Roveth just smiled an innocent yet -evil- looking innocent smile seeing Airu flee, while Kudamon meanwhile scrabbled back to Shiro, and dived up his body to wrap around his neck tightly shivering "Shiro-kun, please please PLEASE never let her get ahold of me again!" of course, Roveth just chuckled a bit and idly stretched a bit, hearing Crystal's request for Guilmon, raising an eyebrow ~hmm.. wading pool? well, whatever floats her boat.~ he thought.
Shiro meanwhile had pulled out his Xros Loader and proceeded to call Kudamon back in with a pout as he nodded "sure, he's probably bored right now anyway." he said while flicking the Xros Loader in a spread motion, the energy wave flaring to let guilmon appear in a flourish of data while blinking "eh? what's going on Shiromon, Crystalmon?" of course Shiro chuckled "Crystal wants to borrow you for a bit, probably to make a decent hole."

"The trick is to dig out a decent sized hole before the tide fills it back up with sand so while Guilmon does the digging I'll be packing down the displaced sand to make a frontal wall to trap the water," Crystal sounded like she really knew what she was talking about.
"You sound like you've done this before," remarked Akari.
"Let's just say I had a pretty lousy track record with sand castles getting demolished on me and the only way to save them was to set up a defensive perimeter," Crystal answered with a slight shrug. She turned back to Shiro's Guilmon. "Anyway, if you help me out, I can see to it that you get to tag along with me the next time I swing by Digitamamon's Cafe. I doubt Razuko will mind if we special order a couple loaves of Guilmon bread while we're there."
Airu peeked out from behind Yuu, still visibly pouting about her encounter with Roveth. "How come nobody cares that she's taking someone else's digimon."
"Maybe it's because she asked first," Yuu stated simply.
"Besides, bribing Guilmon to help out has nothing to do with trying to steal him from his hunter," added Kiriha.
"Crystal is using the promise of Guilmon bread to motivate him so he won't lose focus," Taiki explained.
"And if there's anyone who can get Guilmon bread behind Shiro's back, it'd be Crystal," added Zapmon. "She doesn't make empty promises when it comes to food."

Shiro naturally frowned when he heard mention of guilmon bread as motivation, and he sighed, shaking his head while thinking with a chuckle happening physically ~of course.. i guess i'll never get Guilmon weaned off of Guilmon bread.~
Guilmon blinked, and blinked again, before smiling widely, nodding eargly "sounds great Crystalmon!" he said, while moving to get to work on creating that hole for Crystal, making it deep enough to definately wade in easily, though with that kind of motivation he -could- make a freaking swimming pool if he wanted and all, but that'd take more time than it was worth.
Roveth just listened in on the conversation idly while shrugging a bit idly leanign against Jake's shoulder chuckling a bit "she asked to borrow Guilmon, not take, silly girl." he said, while smirking "unlike the times i snatched digimon out from under yours and el-shrimpo's noses.. now THAT would be technically considered stealing." he said while nodding a bit ~though so would swiping that Mugendramon as well from Ren's Xros Loader, i call it incentive to keep Milleniumon from being formed.~
Jake of course sweatdropped, and shook his head "too true, Crystal, i've had my fair share of problems of demolished sandcastles, wether by the tide, or by bullies."

Roveth of course just sat at the edge in a beach chair suntanning, while Shiro had been busy since it was getting lower in the sunlight, to let the Renamonz out after switchingo ut Ranamon and Kudamon, when the Tonosama Gekomon showed up and his DJ followers, Shiro just deadpanned at the noise and such "nothing against heavy metal, but this is as bad if not worse than that Trio of Etemon we always had to chase away from Digitamamon's joint to get some freaking Peace and Quiet." he said, lightly, while guilmon just blinked innocently "what's that cool music?" cue facevault here.
Roveth of course pretty much flicked up his shades to look at the oncoming gekomons and all frowning a bit before looking to Shiro "Oi, Baka hikari. plan to go dealing with them before they cause too much of a ruckus for Nene's concert?"
Jake of course was snoozing on a sand dune, nothing new, since it was getting tiring, and keepign Lemina from overdoing things with her damn schemes wore him out more than anything.

