Moving along Jun saw the fire coming at the group, but simply kept a level head. Hearing Akatsuki yell move to the sides, Jun nodded. However, he wouldn't have to move to the side. Much like Akatsuki, Jun would head underground. However, he would add in a little added effect. Gathering his chakra he preformed a quick hand seal. The real Jun would disappear, but under the cover of an insect clone he made. The clone would shift to the side dodging the flames as Jun preformed the Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu [ Double Suicide Decapitation Technique ]. Speeding through the ground, he would head for where the man that shot the fire would be. When he reached the area, his hands would appear from the ground attempting to grab him by the ankles and pull him in. Meanwhile, the insect clone kept advancing forward as well.

❝Izaya had come a ways from the forest, still within the confines of the Snow Country, but not exactly in the village. His search has led him this far, and he was getting closer. He could feel it in his gut. Eyes peeled and nerves calm despite the situation, Izaya went along, still trying to locate Hanzo. Aware of several other footprints in the area, he surmised that it probably belonged to Hanzo and the assassins, but there was no way to tell for sure. He was nearing a cave and he had no intentions of going in blindly. Forming a few handsigns he Water Clone. Standing off to the side of the cave, Izaya allowed his clone to run in in his stead. As soon as the clone turned the corner to enter it was met by a huge fire dragon that tore through it and caused it to evaporate almost instantly upon contact. he was positive that something was happening now. He peeked around the entrance to ensure that there wasn't a follow up attack to come, and when he was satisfied he ran forward. He stopped after a few steps, aware of others from the village already inside the cave. "I guess I'm the last one here." Everyone seemed to have something doing, and when Izaya looked straight across the cave he could see a man he did not recognize. The assassin no doubt. He contemplated casting a Genjutsu on the man, but then thought differently. He was aware of movement beneath the ground and he did not want to somehow cause anyone else harm. He waited.

Genesis nodded as Akatsuki,Jun and Hanzo took off in their attempt to infiltrate the cave. As solid as the Jounin's plan was, he was unlearned in the extent of his own abilities. Still, he decided to go along with the plan. He whipped through a string of hand signs and as he did so his skin took on an odd sheen. It would be hard to notice from a distance but the Assassins Arrows would find no hold in his body. He took off at a spring, circling around the mountain. He ran behind bolders and held his blade between his own body and the marksmen. When he was close he cut hard, running towards the man. He quickly scaled the side of the mountain and neared Kyoji. He stopped when he was about 20 meters from him, keeping a weary eye on the man"So, you're the one responsible for this eh? I'm sorry to say, you'll be facing me now"

Considering that they were high up the mountains and it was basically silent, it would not be hard for him to hear anyone approaching. Kyoji had been ready to move, seeing flames shoot out of the mouth of the cave and knowing the shinobi had bypassed without him seeing. That was when he heard someone approaching him, obviously not concerned with sneaking about since Kyoji could hear the snow crunching.
Either the person approaching was able to sense chakra or he had been told by one of the others where he was. Troublesome, but the blonde was not really worried. If this shinobi were really smart, he would try a sneak attack or not face him alone. Just to be safe though, Kyoji eased the tension on his bow, forming the hand seal and summoning a Shadow Clone to assist him. When Genesis arrived and wasted time speaking, the real Kyoji placed his bow and arrows on his back, safely securing him before drawing a large knife from his belt. His shadow clone would instead draw his bow and arrows, obviously being the one to attack from afar.
"You're sorry?" scoffed the blonde, finally turning so that he would fully face Gensis. Figures, a new boy carrying a big sword. There was only so much maneuverability one could get from such a weapon. "You sincerely will be after I kill you." Although instead of attacking, he took a couple of steps forward as his clone notched an arrow in his bow, drawn back and ready to fire. "Well?" obviously he didn't even consider the other a threat since he was allowing Genesis the first move.

