Sera felt uneasy, she didn't like crowded places... Or could it be something else?
After she greeted her friends. The one that forced her to come. She was introduced to the John guy. Sera got a closer look at him. The man was wearing "normal" clothes but the exception of his belt, it is a popular brand, one that Sera is also a regular customer. Definitely unfitting for a person owning a small cottage.
The John guy is suspicious. Is she going to get into another mess?

((I have a couple of ideas. I already sent out a warning to them))
"It looks like you might be here a while." Jake almost jumped when he heard the unwelcomed voice. The only thing that kept him from doing so was centeries of training. "Yeah well it isn't very surprising seeing as to how John here decided to throw a party. Almost as if he knew I would choose today to get him. I mean just look at the way he stays in the center of the crowd instead of walking around conversing to the people on the outside as well." Jake said quietly. He did notice that John seemed to go out of his way to make sure that he stayed in the middle of things instead of going to the outskirts to see if any new guests arrived. "Maybe he caught wind of you and took precautions." Tank said. Jake knew that Tank wasn't really their. That he was just another hallucination, but he welcomed it anyway. He missed tank sorely since having lost him... "Yeah well if he keeps this up much longer and I'm just gunna have to say screw secrecy and charge right into the thick of things." Jake said starting to get annoyed with John for ruining Jake's brilliant plan.

((thanks for the pm, didn't realize you opened it))
Raven strode through the trees, always keeping in the shadows and picking out the best places to place her feet so she didn't make a sound. An oppurtunity had presented itself to her. A guy named John who owns a cottage is throwing a big party tonight. A friend of hers tipped her off about how he's really rich. She could really use some extra cash to help her get ahold of some rare books and spells. She found the cottage but kept her distance. Her night vision allowed her to see everything that was going on. There were two other guys watching the cottage but they didn't seem to notice her and she didn't really care. All she cared about was finding John's stash, confiscating some of it and then leaving.

She is going to leave this place.
Sera felt even more uneasy when she heard the guys full name. John White. The rich mortal, who supplies the immortals with weapons and information. Dangerous guy, but he is quite useful. A scheme appeared in her mind, by killing this person, she can make most of the immortals paralyzed losing the source of information and weapons. No one will get in her way. Oh, after killing him she can animate him back up using her magic, make him spill up all the information and where he hid all his cash. Sera can remember everything perfectly anyway, there is no need for it to be written down. A cold smile appeared on her lips, but it faded away again when she remembered the other immortals. She will plan this perfectly.
Those two people near the trees, they are probably going after the John guy too. Sera isolated herself from the rest of the party. She opened her palms sending a wisp of black smoke, which looks exactly like her, she will send this form to negotiate with them. She then told her friends that she needs to go to the bathroom and went inside the house.
The smoke appeared between the two people saying "Immortals, would you like to join me in the assasination of John White?"

● ● ● ● John White...one of those familiar names thrown around when any immortal seek information at a price. Krystal was not one for parties or any social event for that matter, but this time there was no escaping this absurd event. Malik Eversteen, her supposed "master" had instructed her to attend his public party in his behalf. Krystal knew the risks of exposing herself to other immortals hovering around the venue but there was no way she could refuse an order from Malik. The last person who provoked him, had her powers subdued and was imprisoned in a torture chamber where immortals wished they could just die instead of enduring the never ending pain.
Dismissed by Malik of all duties, to attend the party, Krystal took her sweet time walking towards the lit cottage just a few meters away. Unintentionally the lake trailing downhill starts to freeze up as Krystal walked alongside the lake side. The closer she got to the cottage, more people were visible, both mortals and immortals. Krystal ignored the three strange looking immortals by a tree and entered the cottage in search for John. 'He better be here, or they will be hell to pay' she turned on her wolf senses and searched for John with her sharp sense of sight, smell and hearing. ● ● ● ●

Raven crept up to the cottage, moving silently and keeping to the shadows. She avoided the mass of people around where John was and made her way to the shadowy side of the cottage. She quietly tested the wood, trying to find any secret entrances. She sighed. John was an arrogant rich guy, but she doubted he would be stupid enough to keep his money stashed at the same location as his party. She would have to find a way to get the location out of him. She could always use her dark magic, but that would attract too much attention.
Raven closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She sensed the presense of four other immortals. Three of them were standing by a tree, one was in the cottage. Raven guessed that the three by the tree were just assassins because they hadn't approached the cottage yet. The one inside, however, could be one of the immortals that John supplies information to. That immortal might know where John's stash is.
Raven stood up and tried to make herself look as natural as possible. She approached the party and no one took notice of her. So far so good. She entered the cottage and looked for the immortal that was inside somewhere.

Because of that smoke she created, it took her presence with it. No one noticed that she was in the cottage too. In the bathroom, very small to make any prominent magic circles but she has no choice. She sensed two other immortals near the cottage besides the other two besides the tree. Let the smoke negotiate by itself, there is no need for her control. First, she is going to put every mortal to sleep, by then the two other immortals should hunt her down. While she distracts them with illusions and the elementals she summoned, the other two (if the negotiation is succesful) will come in to kill John. Oh, before executing her plans she needs to cut out this cottage from the rest of the world. Sera chanted in undecipherable language, cutting all the phone lines, and it started to rain heavily. Most mortals will be inside the house or leaving, this will lower any casualties. She will be so slumped after this, but consider it a small price to pay, if she doesn't get the money or the information, at least she will be able to stop those heartless immortals.

