[1v1] Old rivalries never die (Titus vs Shun)

Shun started to move out of the way of Titus's blow, but felt his fist graze against his cheek. Letting out a hiss, he worked on staying close, bringing up a knee to try and slam it into his gut. Maybe if he was lucky, he'd nail the spot he had cut open earlier.

If not, a hit was still a hit. His goal here was to beat the demon down. Maybe shut up him for a little while. Pop his bubble. Something along those lines.

As Shun might have hoped his knee made a solid contact and his pants would no doubt come back bloodied. The demon let out a grunt in response, a clawed hand shoving the reaper away as he tried to regain his bearings. Really he wasn't doing so well but then again he hardly took anything seriously.

"Is that all you got?" And was also a masochist to boot apparently.

Being pushed back and away from Titus, Shun merely let out a huff. His knee felt a little wet from that strike he did, so he had managed to smack his wound. Momentarily, he thought of trying to exploit that some more. So he darted back forward, bringing a leg up to try and kick the demon in the torso. He was trying to mix up his hand to hand strikes with his dagger attacks, in hopes of throwing Titus off on what to expect next. He did not want to stop attacking either way. No, he didn't want to give his enemy here a chance to catch his breath if he could help it.

Silent as ever, he just pressed on with this focus in mind.

Shun was doing a fine job of keeping Titus on his toes in his currently weakened state. The demon barely had time to weave and dodge let alone strike out against the reaper. With a growl Titus' wings flared out and he took flight keeping above the ground level and well out of reach to regain his bearings. It seemed he was leaving a noticeable trail in his wake though the demon was still doing a good enough job ignoring the pain.

Shun looked up as Titus decided to take flight. It wasn't too bad if an idea, but the demon was by no means safe from him in the air. Not wanting to relent, the Reaper shot his arm out, hurling one of his daggers right for the flying nightmare. His daggers weren't really meant for throwing purposes, but they made due when there was a need for it.

He also threw his other dagger too for the hell of it. Keep the demon on edge.

Where Titus thought he was safe he really wasn't, he moved quickly to avoid the first dagger but the second one quickly followed and caught him in the side. Another grunt left him as he pulled it free letting the blasted thing drop to the ground. It was of little use to keep it. Shun could merely de-summon it and summon it again. ******** reapers and their tricks.

And that was exactly what he did. Shun couldn't teleport again just yet, so he had to make due with this ranged strategy in the meantime. Within a moment, the daggers were back in his hands, and in the next, he was hurling them straight for the nightmare demon, aiming for those damn wings of his in hopes of grounding him. The guy hadn't attempted to strike back in a little while, but that did not mean he should ease up.

It would be easier on himself to be able to strike at ground level too.

The first dagger would have hit its mark if the membrane of his wings had been of a normal substance. As it was the blade slipped right through the smokey wisps but the second, however, landed on its mark at the forearm of his wing. The muscle began to spasm and Titus did was he could to prevent a crash landed flapping his other wing twice as hard. Landing rather hard the demon ended up rolling before coming to a stop in a crouch, a growl bellowing up as he opened his mouth wide. Yes...he was going to try to bite now.

Lunging forward the demon snapped at one of Shun's hands, shark like teeth in search of any little bit of flesh to rip and tear.

That had done well to ground the demon. Summoning his weapons back to his hands, Shun prepared himself to continue to attack. Though before he could charge at the opponent, Titus was flinging himself towards him. He was.. trying to bite him!? Seriously?

The Reaper pulled back quickly, feeling those sharp teeth n** at the back of his hand. A small red line appeared where he Titus had snapped at, but it wasn't a serious injury by any means. Just an annoyance.

Taking advantage of their proximity, he brought his other hand up to try and slice into the demon.

The bite wasn't much but Titus wasn't about to give up with just one little nibble. No, he was determined to try again snapping his jaws at the reaper once again. Staying so close was working to his disadvantage though and he took a fairly solid hit knocking him to his knees as he braced an arm across the gash on his torso. Blood was dripping pretty freely now and it was only now that Titus was finally showing the signs of the pain he was feeling.

"Lousy reaper and your stupid weapons. Like you could manage in a fight without them."

Feeling the teeth once more, Shun let out a hiss as he recoiled his hand. Again, it wasn't much of an injury, but it still stung. At Titus's comment regarding the weapons, he let out a scoff in response before lunging forth to try and finish off the demon.

As soon as he snapped down and caught a bit of flesh Titus tore away and dodged the following attack from the reaper. A normal person might have taken this time to surrender or retreat but Titus was a glutton for punishment. Either that or he truly didn't understand his own limits. Whatever the reason he lunged forward to attack again throwing a rather weak punch. Ah...blood loss, it was a killer.

Shun didn't feel that punch all too much, but it didn't matter. Quickly turning, he went to try and clobber Titus in the side of the head with the hilt of one of his daggers.

Needless to say Titus wasn't going to go down without a fight. He was bleeding and tired and was willing to ignore all that to get in one more hit. It was a little more effective this time as well, his fist making a solid hit though in his slight disorientation he wasn't sure where.

Taking the punch to the gut, Shun let out a grunt before releasing one of his daggers to grab the back of Titus's head. It was time to end this.

"One. You talk too much. Two. Mess with Mitsu again, and you will regret it," he hissed while staring into the demon's eyes fiercely, finally breaking his own silence. With that said, he turned before trying to slam Titus's face into the ground.
