Lynx gave a small nod as she continued to walk, her eyes glimmering. "yes... that's it.." she smiled softly, unaware of the horse sized dragon that was running towards her.
Kochava saw the dragon and immediately put himself between it and Lynx. He didn't know what he'd be able to do against the creature without a weapon, but his upbringing and army training combined to make shielding others almost instinctive.
Lynx blinked and peeked over his shoulder, only to start laughing. "Xaene~!" she giggled, stopping the dragon in its tracks. "relax... he's... my pet..." she purred in Kochava's ear before ducking around him to hug the purple scaled beast.
Kochava shivered at the sudden surprise of her breath on his ear. He watched her hugging the dragon, perplexed. "Your pet?" He probably should have expected something like that, but he hadn't.
"hm... yep." she smiled softly, leaning against the dragon with a smile. "i'm friends with tons of beasts like him... and he's only sort of my pet... he comes and goes as he pleases." she grinned and then walked back over and took his hand again. "c'mon...let's get to the house." she hummed
"except this cat breathes fire... and ice at times..." she chuckled softly, finally making it to her house as she unlocked it and held the door open for him.
the witch blinked and tipped her head to hte side when he spoke, confused. "uhm... what did you say?" she asked softly, slowly walking around him again.
"Eh? Whoops, was I speaking a different language?" Kochava asked, rubbing the back of his neck. "All I said was that this place is quaint. I must've slipped into my home's language."
Lynx gave a smile and nodded her head. "its.... homey..." she hummed, laughing softly. "and its fine. i've done that before too..." she hummed. just not in a long time...
