[Open Class] Horseman Trail 5 (Titus)

Yep...this place sure was safe. But where were all the trinkets? Was this a joke? Was this a way to tease him or had Titus cleared them all out the other day? Whatever the answer he wasn't finding anything.

Finally the faintest noise caught his attention but when Titus looked up the lights were a long way off. His little safe area was keeping him hidden for the time being. It made him pick up his pace though hoping to find something before he was forced out of his spot.

The noise still persisted. Were they looking for him now? Titus grumbled as he continued to score the area and find nothing not really wanting to move on just yet. He might be forced to soon though, it was hard to say.

Finally after circling the area for some time Titus finally found a trinket. Oh sweet trinket. Closer and closer he was coming to victory.

There was the sounds of footsteps near by and Titus knew it was time to move. This area really didn't have any trinkets so hopefully the next would.

As soon as he left his little 'safe' area Titus stumble upon another trinket. Pocketing it quickly he continued to move hoping to find another safe spot devoid of those stupid little ones.

Another trinket! Titus snatched it up and put it in his pocket with the rest. Surely he was getting close to having enough now. Slowly he continued to move about, eyes peeled for danger. It would do no good to get caught now.

Again he could hear noises behind him and they were getting closer. No doubt they had found his trail. Moving quickly Titus hid once again, staying still to avoid detection. He was going to finish this stupid course and throw all these trinkets in the horseman's face.

His pace began to slow again once it seemed he had put some distance between himself and the lights that no doubt belonged to the small ones. As he slowed he spotted another trinket and quickly pocketed it before continuing on.

It seemed just as soon as he slowed the small ones would show up in the distance hot on his trail. Grumbling he picked up his pace again no doubt over looking trinkets on the path by doing this. How irritating.

Up ahead on the trail Titus spotted another trinket in the dim light. It was almost hard to see through the looming fog on the ground but he made his way carefully forward and added it with the others. Fifteen total so far. Should he get more or head back?

Deciding it best to head back Titus turned himself around and made his way back down the trail. One his way he spotted another trinket and pocketed it. One more couldn't hurt right?

Hearing the voices and noises moving closer Titus picked up his pace deciding it was no longer safe to stick around. He made his way back down the trail and finally exited. Strolling up to the horseman Titus emptied his pockets of the 16 trinkets, throwing them on the ground at his feet. "There's your stupid trinkets." He grumbled feeling that it had been far more trouble than it was worth.
