I currently own and co-own six Soquilis - this is my CO-OWNERSHIP AGREEMENT as a sort of release and permission for those co-owners to RP and enter the horses in breeding raffles if they wish for the following horses:
N a m e: Nita Tohbi (White Bear) P r o n u n c i a t i o n: Nih-tah Toh-bee (Let me know if I'm wrong. Haha.) N a t i o n a l i t y: My slight adaptation of Choctaw. C r e a t i o n M y t h: Just for kicks and giggles. G e n d e r: Female A g e: 20 years H e i g h t: 5 feet, 7 inches H i s t o r y: She was born into the bear clan of her people. Though she was proud of her totem and her people, she came to the Kawani lands to pursue her own life and adventures separate from her clan. She decided to make a teepee for ease of traveling, departing from her family's traditional and more permanent mound building. P e r s o n a l i t y: Nita is very independent and optimistic. She is very adventurous, exploring and always moving. She rarely stays in one place for long, but revisits her spot in a clearing annually to catch up with her Soquili friends and to take a break from traveling. She is extremely protective and caring for animals and is always willing to help them, take them in, or nurse them back to health. L i k e s: Tracking, exploring, racing, animals D i s l i k e s: Being tied down, sleeping, bathing S o q u i l i T i e s: Nita cares for Erie the buffalo. She is very caring for any Soquili who come her way and she enjoys assisting them and going on adventures with them. T r a v e l: Though she typically roams around, she always returns to the plains to set up her teepee. The plains are somewhat close to the Kawani Village.
One foot in front of the other, Nita Tohbi crouched close to the earth, examining a set of large tracks. Fresh, not too deep, close together. The animal had walked this way not too long ago. She'd seen a hoof print such as this before, but not in a long time. It was like a deer's, but wider, larger, and rounder. Buffalo. She had no interest in pursuing it for dinner, only to see the beauty of such a large beast once more.
She looked up from the ground and upon seeing another set of tracks up ahead she grinned and took off running in the direction they were going. "Where are you buffalo?" she shouted and whooped, ruining any chances of finding it. She always seemed to scare things away. She had the smell of salty body odor and she was always so loud. Her clan had made fun of her for this, and she had never been allowed to go on hunts during hunting season because she was so noisy and fussy. Surely her hollering had scared the poor animal away this time too, but she kept running all the same. She didn't get too far, though, before smashing headlong into the side of something large and furry. She landed right on her behind in the grass, pebbles, and dirt of the earth. She looked up in amazement at the buffalo, the wind half knocked out of her.
"Oh. I'm sorry, buffalo," she said when she had finally caught her breath. She was surprised the beast hadn't run away in fear yet.
"That's alright," a low and rumbling, but friendly voice said. Nita looked around. Was that the buffalo who had spoken? She should have been more surprised, but she wasn't.
"What are you doing out here?" she asked it, looking around for a herd curiously. She finally focused on the buffalo, light in color with some darker brown around his neck, and blue hooves. Blue hooves? Hmm. She smiled at him and rubbed where she had run into his side. She wasn't worried about him attacking her, after all, he had said it was alright.
He shied away from her slightly, but was soothed by the stroke of her hand on his side. "I'm just wandering around. Makin my way towards some water," he said, nodding his head and looking at the tiny two-legger beside him. "What's your name, miss?" he asked shyly.
She grinned up at him proudly, putting her hands on her hips and taking an incredulous stance. "Nita Tohbi! Member of the bear clan, explorer and adventurer!" she shouted out, her grin widening. She stuck out a hand to shake, and then remembered that he didn't have hands, and returned to patting his side lightly. "What's your name?" she asked, more quietly this time.
He laughed heartily at the feisty two-legger. "My name's Erie," he said, "What are you doing out this way?" He turned to face her so that he could inspect her further. His nose filled with the slight stink of unwashed human, and the braid in her hair was knotted and uncared for, but he knew right away that he liked this two-legger.
"I'm tracking!" she said with another toothy grin. "And I'm trying to find a place to set up camp for a little while. Gotta rest soon," she added, looking around for her pack. Darnit. She had left it behind when she took off running. She looked back at her footprints, aligned with that of the buffalo's. "Would you like to help me, Erie?" she asked.
"I'd love to, miss Nita," the buffalo replied, nodding his great head and smiling.
She led him back to where her pack lay waiting containing her teepee supplies which were all bundled and folded. She unrolled it and shook it, and began to set it up, right there in the clearing. Erie helped her reach by lifting her up, and helped hold things down when necessary.
At the end of the day, when all of the work was done, Nita made a campfire and giggled when Erie sat next to it awkwardly. He looked almost human. She roasted some nuts she had found, and sat next to him, patting his side and drifting off to sleep. Later, he carried her to the teepee and said goodnight, and curled up at the entrance, near the warmth of the fire and fell asleep himself.
The conversation with the buffalo led to a fantastic friendship. Nita Tohbi found her exploring companion and helper, and Erie found his best friend.

"Pandah has put a lot of effort into her teepee this month. It is well organized, the graphics are simple but effective and there is everything you could possibly want to know about her three stallions. I enjoyed reading some of the quirks and details of her characters, and can't wait to see more of them in the future. Keep up the hard work!"