Raven shuddered uneasily. The rain was not natural but it was doing a good job at clearing out the party's guests. She wasn't sure where it was coming from, but she didn't like to be caught in the middle of things. Let the good guys and the bad guys do the fighting. She'd be there afterwards to salvage anything useful to her.
Raven put her hood back on, shadowing her face. John White's money would have to wait. She stuck to the shadows and made her way back into the forest, climbed a nearby tree and waited. Her eyes pierced the gloom and she was ready to react if someone came for her. They normally never did but it's always good to be prepared.

Hearing the drops of rain pouring down on the roof of the cottage, Krystal felt a distinct immortal presence close by, conjuring up rain from the cloudless sky and mild illusions. She could simply challenge the immortal but her better judgement suggested against it. Seeing that most of the mortal party guests were leaving the cottage, Krystal felt no urgency to follow their lead. Still conscious of the remaining immortals hovering around John's property, Krystal stayed fairly close to where John was at, watching his every move and those around him discretely.
Once all mortals outside the cottage had left, Krystal dismissed the conjured rain with a swift wave of her hand. She noticed a couple of immortals outside the cottage waiting for something to happen, not that Krystal was going to create havoc at this moment in time and especially not on one of her informant's property. The safety of John White was her priority, nothing will pass by her when she is on watch, she closely tuned in to all her senses and patiently waited for any sudden threatening movements. 'This was why Malik had me come to this party. Well he chose the right person to protect this unworthy rat'

Her conjured rain dispersed. Someone is aware of her. None coming her way.
Sera was angry, someone of equal power to her is near, very near. Sera decided to stay in the bathroom, nothing can get into her magic circle, so there was no fear. Well then, at least it dismissed most of the immortals. John is in the house, this will be easier. She is going to change this house into a nightmare, first, let the mortals go to sleep, or else they'll turn mad. This will make the enemy harder to navigate.
Sera chanted in the unknown language again, thousands of magical incantations in her head, she waved her hand and all the mortals slumped on the floor. Then, she chanted every illusion she knew, to come out.
From disgusting maggots to creatures that hasn't walked the world in ages, all of appeared. Inside the house, space was changed, as long as the magic circle is inside the house, the illusion will not break.
The monsters of illusion rampaged, she made sure for one of them took the slumping John White. The illusions are going to disappear, the immortal will definitely fight it. Tha house seems to look much more spacious, it's design and objects inside are distorted, like paintings. Sera can feel energy draining out of her, doesn't matter, she can use all of it.
Sera smiled. No one is getting out of this house especially John White.

((figured you guys didn't know. Also the other guy with Jake isn't real. Just a figment of Jake's imagination.))
Jake watched as what appeared to be at least two immortals crashed the party. "Well, I guess I should've known that I wouldn't be the only one present today." He sighed as the rain started to come down. "Well then what do you suspect we do now?" Jake turned having heard this time a female's voice where Tank was at moments ago. And in Tank's place was Sarrah, one of the first people Jake watched die in front of him. "Well how nice of you to decide to join the party." He mumbled as he watched things escelate. "I guess now we simply storm the house and hope we can beat the others to John. And, of course, by 'we' I mean 'I' seeing as to how you're not really here and, consequently, can't really help me out here." He said as he stood up, unsheathed the katana he always had on him and charged towards the house, not having even payed the slightest bit of attention to the dangers that may or may not lurk there. "I'M BATMAN!!!!" he shouted as he kicked down the doors and walked into to house, only to find it looking much more spacious than it could've been. "Damn it all why can't things every just go according to plan? Why is it everytime someone has to come along and me all like, 'Nope! Screw you we're messing things up for you." He muttered to himself as he started wandering the house looking for John White.

She can feel the immortal going into the house, if that person is going to kill John White, she might as well assist him. "Hearing me? I'm controlling the illusion here, I can help you if you're after John White." Her voice echoed throughout the house.

Jake couldn't help but jump when he heard the voice echoing through the house. "Well that's new, and pretty darn scary." He muttered to himself. He half considered accepting the offer given to him, after all if they both had the same goal in mind it couldn't do any harm right? But Jake didn't manage to live such a long life by just jumping into deals like this blindly. He needed to know all the little details first. "That depends! What's in it for you!" He shouted out not really sure if the girl, at least it sounded like a girl, that spoke earlier would be able to hear him clearly.

Raven remained crouched on a branch in a nearby tree. She sensed that the house was full of illusions, powerful illusions. It seemed as though she had picked the right time to leave. The man in the trees who she had seen earlier had entered the cottage. She heard him mention his name was "batman". "That's a rather odd thing to call yourself." Raven thought to herself. She had never heard of the classic hero as she spent all her life cut off from civilization. Raven decided to oversee what was really going on in the cottage. She muttered a few incantations and a black rat with red eyes appeared. She closed her eyes and used the rat to see. The rat entered the cottage and hid in a dark corner, taking in the scene from a safe distance.
