[1vs1] Sisterly Love (Needle & Lattice) [FIN]

Lattice took a few deep breathes to prepare herself and soon she was ready with a small nod. She was trying to take this more seriously now. Not that she wasn't taking it seriously in the first place but somewhere along the line she had lost the focus and meaning to the spar but soon Needle struck out at her and successfully hit her core causing Lattice to utter a small gasp a bit as the needle bit through fabric and into skin piercing her effectively.

She tried to strike back out using her forearm but her body wasn't prepared for the swipe so soon after the injury and her swing ended up being shortened and she missed as she doubled over for a second.

No apologizing. That was one of their rules. The bite of fabric and flesh under her arm was...pleasant. Shockingly pleasant. Something clicked slowly in her head, gears turning weakly as some deeply buried instinct started to wake up. The attempted strike was spotted and the ghoul leaned back even though the attack was never followed through.

The blue clad engraver took a step forward, dropping her arm down before raising it in an arc against Lattice.

Another strike hit her true as her Twin didn't waste time to hit her. The time for praise and congratulations was over it was now time to strike back and try to survive on her own merits as she moved to ash out a spiked arm toward her Twin's side with a small grunt ignoring the pain this time.

She felt her arm hit but not with the force she had wanted it to.

Needle's lips turned in to a grin as her sister's spikes hit her side, ripping some of the fabric ends but definitely biting in to the more open skin there. It hurt; the feeling of needles cutting into your flesh wasn't supposed to feel nice, but it was...almost exciting?

All she did was smack the offending arm away, hitting skin on skin with a sharp slap.

Slapping her hand away caused a small hiss to exit her lips and soon she was backing away a bit. Soon needles were summoned to her hand and she flung them at her Sister without hesitation. There was no holding back, they agreed. That meant that the usage of FEAR was open to them. After all they needed to take this far more seriously.

The needles landed their mark, and the Engraver grimaced, uttering no more than a low forced exhale at first. They were taught at a young age to face pain with silence, and in the heat of this 'battle' it was all she could do but revert to their conditioning.

A hand curled up to rip the needles from her person, but it seemed they had already vanished. Interesting! The pain they left behind remained vivid, and soon she emitted a low chuckle; a stained hand becoming darker and more slick looking until fresh ink began to drip from her fingers.

Still chuckling darkly under her breath, Needle's hand curled into a claw as she lunged forward.

Lattice saw it coming and simply sidestepped the lunge with a small giggle exiting her lips as she was honestly starting to have fun with this. She spun quickly and lashed a needle covered arm out at her Twin's unprotected shoulder blade with a rather vicious swing.

The tearing needles into her skin drew another low hiss of pain from the Engraver, but it did not stay a pained sound for long. The chuckle returned for a moment, a hand coming up to grab the offended arm, gripping her wrist tightly while her free hand reached up to grip her sister's chin, leaning close to press her needles into skin.

"Isss that all you got, Dear Sister?" She taunted low.

She didn't move to jerk away instead she just let her Twin grasp her and bring her nice and close. The feel of needles piercing into her was a sweet pain, much like her love for her Sibling. She slowly smiled as she uttered a sweet, "No. Not at all." She pushed forward a bit kissing her sister on the nose before she leaned her head back and delivered a firm headbutt toward her Twin's forehead.

It was meant to get her Sibling to release her rather than do lasting damage.

Needle had a retort for that, really she did; but alas, that headbutt hit just the right spot. She released her sister almost immediately and staggered back a step, disoriented.

"My, my, Dearest Needle," she said in a low tone as she wandered forward, "not feeling well? Here. Let me fix that," she hissed as she suddenly brought forth a foot to kick at her Twin's knee to try and send her downward.

Needle stooped to block the leg, but alas was too late; she did however, manage to grab a hold on her sister's foot. The Engraver was breathless; she had never had this much damage done to her before. It hurt, but it was also strangely pleasant.

"How considerate of you, darkling." She said sweetly despite the practically hissing undertone. "But I do not require your assistance." The grip on Lattice's foot tightened and then twisted, hard.

There was an arch of pain that went through her as Needle ever so kindly twisted her foot causing Lattice to buckle and fall with a heavy thud. The Engraver caught herself on her hands which caused another vibration of pain to run through her - pain she took as stoic as she could with only a light groan exiting her throat. Her other foot raised up and she kicked at her Twin, "I am so glad for your quick rebound," she growled softly.

Needle flinched behind her mask at the kick, taking a half step back. Ouuu this hurt, it really did. Her body was feeling heavier and heavier...and she liked it. "As am I, dear one." She said slowly, ghosting to close the distance. "As am I." With a twisted grin, a foot shot out to catch Lattice's collar, intent on pushing her down.

"Starting to feel a bit weak, Sister? Perhaps you should rest," she said in almost mocking concern as she sensed what her Twin was putting out in emotions. "So sad for you," she tsked lightly as she took the kick with just a light rocking before eventually she went down for a moment or two. For now Lattice stayed low to the ground as she twisted her form to lean forward with a long nailed inkstained hand she scratched at her sister's shin with a bit of a snarl.
