During Victorian Times there was an entire Language using fans Ladies would use the fan they carried with them to flirt or communicate with Gentlemen each gesture with the fan meant something different for example The fan placed near the heart, “You have won my love. or Half-opened fan pressed against her lips or putting the fan handle to her lips, “Kiss me” or “You may kiss me.” there are many more could you imagine memorizing all those gestures. biggrin

Victoria Whitechapel So cool biggrin I always wanted to learn sign language. Is it hard to learn? It's not very hard because I'm learning American Sign Language (ASL) which is based on the same language I'm fluent in already. But like any skill, the trick is practice, practice, practice. rofl And I'm terrible at fingerspelling because I can't put words together in my head that are spelled quickly. I use a free site called www.signingsavvy.com. I grabbed your booty, earning gold for both of us!

If you didn't know On May 5th, there was a Super Moon. A supermoon, is the coincidence of a full moon (or a new moon) with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, or perigee, leading to the technical name for a supermoon of the perigee-syzygy of the Earth-Moon-Sun system. The association of the Moon with both oceanic and crustal tides has led to claims that the supermoon phenomenon may be associated with increased risk of events such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. However, the evidence of such a link is widely held to be unconvincing.

When you sleep, you grow by about 8mm (0.3in). The next day you shrink back to your former height. The reason is that your cartilage discs are squeezed like sponges by the force of gravity when you stand or sit.
