Living a simple life, Asami really has no reason to act cruelly or treat others with disrespect. Originally from Kirigakure, Asami's parents were both sent to Yukigakure on official business and decided to take their baby girl with them. The family spent many years inYuki, allowing Asami to grow up there, learn in the academy and train her water based techniques on the training field. Asami was smart, but she wasn't so intelligent as to surpass anyone in the class. She had a keen talent for genjutsu, which was surprising to her parents and teachers.
When Asami was eleven, her parents were called back to Kirigakure, leaving the small family in a fight. Asami refused to return to her home village and sent her parents home, heart broken. That was the first time Asami ever did something relatively 'mean' and she refuses to do it again. She has no connection with her parents now, scared they would treat her cruelly like she had done to them when she left. Therefore, Asami has no idea if her parents are dead or alive.
Nowadays, as a seventeen year old, Asami lives by herself and it isn't uncommon to find her at the academy training or anywhere else she has space to fool around. |

Ikkaku was born to a traveling shamisen player and a shogi player in the land of snow. As he grew up, his mother would play her shamisen for both Ikkaku and his father; his father would try to teach him shogi as well, but Ikkaku took little interest during his younger age. Feeling a void from the silence, Ikkaku decided to learn to play his mother's shamisen by humming the tune she'd play to him and his father and learning by ear. His shogi skills increased exponentially from that time, and by the time his father passed away, he was able to defeat him with little effort. He graduated from the academy soon after, and his adventure began.

• Lynx has a build of impressive fortitude, though his appearance says otherwise. He is capable of being served blow after blow of catastrophic physical damage, recovering with more ease than most.
• Lynx also has very keen senses, particularly his sense of smell. This attributes to his animalistic features.

Lynx remembers none of his earliest childhood years. His most faded memores don't include parental figures. His origin is a mystery.
Lynx spent nearly the entirety of his early life in the wilderness, braving the cold of Snow Country and developing the endurances that kept him strong and reserved. It wasn't until he had reached early teenage development that he developed the spite that he carries with him now.
Among people, he accepted a certain exile that accompanied his aloof attitude. Lynx never enjoyed speaking with those around him, sharing coffee and starting smalltalk were not within his arsenal of "Fond memories". In fact, whimsies of this were all but consumed upon his first taste of human flesh.
Lynx was attacked at the age of fifteen. Shinobi scouring the lands saw him and felt it an obvious case of a Missing Nin. Unlike missing shinobi, Lynx had a hamlet of a home outside of Snow Country. He lived alone, and spent much of his time in the wild. Due to this, he appeared to be the type of individual who had spent his whole life there.
With the assistance of some outside factors, Lynx made quick work of both of the trained men, leaving blood strewn across the Snow. Fleshy bits aside, the boy was unsure what provoked his desire for the taste, but it was then that he became addicted to it. The clothing, the kunai, the flesh, none of it was wasted.
After this encounter, he was swiftly arrested for his ferocity. He had taken a life, and left another Shinobi deeply injured. For the past three months until his training with Doctor Cain, he spent his time behind bars in a cell block of a cold prison.
