[Open Class] Rockem' Sockem' Trashbots (Mort + Alex) Success

Good thing Alex was having fun, because Mort wasn't at the moment. @@ "Guuuuuuuh . . ." He shut his eyes and made a face with the third crash, only given hope that maybe he'd be useful in a couple of seconds when he heard the robot's innards begin to slowly screech to a halt in certain parts and felt the grip loosen a tad. "K-Keep going!" he cheered Alex on, his body hating him for having set foot in the building in the first place. "Is g-g-getting l-loose!"

Trashbot A HP: 5/20

That last crash, though exciting, had left Alex a bit dizzy in the head. He still tried to get his robot to move towards Morts, whacking it some more with his arm but maybe a little more feebly then earlier. Instead of doing what he wanted, though, it just zipped on past.

Curses!

He wondered if there was any way to get the Jack-be-damned thing to turn around?

Mort was the worst at space getting his robot to crash into anything beyond air. In fact, this time his wriggling just granted him a long red-slit stare from the thing.

RESISTANCE FUTILE.

Oh Jack, now this was turning into a sci-fi movie. A bad one.

Ok, time to get this rust bucket turned around! Alex began both kicking hitting at the contraption, but all it resulted in was trash-bot spinning in violent circles.

Do zombies ever get sick? We were about to find out.

"NNNNNGGGGGG-" Watching Alex spin made Mort nauseous. The robot kept him in place as if sadistically wanting the zomboil to throw up, and indeed if his bruised complexion looked any worse than it did already, he might be a stained blueberry.

Oh Jack, that was not a gag reflex. That was not a gag reflex.

Trashbot A HP: 5/20

Alex's stomach was heaving, the contents of which would not at all be a pleasent thing to bring up right now.

But hey, the trashbots could always clean it up!

Suddenly his bot lurched to a stop, making Alex's body jerk and his ears ring.

"Back.The.Jack.UP!" He yelled at the stupid rusted piece of junk, slamming his fist against it.

To his utmost surprise, it actually listened to him! It went into reverse rapidly, banging loudly against Morts bot with a screech of twisting metal.

Trashbot B: 19/20
Damge Dealt: 5. BE FREE MORT!

Free? Free?

FREEEEEEEEEE. He landed less than gracefully, but FREEEEEEEE.

And Mort had a bone to pick with these 'bots. Growling like an animal, he grabbed the nearest, largest trash bag by him, glared at the stupid twice as highish thing in its stupid red laser eyes, and tucked the hefty projectile right in its face.

"D-DO NOT WANT!" he yelled, his head hurting from the loud sound but his soul feeling so good.

Trashbot A: Destroyed

Alex couldn't really see what had happened, since his Robot had backed into Mort's, but the impact felt like it had done some real damage this time! Slowly, his robot began to turn, making clinking and clanking noises as it went, and Alex could see that Mort had made it back to the ground.

Yes! Sweet sweet SUCCESS!

Except that Alex was still being held in his monster robots clutches, and no matter how he kicked, punched, or scraped at the creature with his nails, it just would not let him go.

"Mort!" He called out, only to see a large trash bag hurtling towards him. He winced in response, but as it turned out, Mort had a rather good arm on him, and the trash bag took the robot in the face! "Yaaaa! You tell em Mort!" He beamed down at the other zomboil.

"SUPER DO NOT WANT!" Mort added, fueled by Alex's cheer as he found another smaller head-shaped bag to fling at the robot. "L-Leggo! NO U."

Another, smaller trash bag rebounded off of the Robot, but the damned thing was now starting to move towards the waste disposal again. As much as Alex really didn't give a damn about what he smelt or looked like, he somehow didn't want to be tossed into a pile of trash very much.

He did, however, here a noise of protest from the trashbot, and that gave him some hope that what Mort was doing was actually helping.

"Awwww yaa! Keep it up, buddy!" He yelled down encouragingly.

Trashbot B: 11/20
Damage: No longer an issue because Alex is Boss.

8D YAY PRAISE.

D8 NO, NO CHUTE.

Mort shambled up next to the robot and attempted to kick one of the thing's legs to distract it, but really all he did was probably scuff his sneaker. "R-Rust bucket! Momma was a garbage can," he taunted, biting the inside of his lip not to tear up from the pay nth a had shot up through his leg from the ill-reasoned kick.

Alex had to bite back his laughter. This was all just too ridiculous! He'd be more careful of answering texts from one zomboil Mort, in future.

"Don't try to kick it, try to throw things at it like you were before! You're just going to hurt yourself!" and as an afterthought. "Just so you know, if I get thrown in the waste disposal, when I get back out I'm throwing you in!"

... >8[ "A-Already been!" he countered with a grimace, rubbing his head and not seeming to notice he had some sort of mushy substance on it from hurling trash bags. "Three times. Came out o-okies."

Like that was supposed to be helpful.

"Me, t-to me!" Mort challenged the robot, poking its exterior with an electrically charged finger in hopes of baiting it to come after him - and a little further away from the chute.

"Well then you'll be fine the fourth time too!" He yelled back, though he was clearly joking.

Or was he?

Suddenly Alex felt a tiny jolt, like a spark of electricity had hit him. The small electric current Mort had produced must have been conducted up the robot and had zapped Alex. "Uhhhh, Mort? Try not to electrocute me, ok?"

The Robot itself shuddered a little, but then kept going.

Trashbot B: 10/20

"Sorryyyyyyy. Not v-very thinking now." 8V Whatever that meant.

Still at least Mort seemed able enough to locate another trash bag, a particularly liquid-filled one that made sloshing noises as it was flung at the robot's backside. Maybe he could cause a small short-circuit and make the things feel just like he did?
