Would I stay straight forever. I would take it just to feel what normal is but maybe I would still feel the same way I do now.

Your not missing much. Being Straight's fun and all, but if I could chose to bisexual I would. I mean, I'm in a happy relationship right now, but when I was single I would have loved to open up my dating pool....

A question if you don't mind. "What is normal?". Normal is a false preconception placed on reality by those who dominate the main. It is a empty standard that the main population believes that everyone should be at. But my real question is this, "Why would you ever want to be normal?". Normality is so boring and plain. If everyone in this world was normal, where would the diversity be? Diversity is what makes this planet so great. Cause if everything was the same, life wouldn't be worth living.

No. I don't see being non-straight as a disease so a 'cure' is offensive to me. I don't need cured of anything so if one was offered, I'd refuse.

When I was younger, I think I would have at the very least been tempted. But now I'm fairly sure I'd refuse. I'm sure my parents (or at least my mom) would try to pressure me to do it, but my sexuality is part of me. I've grown up with it and it's definitely shaped me, I wouldn't want to just go and change that. Even though it took me a while to get to this point, I'm happy with who I am.

if i was given the option of being straight when i was a teenager i would have taken it. now i dont really care nrearly as much. yes im married to a man, but it would feel weird to not find find women attractive. the whole only liking one sex thing seems weird to me since ive never experienced it.

plus now that im out to the important members of my family and they really dont care i dont even see a reason why i would change to make them happy. and the family i have that i know wouldnt accept me im not really fond of anyways

My opinion is that it would need to be a disease before something could be a cure.
Being gay is a part of me, I'm deeply in love, and I wouldn't change anything about it.

the only reason i'd ever say yes is because it'd be easier to have kids. i always thought it would be interesting to see what having a mini-me would be like

I wouldn't take the cure, because like many people in this topic commented that there isn't anything to cure. I myself don't see an issue, and I find it offensive that people (like the last governor of Texas, Rick Perry) compare people in the LGBTQA+ community to alcoholics.

I still struggle. Not with being gay but with trying to find where I fit in. I have even changed jobs to try and find a place I can be more comfortable and myself. I wouldn't change. I feel content in who I am, even when I feel lost.