Shiro must have jinxed it because there, among the DJ Gekomonz, was the aforementioned trio of Etemonz contributing their special brand of awful vocals to go along with the overly loud music. Considering how bad it sounded, it was likely that the Etemonz were working off of a completely different set list than DJ Tonosama Gekomon and the DJ Gekomonz. Somehow, this didn't seem to upset either party as they just went right on doing what they were doing without any regard to the other.
"How the heck did they even find us?" Crystal winced and immediately covered her ears to block out at least some of the noise. "Because I doubt even Nene would have invited digimon this obnoxious just to mess with us."
"Besides that," added Taiki. "If we don't chase these guys off the beach, there's a good chance that they might scare off Nene's fans and ruin the concert."
"It almost seems like a setup when you put it like that," noted Kiriha.
"Then I guess we'd better be sure to stop them," Crystal finished.
Suffice to say, Tagiru had been the first to rush off into battle attempting to sic Arresterdramon on the crowd of excessively noisy digimon musicians only to have his partner end up writhing on the sand from the sheer pressure of their music based attacks. This earned him a sweatdrop and a sigh of disapproval from Yuu.
"He still doesn't get that he can't just rush headlong into battle expecting to win," Yuu shook his head and sent out Damemon so he could join up with the others. "Against this kind of an enemy we're going to need to come up with some kind of a plan."
As was typical, Ryouma decided to hang back to analyze the enemy while watching from a safe distance. Not that he necessarily had any digimon that might actually be capable of breaking through such strong sound based attacks. In which case, it would be smarter for him to just stay out of the way until the fighting was finished.
In this instance, Kiriha decided to make use of his Cyberdramon. Taiki was, rather predictably, relying on Shoutmon. Meanwhile, it actually occurred to Zenjirou that it might be smart to utilize BalliBastemon in this situation.
"Don't expect for me to be sitting this one out," Zapmon tossed Crystal her Xros Loader.
Crystal caught it reflexively and immediately spun the dial to the desired digimon that had come to mind. "Of course not. Zapmon, Kapurimon, Digi Xros!"
"Digi Xros!" Zapmon gained Kapurimon's metallic helmet as well as the lesser digimon's bushy blue and white striped tail. "Metal Zapmon!"
Ren raised an eyebrow at the unimpressive form. "How do you even expect to win with a form like that?"
Crystal shrugged. "Our job isn't to win. We just have to buy enough time for someone else to find an opening."
"Counter Resonance!" Metal Zapmon generated a resonance between its two horns creating a sound wave that would temporarily disrupt the sound based attacks of DJ Tonosama Gekomon and the DJ Gekomonz, rendering some of the DJ Gekomonz and one of the Etemon trio momentarily paralyzed in the process.

Shiro of course had watched everyone counter the sound-based assaults and such, nodding a bit as Kudamon went back into the Xros Loader along with guilmon, as he smiled "Reload, Renamonz!" he called out, bringing out the 9 foxy digimon, of course they quickly surrounded and nuzzled Shiro a bit before getting out into the field as well, jumping up to unleash a nice hailstorm of "Diamond Storm!" to unleash onto the DJ group, and a few aiming for the Etemon Trio's shades as well to show their own annoyance.
the Etemon of course nearly lost their shades, but managed to dodge, and one jumped up beginning to throw black orbs of energy at the Renamonz to knock em back, or delete them one for dissing their music "Kuuchu Dark Spirits, OW BABY~!" of course, the orbs lambasted the Renamonz and knocked them back as shiro cought the few unable to get their footing back, before frowning a bit at them "hmm.. looks like we need to go a bit more against these guys.." he mumbled, pulling out a card as Ranamon spotted it with a raised eyebrow "you sure you want to up the ante this time?" Shiro nodded lightly "since they're registered as a group, it'll affect all of them.. i have an idea." of course he gave a smile, one that would belie a bit of mischeviousness as he called out "Kaaaaadou SLASH! Evolution Plug-in E, Hatsudo!" he called, unleashing the golden energy from the slashed Xros Loader onto the Renamonz
"Renamonz.. Shinka!" was called, as the digi-eggs enveloped them in the similar style as Digimon Tamers, literally tearing their data apart and rebuilding it around the rapidly changing wire frames within before all 9 Exploded otuwards, with the newly evolved Kyuubimonz flaring their tails around and getting into place "Kyuubimonz!" was the finished call, as Shiro nodded a bit "next.. for Accel Digi-Xros!" he called out,, the Renamonz glowing as responding for the soon to come Digi-Xros.
Shiro had jumped into the background as he waved the Xros Loader in front of him, bringing up the 9 Kyuubimonz in separate actual discs of info on each one "Kyuubimonz... Digi-Xros, ACCEL!" he shouted, the energy starting to gather and bring together the 9 Kyuubimonz, forming them into 3 data discs with Taomon on it, and then merging together into forming Sakuyamon, on the outside 8 of them had jumped upwards, starting to form golden rings as the 9th Kyuubimon had launched upwards through the rings, after the first two becoming Taomon, before going through the other 6 breaking apart with a 'Haaa~!' on her voice, before a shine of bright light and energy launched through, and Sakuyamon landed on the water "Xros-Accel... Sakuyamon!" she called out, the oddities of the Xros compared to the normal evolution, is that the staff was silver, and Sakuyamon actually looked a bit more thinner and slimmer, more along the lines for speed than the extra power, like a true fox, agility over raw power.
Shiro of course looked to Sakuyamon whose Masked face nodded as she jumped forward unleashing blazes that started to turn into fox-like shapes "Izuna!" she called out, using her staff to direct the fox-spirits right to attack the DJ and Etemon groups. Shiro himself was taking deep breaths as his face had some light sweat ~damn... Accel-Xros is still stamina intensive.. hopefully this will be all we need...~ he thought.
Roveth meanwhile? was currently lounging in his beach chair while actually ignoring the entire mess going on, well, that, and having one foot decidedly on Jake's back to keep him from summoning anything as well, given he had swiped Jake's Xros Loader "let's leave the others to it, we're not that needed right now, besides, your Xros's at this point would be overkill."

