A few years went by and it was now John 13 birthday. He was a very quiet boy. Lay in his bed because he was very tired from training. He just hugged his pillow and kept thinking about his future.  

[Strikers Daughter]

Cortona smiled as she came into the room. She then said "Master John!" Before she tackled and hugged him. She had to stay in their room all day and was always so lonely. She always did this whenever he came into the room. SHe would hide in the closet every time someone but him came into the room. She then smiled as she hugged him purring away cutely.

He slowly began to pet cortona because he know how she like to be pet and wandered what he should do. "would you like to go to school with me?" He always wandered about this? He began to hug her softly and he never focused on himself even if it was his birthday. He slowly began to give her a tummy rub.  

[Strikers Daughter]

Cortona purred as he gave her a tummy rub and she giggled. "Yes please Master John." She said and nuzzled him happy that he was her master. Then she snuggled her head under his snuggling with him.

He wandered why she was so caring toward him, he felt nothing special to her and began to wander what he should do. He just pet her and wandered what he was going to do today? "what should we do today?"

Cortona smiled and said "Can we go get something to eat? I'm hungry." She the looked at him cutely and purred as he pet her. She loved him but didn't know what she was thinking. She knew he might not feel the same about her but she knew that he cared for her.

He slowly got up and began to look around. He wandered what he should do right now. He slowly went to his door and had her on his back. He went to the kitchen and notice that his caretaker was out. He wandered where she could be. He slowly began to make lunch in the kitchen and it was fish so she could enjoy it.

Cortona smiled as she smelled the fish cooking. She then giggled as she said "Fishy?" She was trying to be cute for him. She was always trying to be cute for him since she was younger mind wise.

He slowly patted her head and began to wander what he should do. "you going to mew at me?" He slowly began to set the table and put the fish on paltes and sat down. He wandered what he was going to do about the war that was going to start soon.

"Mew!" She said and sat down at the table after she hugged him happily. She then started to eat smiling as she blew on the hot fish. She loved his cooking. Her tail wagged happily as it always did when she liked something.

He slowly began to eat his food and wandered about her since they were not the same race. He honestly did not know what she was since she was not a normal neko .He slowly began to eat and by mistake her grabbed her tail a little. He quickly let go of it.  

[Strikers Daughter]

Cortona felt him grab her tail and blushed a tiny bit. After she finished eating, she said "Mew?" Being cute again for him. Then she sat next to him and snuggled up to him.

He slowly began to hug her since she was close again. He began to wander what he would ever do with her. He slowly kissed her on the check think she desevered a treat from him. He smiled at her and than began to pet her again before going outside. He slowly went to the garden. John had a sweet side and he began to look at the roses.

Cortona giggled as they went to the garden. She loved to chase the butterflies in the garden. She giggled as one landed on her nose and she said "Looky master John." She said and looked at him with the butterfly on her nose. She giggled since it was tickling her nose with it's tongue.

He slowly watched and than sat down. He began to watch her have fun but he did not know this experience. He was so brain washed all he could think about was about being shipped away soon.
