"Rosciel," Rosc replied after catching the other boil's murmured introduction. He stepped down from the step-ladder and picked it up to take it over to Malcolm's desk. He paused at the next comment and shrugged. He wasn't a sociable individual and he'd been off-and-on busy with other things for a while.

"I've been busy," he finally said and took the the step-ladder back.

He moved to take the step ladder back to the desk as well and nodded, sighing a little. "I see." He really did see. Rubbing his face a little, he just helped clear the room to get it looking nicer. It seemed there were still more lights to do, but were they supposed to do them? He made a questioning noise in the back of his neck and shrugged.

Uller let his ears flick this way and that again before stretching out and going to sit on one of the desks. "So... What're you?"

Both Uller and Rosciel would find themselves whacked on the back of their heads with a rolled up newspaper the moment they were back on the ground.

"I approve of helping someone out, but only if they were in real trouble," He frowned, letting out a sigh before pausing, wondering what he should do with both boils... He would have preferred them to only give help if the person receiving help had already tried to put up all the lights but failed to get them lit, "But in the spirit of Christmastival, I think I'll let it go. Congratulations. Both of you are now Knobs."

He might had attempted a thumbs up - very awkward - and a smile - also awkward - before handing his pin over.

Malcolm then turned to the other student, handing him another box, filled with Christmastival tree ornaments. He then walked over to the almost bottomless pit, stood at the edge, and whistled into it. For a few seconds, nothing happened... And then, about a minute later, several tentacles rose from the pit.

"Your job is to decorate these tentacles with the ornaments," He patted one of the tentacles, "Just hand them on the end... Although you might have to fight to keep them on. She hates having things hung on her."

-> Because you managed to pass Part 1 of the exam, your attack value is 2d8-5 instead of -6; the tentacles seem to get distracted by the flashing lights...
--> Successful attack = Decoration secured
--> Unsuccessful attack = Decoration fell into pit
-> Each time you roll - aka try to decorate - take away 5HP; the tentacles will move/wiggle/etc, thus smacking into him.
-> To pass the exam, the tentacles' HP must hit 0 before yours. If both hit 0 at the same time, it is still considered a pass.