Shiro had noticed the fact that Zapmon was narked off, and decided to kick it up a notch as well, nodding to Ranamon who disappeared back into the Xros Loader, as well as Guilmon who had dived in just seconds before the Sonic Blaster rang through the area. of course, with that Shiro held out the Xros Loader smiling a bit "Reload,Dorulumon!!" he called out, the drill warrior landing on all fours and looking about curiously at all the ruckus "hmm? seems you're getting into some trouble again?" Shiro of course idly raised an eyebrow "nahh, just some party crashers with bad music. wanna at least give Sakuyamon a dance routine to put them in place?" Dorulumon grinned seeing Shiro obviously had an idea "why not? this should be amusing enough... i have been getting lax lately." with that, Shiro flicked out the data screens of Sakuyamon and Dorulumon "Dorulumon, Sakuyamon, Digi-Xros!" of course, the two launched upwards into balls of light, bouncing off each other before merging to form an entirely new form, which had the look of a mecha girl, so to speak, Sakuyamon's mask having been changed into a mane-like helmet with Dorulumon's headgear being used as a 'blinder' of sorts, covering most of the female digimon's face, while the gloves and golden armor were replaced with white bestial like armor, claws added in connected to the feet, as well as folding back claw-like gauntlets on the front, the monk staff switching into that of a pure white handled partisan of sorts, forming a nice sized golden drill at the tip of it, runes encrusted on the drill bit as it spun while Sakuyamon did some decent dance moves while spinning the new partisan staff "Doru Sakuyamon!" she called out, while somehow spotlights out of nowhere (i blame a fly-by from Metal Birdramon using flood-lamps to do spotlighting.) to land on the new digimon, before she jumped into action to help fight with Queen Chessmon "Drill Thruster, Seismic harmony Dance!" she intoned, using the music/sound attacks from everyone to weave her own dance routine, which held slight tremors with each step, thrusting the Drill partisan which the drill bit was spinning at high speeds, right into DJ Tonosama Gekomon's body, while Shiro merely waited nearby, idly collecting what he could of the DJ Gekomon group, and trying of course to 'catch' those pesky damned Etemon as well for a capture.

