Once the dust settled Candace shakily rose to her feet, kicking away broken pieces of chandelier while checking herself over. Cuts, scratches, a gash here and there. The fight had taken its toll, though most of the damage had not been inflicted by Shun himself. The house had done most of it...damn house.

Candace sighed, brushing dust off herself while searching for Shun. He was unconscious. Her eyes narrowed and she unsummoned Atropos, walking over to the boy and nudging his body. Nothing.

Nope.

"Tch. Pathetic."

He's given you a run for your money before. Atropos reminded with a dark chuckle.

"Not anymore." She heard a door swing open and looked behind her, spotting an open door that had not been there before. Good, she could go home.

And yes, she left Shun exactly where he was. Candace didn't find him worth the effort of moving somewhere more comfortable.
