I know he'd want to(but then be like 'ogod stalker is here' at Kashi; ps then Lifen saw it at a meeting and secretly shipped it), but he probably won't realize there is likely a board or something somewhere to look at anytime soon. So to move things along a brief meeting of some sort?

He'll realize he might have things in common with other students. Many yays were had. At least it's a uh... good social aspect. IT WILL BE GOOD FOR HIM TO GET OUT.
neutral tl;dr : I'd like to join when my character learns there is such a club, because he likes tea and it would be of personal interest for him.
PS: If he does join he can try to help out? If anything he's got a good fake smile. Politicians son. Can smile like an angel while selling things. Just don't expect him to make general small talk. He an ICly also help with prep if the biscuits are in little ribbon bags. He is pro at tying little cords and ribbons quickly. Something about doing it all the time... ...but he'd properly agree to help and later realize it might not have been his wisest choice. TOO LATE.