"Grand Cricket!" Queen Chessmon brought the hammer end of the Queen Stick down upon DJ Tonosama Gekomon alongside Doru Sakuyamon's Drill Partisan so that both attacks would impact with the overgrown lizard's body at the same time, effectively piercing into his body and fracturing the structural integrity of his external data simultaneously. Of course, once the two massively overpowered digimon eventually withdrew their weapons they would find that rather than becoming captured as expected, DJ Tonosama Gekomon vanished from the scene along with his DJ Gekomon followers into an as of yet undetected Xros Loader. Shiro was still successful at capturing the Etemon trio, however, as they had been acting of their own volition even if it did happen to coincide with the sound based assault from DJ Tonosama Gekomon and the DJ Gekomonz.
Seeing this caused Crystal to groan audibly. "Don't tell me somebody was actually controlling those guys..."
"Alright, then I won't tell you," Zenjirou chimed in most unhelpfully.
"Still, those guys didn't seem particularly strong," observed Akari who had very understandably decided to sit this one out on account of the fact that Dorulumon's wind-based and direct attacks wouldn't have had much use in getting past the nearly impenetrable wall of sound that had surrounded the enemy digimon. Of course, it was mainly because Dorulumon himself had determined that it was pointless for him to get involved when there were so many other capable digimon around that could handle it. As such, he was taking the opportunity to lounge around on the beach with Cutemon and napping to his heart's content.
"Digimon like those are often quite frail once you manage to break past their defenses," Ryouma observed as he made his way over now that the fighting was over to applaud the victory.
Ren was eying Crystal warily. "I thought you said you weren't interested in winning."
Crystal shrugged indifferently. "I don't, but Zapmon is another story. She'd never let me live it down if I didn't give it everything I've got and she's my partner so I'd rather avoid having to be lectured about how I don't always have to hold back."
"But the question is who sent those digimon to attack in the first place?" noted Kiriha glancing at Nene who had become visibly nervous. "You knew something like this would happen, didn't you? That's why you made such a point of making sure to invite everybody here for your concert."
"And wouldn't that mean that something like this has happened before?" added Taiki.
Shiro, of course, would be able to detect traces of a familiar aura he had encountered once before. An aura that could be traced back to Lilithmon.

Shiro had frowned a bit lightly while having noticed the faint aura in the air, sure enough, his time in the Dark Area gave him the capability to learn the auras of the dark digimon of this realm, and for him to feel a familiar aura meant he was on guard, and idly Xros-Open'ed Doru Sakuyamon back into the Renamonz gang and Dorulumon before getting nuzzled by them, and Dorulumon himself jumping into the Xros loader again as he sighed "this is weird... i don't know why.." he mumbled to himself while hugging the Renamonz he could, much to the ire of Ranamon, Kudamon, and Coronamon as well.
Roveth raised an eyebrow lightly "why do you say that, Shiro-bozu?" he called out, while letting Jake up and tossing him his Xros Loader, as he dusted off his body from sand.
Shiro had narrowed his eyes lightly to the remaining aura as it vanished "for some reason i'm picking up the faint traces of Lilithmon's aura in the area." he said, causing the renamonz to bristle, but just continued snuggling against their foxy boy and all.

Lilithmon's fading aura could be traced to a busty dark-haired older woman in a tight fitting business suit and high end designer sunglasses. She was walking away from the scene at a brisk pace with a pale green Xros Loader in hand from which the familiar voice of Blastmon emanated declaring, "But Lili-tan, I wanted to stay for a snow cone!"
"Quiet," Lilithmon hissed down at him. "You're going to get us caught!"
Crystal rubbed her temples in frustration before snatching up a beach ball and flinging it at the retreating woman whom she had correctly deduced to be the human incarnation of Lilithmon after hearing that oh-so-familiar voice. "Just who do you think you're fooling in that getup?!"
The woman continued to feign denial as she recovered from being struck by the projectile beach ball. "What rude children."
"Whatever, it's not like she'd be any match for us if that's the best she could do," Crystal sighed and flopped down on the sand.
"Not much really bothers you, does it?" Ren found that he was becoming increasingly wary of the girl although he couldn't fully understand why.
"There's no point in worrying over something that's outside of my control," Crystal shrugged. She sat up, propping herself up on her elbows to glance over at Nene. "But I would like to know why the heck Lilithmon would be wanting to screw with you here in the human world. That part doesn't make a whole lot of sense."
"Perhaps she still holds a grudge from being defeated in the digital world," suggested Ryouma.
"If that's the case, then she picked out a pretty strange outlet for taking out her revenge," noted Kiriha.
"Not that Lilithmon was ever particularly rational about that sort of thing," remarked Beezlebumon. He knew that from personal experience.
"Are we really just going to let her get away?" Yuu sounded skeptical about the idea. "I mean, what if she comes back with reinforcements?"
"Relax," Crystal flopped back down on the sand. "I doubt Shiro is going to let that happen. So, like I said before, why worry?"
Kiriha raised an eyebrow. "Since when do you let Shiro fight your battles for you?"
"For one thing," Crystal replied evenly. "It's not my battle. And for another, I really don't feel like running after anyone while I'm dressed like this."
She was, of course, referring to the silver bikini she had been forced into wearing after Nene's Marine Devimon had completely ruined her other, much more practical, swimsuit.
"She has a point," Taiki had to agree. There probably wasn't any reason to go chasing after Lilithmon. Since she was already on the run, that probably meant that she didn't have any other options for the time being.
"So, while Shiro's on clean-up, how about the rest of us grab a quick bite to eat," Crystal suggested once again springing onto her feet. "Reacting to a sneak attack like that is pretty hungry work."

