Too bad, start over. 10 – You found a safe zone, you’re safe in the next instance you roll 3-seens in a row or you roll a ‘get grabbed’! His tail twitched with his steps as he weaved his way through the forest. A faint sound touched his ears, pausing for a moment as if he expected it to be a patrol. No, it wasn't a patrol, it was the sound of running water, a creek flowing through the forest. A few quick steps and he crossed the creek, reaching down to catch another trinket hidden between two rocks. Pocketing the trinket he stepped on the opposite side, ducking low to conceal himself in the mist that hung along the ground. (( trinkets: 3 seen: 0 ))

	He nearly slithered along the forest floor, weaving between trees and low lying branches. His hope was if he stayed low in the fog the patrols he would remain concealed, hidden from the patrols. As he moved across the ground, he spotted the glint of another trinket nearby, reaching out he grabbed it and pocketed it with the others. (( trinkets: 4 seen: 0 ))

	He dared to stand to his feet, looking out over the fog, searching for a landmark to tell him where he was and if any of the patrols were nearby. Jack damn it! There was a patrol right next to him, immediately letting lose an ear piercing sound as it spotted him. A frustrated growl, he ducked back into the fog bank, scurrying through the forest, weaving between several trees and ducking behind a bush even as the thing pursued him. He really hated those things. (( trinkets: 4 seen: 1 ))

	It was several turns, swift ducking behind tress, under branches, through a brush, and finally a doubling back toward the creek before he finally lost the patrol. He crouched low on the bank, watching as the light faded into the distance, continuing its search in another direction. Cautiously he stood, following along the creek for several steps, only turning away when he reached a large tree with low sweeping branches. It was under this tree that he spotted and collected another trinket. (( trinkets: 5 seen: 0 ))

	Oh great, another one of those infernal things! How was it that something that made so much noise when it found him move through the forest so quietly? He growled as the thing squealed at him, for a moment seriously considering the idea of setting the entire forest, and thus those things, on fire. But such an action would be unwise, and he instead shot a glare in the direction of the patrol before darting off again, ducking behind another tree and sliding under a large bush for cover. 	He snarled angrily, reeling around with a lash of his tail. Jack damn it, stupid things, GO THE HELL AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE! He was forced to run further into the forest, pausing only a moment as he hide behind a tree, then racing (as quietly as he could) through the brush again. His path was winding, never moving in one direction for more than a few steps, ducking behind the large trees that he passed, taking a moment to catch his breath than moving on again. (( trinkets: 5 seen: 2 ))

	He had thought for a moment he'd lost them, surely his winding path through the forest had thrown them off the trail. Alas they had all begun to converge on him, cutting off his escape and trapping him with his back against a large tree. An angry snarl, a lash of his tail, he was prepared to freeze and/or burn them all into oblivion! That was until he was grabbed from behind by one of the large...things, having been lured to his location by the infernal racket raised by the small patrols. His growling and swears were cut short as he felt a heavy blow to the back of his head. Dazed by the strike, he was helpless to fight off the assailant as he was once again dragged from the forest and forcibly ejected from the class. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he was immediately on his feet, reeling around to face whatever that thing had been, only to find it had already returned to the darkness of the forest. Coward! I bet you're not so tough out here! (( trinkets: 5 seen: 3 - FAIL ))

	Attempt three By now Sheridan was not interested in instructions, or whatever the conquest horsemen did or did not have to say. He hadn't needed to hear him the second time, he didn't need to listen a third, once was more than enough. It may have been a mistake, perhaps the horseman would have offered him some advice or insight, but the dragon doubted it severely. Even if the horseman had had such words, well Sheridan was not inclined to trust him. Instead he only pushed past with a snort and a twitch of his tail, plunging into the darkness of the forest without speaking a word.

	He wasn't in much of a mood to be stealthy, paying little attention to the twig that suddenly snapped under his feet. It seemed for a moment he had forgotten the goal of the challenge, his thoughts drifting more toward frying the patrols he encountered than evading them. It proved to be a mistake as one of the smaller patrols spotted him the moment he stepped into the forest, squeaking, rattling, and making all manner of annoying noises that were certain to attract others to his location. With a growl, Sheridan hurled a large stick in the patrol's direction before turning on his heal and stalking through the forest, ducking behind a tree, then darting to another in an attempt to shake the patrol from his trail. (( trinkets: 0 seen: 1 ))

	After several turns, dodges, ducking under and through a dense thicket, he finally lost the thing, snorting in contempt as he watched the light wader off in another direction, its infernal squealing fading as it moved further away until he could no longer hear or see its light. Emerging on the other side of the thicket the glint of an object caught his eye. Reaching out, he picked up the trinket and hastily placed it in his pocket. (( trinkets: 1 seen: 0 ))

	He wove his way past the thicket, skirting around the base of a large tree, ducking under one low laying branch (low to him at least), pausing a moment in his steps, then quickly ducking behind a large rock. His eyes narrowed, searching among the trees for any sign of the wandering patrols. No trace of the patrols, but he did find a trinket sitting on top of the rock he was currently hiding behind. (( trinkets: 2 seen: 0 ))

	His ears were met with that all too familiar and incredibly frustrating squealing and squawking sound as he was caught in the light of one of the patrols. A hiss, his muscles coiled as if for a moment he was debating pouncing on and tearing the thing into pieces. It was several moments before he moved, snorting as he decided it wasn't worth it, instead slinking off through the forest again, weaving behind and between the densely packed trees. (( trinkets: 2 seen: 1 ))

	He weaved his way amid the trees, ducking behind each tree in turn, pausing a moment before darting to the next. It was irritating, moving through the forest like a thief. Odd that he should feel so annoyed at the task. In another situation he would have embraced it, his lean and agile form far more suited to stealth than brute force. It was most likely his current irritation at his past failures, it was making he far more inclined to charge his way through the forest to freeze into giant blocks of frozen plasma directly where they stood. Moving through the forest, he caught sight of another trinket, pausing only long enough to pick up the object and shove it into his pocket before continuing his winding path through the trees. (( trinkets: 3 seen: 0 ))

	He was growing tired of the game, deciding to stop and rest with his back against a large tree. As he stood his senses remained alert, his eyes scanning among the foliage for any trace of the familiar lights moving among the trees, his ears listening for any sound. Scanning the ground, he caught sight of a trinket. Creeping forward, he collected the trinket then set off through the trees again, unwilling to stay in one place any longer than he already had. (( trinkets: 4 seen: 0 ))

His path through the forest led him to a dense grove of trees, blocked of on all sides by thick brush with the only entrance above, through the boughs of an especially large and gnarled oak tree. A grin, he could easily leap up and enter through the opening in the branches and into the alcove below. The alcove itself was spacious and bore no sign of tracks from the wandering patrols. He realized in an instant that they couldn't get in here. Excellent, he'd remember this place, it would allow him to elude the patrols should he need it. (( trinkets: 4 see: 0 safe zone: unused ))