While the lead Assassin filled the cave with fire, the other three were on guard and ready to attack. One of the three was jounin level and the other two were chuunin level. They'd believe they could repel the Yuki shinobi in the cave, but if not then there would be others inside the base that would deal with them.
They had seen Akatsuki dive below ground, yet not quite seeing Jun do the same since he'd substituted a clone to distract them. However, they were still prepared for an attack to come from any direction since a cave was made of earth on all sides. Which was why when there was the sound of earth rumbling, they all looked and saw Jun attempting to grab the ankles of the jounin. The jounin would move one leg and as the other was grabbed, he'd pull and wrench free of the genin's grip.
As for the arrow aimed straight for his head, the other jounin grabbed the Assassin and pulled him out of the way, just in time.
One of the chuunin was not lucky enough to dodge Akatsuki's blade and had been cut in the back. Falling, the second jounin turned to face the red head while the chuunin moved to help the assassin. The chuunin formed the necessary hand seals and his cheeks bulged. Opening his mouth, a sticky substance was expelled in a strong jet, coating the roof, walls, and floor of the cave and he also aimed to coat the other shinobi in the substance.
To add to their troubles, the jounin facing Akatsuki ran through hand seals as he said "Oi! Cover them!" Knowing the signal, the jounin and the chuunin covered their ears just as the other jounin clapped his hands together. A thundering roar erupted and echoed through the cave, the sound affecting any, aside from the user of course, who heard it. In this case, signals would be mixed up if sent out. For example, a signal to move their legs might result in them collapsing to their knees or their arms to flail about. Either way, it would allow the three an advantage if it affected most if not all of the Yuki shinobi.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ]

Official Description: This technique creates a solid clone of the user, unlike the empty ones formed from the traditional Bunshin no Jutsu. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two decent blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created to appear in the same condition as the original did when he/she performed the technique itself. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original even by the Byakugan- because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance.

Akatsuki almost as if in slow motion, re sheathed his blade as the chunin he had attack fell to the ground lying motionless. Akatsuki had succeeded in taking out one of their enemies, that would at least lift some burden from the others. He turned noticed the chunin begin to spray the area with some sort of black substance. He looked at his team, they seemed to be doing well, Jun was still underground so the black tar wouldn't effect him much whatever it did. Izaya and Hanzo were still at the mouth of the cave. He couldn't help them from this distance, before the tar reached him he done into the ground again. Since he was so deep in the ground, he didn't hear the sound of the Jonin technique when he clapped. But he was still planning his next move, he was underneath them currently yet since everything was coated by black substance he didn't want to touch it. He had to create a spot for them to move to, as he swam he headed in the direction of where he saw them. If he had to guess he was somewhere underneath the jonin of the group. He needed to figure out a way to take them out. He would need to take out the jonin so he could focus on capturing the assassin alive. He then thought of a good plan. He swam up to the edge of the floor so he was just barely beneath the ground. He reached out and grasped a large chunk of rock pushing his Bakuton chakra into it. He tore the earth up from the floor he then came out of the ground beneath the earth. He could step freely because he had removed the layer of tar stuff in that small area. He then threw the large chunk of earth still covered in the black stuff at the group of shinobi. If he hit one then they would probably be knocked down. Which unknowing to him they would get stuck on the tar they had created. He wondered if this tar stuff was flammable. One thing he had forgotten about was that genesis was fighting the Konin above them. Hopefully he could distract them long enough for them to finish this. If he didn't the Konin would come up behind them blocking their escape. Then they would be royally screwed.

