The Ouroboros Alchemist Silver Sage-General Can't say I've ever done that. o.o; I tend to be uber alert when I'm paranoid. To go with the topic, the Unborn is about Jewish apparitions lol. I'm usually alert too, but that night I was FREAKING (I was alone and earlier thought I saw the a black shadow person staring at me from my kitchen)... And I like ANYTHING with ghost, spirits, etc. They usually freak me out the most. LOVE it! blaugh

The Ouroboros Alchemist Silver Sage-General Lol when I'm laying on the couch I just expect something to jump over the back. o.o Awesome. This movie has the thing possess people and make them all feral and stuff. (Makes an old man do the spine walk.) I just remember calling everyone I could almost in tears I was so scared, lol. sweatdrop Ooooo... possession... lol I'm so weird for liking all this stuff. xd

I don't care for the bulk of horror films released today. Well, mainly the American ones, blech.
As for my personal list...
Shivers or They Came From Within
Videodrome
Scanners
The Brood
The Fly (Cronenberg's remake. All 5 of these are his films)
Slither (paid a homage to several horror movies, as well as the infamous bathtub scene from Shivers)
Cannibal Holocaust
Nekromantik
The Stepford Wives (the original one, it follows the book better and is damn creepy)
The Blob (80's version)
Salo, or 120 Days of Sodom
Suspiria (DO NOT watch the Netflix version. It's edited and leaves out a lot)
Trick 'r Treat
The Thing
The Hunger
Cat People
Ginger Snaps
Ginger Snaps: Unleashed
A Clockwork Orange

A few of these aren't horror...I think some of them are thrillers, but the rest are legit horror movies. There are a few I haven't even watched yet, but I think you can find most, if not all, of these on Ice Films. I found the uncut version of Cannibal Holocaust on Google's video site a few years ago, but I doubt it's still there. IF has it, though, as well as Nekromantik...I'm holding off on Salo until I can read the book. It's very ******** up, really.

The Ouroboros Alchemist Paramore_Freak22 Watch high tension it is simply amazing Now there's one I've honestly never heard of. What's it about? (And gotta say, LOVE the signature!! heart )
Another of my favorites I'd forgotten. Haute Tension is also a foreign film...dubbed for America, like Suspiria. Starts off very similar to Dean Koontz's "Intensity," then goes in another direction that I preferred. I believe the main character is in love with her friend, who takes her to visit her friend. Crazed killer slaughters the family except for MC, kidnaps her friend, so she chases the guy down. There's a lovely twist at the end. |
