One Big Adventure! ( Open )

As Reos slid up onto the upper level, having wrapped himself around a support beam to slither up, he bumped into what at first seemed to be a rock. Reos almost ignored it in favor of the tasty-looking creature that had produced the squeaking noise until he saw the 'rock' begin to crack. Another of his kin was about to leave the warm-place.

The egg began to crack further until it opened and a hatchling slightly bigger than Reos was revealed. she slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Her eyes were still trying to focus, and they were having a hard time doing so.

Kiki blinked a few times as she observed all the wonderful colors before realizing her new playmate was getting away and she quickly began her pursuit once more, chasing the rodent around in curcles just outside the barn door "come back squeaky thing!"

Reos looked at his newborn... he sniffed the air... sister-kin, and cocked his head to one side. "You are yet more strange than our absent brother-kin. Perhaps there are things in the world less strange than those within this... place."

Reos slithered down from the upper area and across the floor towards where his sister-kin had left the place. He stared for several seconds, face blank, before cocking his head at a high-pitched tinkling sound. It was coming from nearby, and perhaps two minutes later he was at the edge of a small stream, perhaps twice as deep as he was tall. Without really thinking, he slid down the bank and into the water.

In an instant he felt perfectly at home. His body was so much more graceful here than when he was sliding along in the dirt, and it was as easy to breathe under the water as it was on land.

Athena scaled the wall, digging into the wood with the ends of her feet, to see who Reos-brother had spoken to. It was a newborn one of her kin, female by the scent, and mixing the smells of all the other of her kin that she had 'met' thus far. "Who are you, small sister-kin?"

The hatchlings eyes finally adjusted and she lifted her head to look at her big sister. "My name Merlyn. What yours?" And after she asked she struggled to stand before managing to get all six legs beneath her to work and let her stand. Her wings remained fold against her back and moved her tail slowly side to side.

Athena leaned forward and her antennae twitched as she tried to determine what Merlyn-sister was, exactly. She was certainly similar to Athena herself, but she was also similar to Reos-brother and Buddy-brother, and there were parts of her who were similar to the sister-kin who had gone outdoors and smelled strangely... tasty. "I am Athena."

Kiki continued to chase the large rodent, happily pouncing around, stopping as she watched another strange animal appear, this one was larger than the other, much larger, and to her horror, it quickly swept the small animal up in its mouth and began to rip it to pieces. Kiki quickly turned and ran back towards the barn, bursting back in through the hole in the door and diving head first into a pile of hay, her back part of her body being the only visable part of her.

Merlyn moved closer and snuggled agains ther sisten before leaping over the edge and opening her wings to glide down to the floor. then she heard laughing and went outside to see one of her sisters chasing something. she decided to chase too. but then her big sister ran past her to hide. And so she followed. she moved right to her sister and snuggled.

Athena walked outside, looking around dazedly, and noticed all the food. It was everywhere, as far as she could see, and it smelled delicious.

All thoughts of her brothers and sisters gone in the face of her sudden urge to gorge on this bounty, Athena walked over to the nearest stalk of wheat and helped herself.

Kiki suddenyl poked her head up from the hay as she felt something snuggling up to her before looking to see a slightly larger dragons rear end sticking out from the same hay pile. "......uhm.." She reached out and poked Merlyn with one of her front legs before quickly pouncing on her. "RAWR!"

Merlyn giggled and turned over and hugging her sister with all four front legs and both wings. "My big sister..." She said as she closed her eyes and simply snuggled.

Kiki couldnt help but struggle, she wasnt used to being snuggled, it made her nervous. "noooooo, im small, no squeeze the small dragon..." She wriggled abit more before sliding free and sitting down as she stared at Merlyn with a tilted head.

"Big Sister," Merlyn said before she poked Kiki with one of her front feet. Then she pointed to herself and said, "Merlyn. Little sister." Then she moved closer and rubbed the side of her head against kiki; trying to snuggle.

Kiki pounced on Merlyn once again before sitting up on her. "no...im little, your big." she blinked a few more times before pulling a strange face as a low rumble came from her stomach."....im hungry."