With a hand on the man's ankle, Jun would start to pull down, however, not soon after the man would break free of Jun's grasp. Using the holes he made through his hands, Jun got some air and a view of where the people were. Moving deeper in the ground, Jun pulled out his duel cross swords. Pressing the button, he separated them and stayed down there waiting for the right time.
As for Jun's clone, when the goo started to fly at it, the clone jumped up and dodged the first wave. However, it didn't know that it would be landing on the goo and its feet got stuck. At that point though, the clone would be pointless so it started to bugle and it looked like the skin was crawling. In the blink of an eye, the clone burst into a fury of insects. The humming of their beating wings, filled the cave slightly. By the time the jonin was sending off the clapping attack, they would move into action. Forming into a massive cluster, the attack would slam into them. Due to the fact that it was a sound attack and not an actual electric attack, Hanzo and Izaya should be pretty safe from the attack. After all, sound projected itself in the form of waves and when the waves hit an object, they would bounce off of it. That plus the added sound of the buzzing, it would hopefully cancel out all the sound for the two.
For Jun, he would under the ground and a little behind the jonin that made the attack, so he didn't need to worry about it. However, he would know when his clone broke apart and when it did, he would pick the time to attack. Pushing up, he exploded from the ground behind the chunin and the jonin. The ground exploding would give a little shock and hopefully allow Jun have a successful attack. Also if it made them look behind them, maybe the others could land a successful attack. His attack was rather simple. His back would be to the chunin but with one of the swords in a reverse grip in his hand, he would attempt to stab the chuunin in the back. The other sword was held in a guard position in case the other jonin or more people came through.

<******** you' And so it started. The dance of battle, one preformed since the dawn of human civilization began once again atop the tundra that was their battlefield. Nobody really expected Genesis to win, he was outmatched by this man. The antithesis to Genesis-the end to his beginnings. Rage. That's was his source of power in past battles. A burning fire that filled his blood and left him wanting more. No longer was that his drive. His time with the Sage's took that vengeful fire and replaced it with a pool of Serenity. His mind was clear and his heart ready to test the will of his conviction against that of this man. Of coarse, nobody expected him to win...
And that's what assured him he would
He took off in a dash, sprinting recklessly with his sword drawn back at the Assassin. Of coarse he would expect this, at the way he blindly ran up to and then confronted the man he had to assume that he was dim-witted and would consequently act in accordance. That would prove a hopefully fatal error. For just as it seemed Genesis was going to commit to the attack he cut sharply, kicking know into the air and into the mans face using a swipe of his sword as he changed directions. The noon sun was high, illuminating every shadowy recess. Genesis ran up the side of the mountain, heading towards the Shadow Clone. In a whip of his arm he hurled his Mammoth Blade towards the shadow clone. Seven feet of sharpened steel spinning horizontally towards the clone would throw it off its guard to say the least. That was not his main attack however, for now he was free of the added weight of his sword and could move unencumbered. As he ran he sent chakra pulses from the soles of his feet into the snow underfoot. This, of coarse, would not be very effective but was significant enough to disturb the top most level of snow and send a avalanche, albeit a small one, headed down the side of the mountain towards the Assassin who would probably be pursuing him by now. Meanwhile Genesis was atop the clone a punch already drawn back and let loose. Hopefully this would connect...hopefully...

As Genesis rushed towards him, Kyoji did not honestly expect anything truly clever from the male. With one of his knives drawn, he crouched down and waited as his Shadow Clone notched an arrow in the bow. He was not disappointed. The other merely kicking snow up into his face did nothing to faze the blonde. In fact, he used the snow to disappear and reappear near his clone since he was sure that would be Genesis's next target.
Not being disappointed, he could see the other hustling up the slope towards his shadow clone. Clone Kyoji easily dodged the blade the Genesis just threw away. It came in more at an angle since the other was heading up a slope, so the clone merely had to duck down. Now he was given a nice shot of the other shinobi, putting chakra into the arrows, the clone fired off an arrow right towards Genesis's chest as the male attempted to punch him, after which he would move away since the other would either be harmed or dodge the attack.
After his clone moved away, the real Kyoiji moved in. Since he was already up the mountain and near his clone, the avalanche would not harm him. So he moved in, knife drawn and began slashing towards the male. However, as he threw horizontal slashes towards the male, the knife changed hands, passing from one to the other at random intervals to confuse the male and to leave him open to have his body injured, slashed, and stabbed.

