Midnight watched boredly and sighed alittle to herself. She made sure that Zarin couldn't hear her. She layed on her back as she watched them wishing she had something to do. She was amazed at how long this was taking. It normally didn't take this long for Zarin to train the newbies since by now they were on break.

Zarin smiled to himself. Seems like they are actually following my advice today. Zarin decided to go on the offensive. He swing his wooden sword into the leg of the first rookie, which then toppled the other two like dominoes. "I win."

Midnight was curled up beside a haystack and was asleep. Though she was hungry she knew better than to disturb Zarin when he was teaching the rookies. She was so cute right now. Her tail curled around her and her head on her tail she looked like a ball with blue stripes. She was dreaming of Zarin spending time with her and was growling cutely like she usually did when she was playing with Zarin

Zarin walked over to one of the benches and tossed the rookies some towels. "Go inside and get washed off. You'll need to clean your weapons and be ready for hunting." The rookies left and Zarin went over to Midnight and smiled as he saw that she was sleeping.

Midnight then woke up when she heard Zarin's footsteps. She yawned and smiled up at him as she went over to him and jumped onto his leg. being the size of a human baby she was easy to pick up. But she was gaining weight as she grew since she was going to be the size of a medium sized car when she was fully grown.

Zarin smiled as he picked her up. "How about we go see the mage?" Once a week since the day that Zarin had found her, Zarin had been taking her to the guild's mage who had been helping Midnight by increasing her strength using special incenses that would restore her magical power over time.

Midnight nodded and climbed onto his shoulder. THen once they found the mage she scurried over to him as fast as she could and tugged on his robe to get his attention. He was like her uncle in a way since he and Zarin were like family after Zarin found Midnight.