Shiro just watched as the woman left, though he wasn't the type to let things go that easily, especially since it involved a Digimon that had apparently reincarnated as a human, and of course, hearing Blastmon's familiar voice as well just clinched it, his curiosity was piqued, very much so, he then whispered into the Renamonz ears as they seemed to pout, but understood as they loaded back into the Xros Loader, and of course, with the minor bit of control over his Youki he had he used it to make a small illusion of invisibility and lightly walked off, disappearing as if he was a ghost, to go 'deal' with this right quick, as Crystal said, even though this was more Roveth's thing than his own.
Roveth meanwhile spoke up lightly with a snort "you kidding me? Shiro may be the clean-up crew part of the time, but i'm usually the one who does the sil--" of course, he was cut off by seeing a lack of Shiro, and actually raised an eyebrow "... huh. well i'll be damned. he actually managed to get away without me noticing."
Jake of course just rolled his eyes lightly and glared at Roveth "were you -really- paying attention at all Roveth?" he decided to ask, while there were snickers coming from Jake's Xros Loader in the meanwhile.
Roveth just glared back at Jake with an annoyed scoff on his breath "of course i was, why wouldn't i have been?" he asked of course Roveth had also noticed the aura from Lilithmon, but had not recognized it, though Crystal seeming to recognize the aura meant it was probably a former enemy and all when she was here without them and all. "well, meh. anyway, Shiro's handling it, so let's leave it be."
Shiro of course would be following in a casual manner, using what stealth tricks he could he picked up from Roveth to follow, thankful for Blastmon's whining to Lilithmon/Lili-tan distracting her a bit, while he kept his Xros Loader ready, as well as his own digital energy, just in case he needed to fight at a split second's notice.

The woman in question kept right on walking until she reached a black limousine parked by the curb of the parking lot on the edge of the beach. She waited until the rear passenger door swung open, seemingly on its own, and quickly ducked into the vehicle. The door swung shut and then a split second later the limousine was speeding away from the beach. Well, okay, it wasn't actually speeding so much as it was cruising away at the legal speed limit, but the fact remains that it was still moving faster than Shiro could consistently travel on foot. Unless he had another trick up his sleeve, he would lose sight of the vehicle before too long.
Zapmon and several of the other digimon had settled into having a noisy little pizza party at the beach at Crystal's expense, not that the girl really seemed to mind. Nene had to leave to get prepped for the concert that was scheduled to begin in another hour or so, leaving the others to wait it out until the show was ready to start. And, for the most part, they seemed to be going along with Crystal's suggestion about grabbing a bite to eat. It would only become harder to secure food and drinks with Nene's fans steadily crowding onto the beach. Rather than returning to his own accommodations on the beach, Ryouma seemed set on inviting himself to tag along with Taiki and the rest of his group. Ren wasn't particularly happy about this since he would have felt more comfortable getting the hell away from some of these lunatics, but he wasn't really inclined to ditch Ryouma like that so it looked like he was going to be stuck with them.
"Just for the record," Crystal spoke up while eying Tagiru who was busily stuffing his face. "I'm not treating him."

Roveth of course just sighed as he shook his head a bit lightly, proceeding to get himself a hot dog or two, those usually worked for him at least. and some Pizza for Dracmon, who was now out and wanting food. Jake meanwhile had decided to let back out Lemina and Lucia, who had turned into their human forms, and went off to get food, while he himself kept out of things in general "don't worry Crystal, i'll pay half of Tagiru's tab, so long as he can pay for the rest." he said lightly with a smile and all... yeah, Jake's too nice sometimes.
Shiro meanwhile had frowned, coming out of the shadows as the limo drove off, shrugging a bit as he sighed "Hmm.. should've confronted her... ah well. i doubt this is the last we'll see of those two." he mumbled to himself, lightly picking up a rock and tossing it up into the air lightly, before the Renamonz came out, and they disappeared in a quick fading shimmer, the rock hitting the ground with a small clatter as the 9 fox digimon and 1 Kitsune hybrid headed back under invisibility back to the beach.