Meanwhile, inside of the save, the two jounin and one chuunin were busy battling off the other shinobi. Things were not quite looking good, they would have to go into the base and get the others to help. Since the one attack did not help, they would have to work to eliminate the shinobi one by one. The other jounin had moved back to the Assassin and the chuunin to help out, it would be needed since they were all being targeted. It was the assassin's turn to deal with Akatsuki's attack, the chuunin would also focus on attacking the male while the jounin deal with any of the others that tried to attack them.
The assassin would move forward, not worried about the sticky starch since he could easily focus chakra into his feet to avoid being stuck. While the other two were directly behind him, he thrust out his left index finger, chakra also focused in it so he would not get stuck by the starch, to meet the large rock being thrown at them. With great strength and precision, it split in mid-air, forming two separate pieces that flew past all three of them. The one chunk of earth on their side would intercept the arrow aiming at the chuunin and block the attack. Leaving the chuunin free to form the necessary hand seals without worry before he expelled a jet of water from his stomach. The Assassin stepped to the side so that the jet could aim right for Akatsuki's torso, hoping to rip a hole right through it. Even if he missed the torso, he still might be able to cut off a limb or at least partially cut it off.
With the jounin on the look out for any of the others attacking, he easily spotted Jun coming from the ground. The explosion of ground gave him away and the jounin was fast in creating the necessary hand seals. With electricity concentrated into his hand, the jounin shoved his fingers into the ground. Within the small distance, small lightning bolts danced along the ground before a large chain of lightning burst out of the ground in front of Jun. If the other was really so committed to attacking the chuunin, then he'd have his arm wrapped up in a chain of lightning. It'd keep him in place and deliver electric shocks to Jun's body. The jounin was not going to let him slip away into the earth again. He wanted to play with the big boys, then he'd take his beatings.
Since the Chuunin had moved, even if Jun's attack was successful, he'd either miss or only stab at the chuunin's leg. Which would get his attention and make him strike back at Jun.

He had long anticipated for the call and soon it was received. Quickly while his eyes assessed the availability of the sticking projectiles, he made three more steps forward before kneeling while forming the Nara's signature seal. Kagemane No Jutsu.. / Shadow Imitation Technique. From his body, his shadow extended while carefully ensured it slithering past Akatsuki's own and stretched even further due to the cavern's shading. With the refined shadows of the kunais met by the torch-lights, all he had to do was simply connect the dots. But if they did, they could have to pay more attention to the ground for a short period of time at the very least. The movement of his shadow was fairly quick and it proved it's worth by already passing the first nearest kunai. Whether they knew of his clan's techniques, he wouldn't know. He would hoped that this diversion would work.
After that it rapidly split into two that forked separate ways.
The first one headed for the the vertically erect projectiles scattered near the Assassin and the two chuunin. But of course, it's path would not come straightforwardly blunt. The rushing shadow scouted through the shade spots of seven other kunais forming an irregular zigzag pattern until it came close to the assassin. It would threaten to elope with any one of the trio. With the threesome traveling in an arranged cluster it would make it that much easier for Hanzo to snare anyone or all of them. And if he missed, he could easily rebound right back with the use of the other metal projectiles.
The second one ran an even wider jagged path towards the other Jounin from his six o clock position. When it reached the next nearest kunai, it stopped for a brief second before going within a gaunt covering. He couldn't risk having that one disperse under the crackling lights of his raiton technique. However, thanks to Jun's minor explosion from when he ejected himself from the ground, it provided that rocky surface. Assuming that the jounin would be busy handling Jun, Hanzo had that shadow out to get him on the ready.
The two that traveled now made an uncompleted web over the majority of the battle field. It didn't matter if they were thinning out to the width of fingers so as long as they had the extra spot of shadow to benefit from. Strangely enough, Hanzo found it to be useful because it acted as a deductive marker. He would then be able to effectively reach them. The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow for as far as it has sufficient area and shade. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on preexisting shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction.
The major downside of the Shadow Imitation is that it is tiring to use repeatedly; Hidan notes that the ability is subject to some form of diminishing return and decreases in potency after repeated use (Shikamaru can only maintain it for 5 minutes per use). If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique also deteriorates. Insufficient lighting will make the technique less effective. A particularly strong opponent can also resist the shadow's forced imitation.
