"I just don't think he's worthy to father your kids, though I guess who am I to talk? Not like you want anything to do with me, you obviously just think I am this big a*****e. Why do you even get involved with me?" on the surface his voice was sarcastic and biting but underneath there was a base of sincerity to his self pity. "My son made his decision and my loyalty lies with my clan, he wants to live his own life so he can go do that" he said with an edge of sadness. This time around most of his anger had faded into sadness.

This time around most of his anger had faded into sadness. "Razi..." His sadness bothers her humane side. "Why again? You have yet to say why you care or why he's not worthy. Why the hell do you think I don't want anything to do with you? I care about your freaking relationship with your kids for god sake. You can be loyal to your clan without disowning him. It's not like he's joining a rival clan. According to him he wants nothing to do with any clan. I wonder why. Not like ours is welcoming."

Razi looked up at her "because he just isn't... I don't know I just don't think he will make you happy and therefore isn't worthy to father your children. I guess..... I just want you to be happy and I don't see him doing that." he looked away at the mention of his son "he doesn't want anything to do with the clan and the clan is pretty much every part of me so he has no desire to have anything to do with me. It really isn't anything you can help Dusk he told her looking around the forest before finally settling his gaze back on Dusk.

"I sure as hell can try. For what it's worth he was pissed you disowned him. But you two are so damn stubborn and hardheaded it's hard to get anything through to either of you." Throwing her arm up, she falls backwards- accidentally falling onto him. Something in her feels different. With Quinn it was all about reproducing. But Razi made her comfortable, when he wasn't pissing her off.

Normally he would have minded but the contact was making him feel better. Instead of pushing her away he sighs and goes to stroke her hair. "You really should be a little more careful de-" he caught himself and bit his lip.

I think if you wanted to kill me it would have been when pissed not now." It' just now that the de- registers with her. "What were you going to say?"

He sighed pulling his hand back "I wouldn't hurt you, no matter what the circumstance" he said calmly. "Nothings into me" he said defensiveness creeping into his voice ever so slightly. He had hoped that she wouldn't hear him but of course thats not how it happened. "I wasn't saying anything" he said trying to sweep the slip up under the rug.

Now her jealousy is spiking.

Looking down at her he said "well if you don't want it to mean anything than why is it so important for you to find it out?" he asked, he really didn't want to say anything until he got at least some semblance of a hint that this would be ok. "No I promise you, I'm not that good with girls anyway" told her nervously.

Dusk snorts at the last part. "You managed to get Enoch's daughter. Sounds pretty good with women to me." Nestling down a bit she responds to the rest. "It' not important to me. I'm just curious. You started to say something for a reason, then stopped for a reason. Must be big to hide it from me." Suddenly all of his behaviors and the fighting hits her, finally. She also realizes he was being jealous before. Shifting to face him she tilts her head a bit. "You don't like Quinn because I picked him and didn't chase you. Was that your problem? You want my young to be yours? Not that you ever said it, but acted..." Trailing off she watches him. "What were you going to call me?"

"Well I guess that was just a fluke thing, they aren't really interested in staying around so it really doesn't matter." he said trying to brush that off, other ladies weren't on the top of his list with things to talk about with Dusk. As she spoke Razi knew everything she was saying is true, at this point she knew everything, he could only confirm her statement with a slight nod. He also knew that it couldn't get any worse for him he came out and said it. "I slipped up and almost called you dear" he said nervously trying to read her face for her reaction. "I'm sorry it's not fair to you, your not mine and I know it" he said. He didn't know what to expect from this point on, he knew he put everything into her hands and waited for her reaction.

"I would be." Dusk's hand flies to her mouth as she says it. Feelings like she has, she's been told they're not suppose to have. She's so confused. "It matters to me if you have other girls. Dear..." Sitting up she smiles at him. "No, hiding it from me was unfair. Making me feel like an idiot for not seeing all of this sooner is unfair. I wouldn't mind if you called me dear..."

Razi looked back at her shocked, hearing her call him dear was such a strange feeling to him but it was good. "I don't want other girls" he finally said to her sincerely. "I'm sorry" told her and he did really mean it "I don't think your an idiot, I wasn't to clear" he said. He had a feeling that if anytime was right to ask her it would be now. "This might be a little weird for me to ask you, but would you mind being my mate?" he could barely look at her he was so nervous as to what her answer would be.
