma used to call me "wiggle worm in hot ashes"
my mom jokingly used to call me "monkey" and "little s**t" (i promise she was only joking, she did it when i beat her at chess).

my boyfriends mom sometimes calls me "D" or "Big D" because my first name starts with a d...

but other than that, i've never actually had nicknames..

i was given an official indian name "Ghost Child" by an indian chief my parents know, does that count?
