Good Evening Gaia

*Ken enters the room cautiously, and when GL asks him to step up and play becomes rather uncomfortable with the whole idea...However, just before Ken has to make a decison and Black has made a game suggestion... Amara Strolls into the room obviously having entered unsupervised, late and seemingly slightly intoxicated*

*Ken Looks up* Amara! Wonderful. Would you be up to playing a game with our hosts, Amara?*she squnits at Ken a moment as she heads further into the room and takes a seat to once side of the gaming area, she has yet another glass with thick red liquid in it, just as she had during the show's intro though this glass is even more full. *Why Ken? Are you not up to the challenge of a little game? Or are you pissing off shadowy people again?

*Ken looks suprised at what she's just said, looks at the camera and then hisses at her under his breath.* This is a live broadcast, could you try at least a little to be friendly this evening.*Amara Ignores him completely and looks over at GL* So this is your big boy toy is it? Well it's impressive looking but, why don't you show me what it can do?

*Ken Glares at her but doesn't interrupt*

"Certainly... War of the Inakum sounds like a fine choice to me. I'll just turn off the excessive violence settings, since we're on television right now..."

*After typing a few things into the computer, Ken's world changed drastically. He found himself in a strange city that was under siege, and wearing a strange battle suit that covered his entire body. It was thin, and made of a strange black material. He also found that he now had some sort of pistol in his hands.*

*Everything was extremely realistic... the sounds, sights, and smells. An explosion shoved him to the ground... he could even feel the texture of the dirt and debris as he fell. Behind him, the wall to a building fell away as several tall alien life forms appeared. They didn't look too friendly, wearing strange black metal armor and weilding powerful looking weapons. Snarling, they began to rapidly fire shards of metal at Ken.*

*GL chuckled, and leaned back in his chair at the terminal. He neglected to tell Ken that he didn't have to worry about feeling pain or dying... he figured Mr. Watanabe would figure that out soon enough. The audience in the holo-gamer room had a great view of what Ken was experiencing. Not only did it show the entire environment around him, but also had a number of small screens showing other points of view. One was a close up of his face, which was hopefully full of panic at the moment.*

*Ken's eyes grow wide as the world appears before him, and after being thrown to the ground he looks up to see the tall aliens bearing down on him, he scrambles to his feet as they begin firing* Holy Shi....! *he is cut off as he rolls away from one of the aliens and looks around for some cover* I don't recall signing up for this! *he yells as he attempts to run away from the aliens while running he examines the pistol and turns to fire it over his left shoulder and behind him and toward the alien creatures as he runs the other way.

*As Ken is sucked into the dangerous alien world, Amara leans back in her seat to watch and as she see's him running from the aliens, she smiles obviously quite enjoying the spectacle, as Ken finally decides to try and return fire she sits back upright again to get a better view of the action*

*As several deadly rockets zip past Ken's head, and a massive tank-like vehicle emerges from a building, GL decides it's time for a change of pace.*

GL: "Oh, I'm sorry. I guess you're more into the old school arcade classics then? Just a moment..."

*Waiting until Ken was picked up by one of the alien invaders, it's sharp teeth uncomfortably close to his face, GL decided to change the simulation. Watanabe fell to the ground with a soft "thump", as the entire world faded to black. Baseball sized white spheres appeared all around him, lined up and floating in mid air. Finally, high walls emerged from the ground, glowing blue in color and providing an odd sort of neon lighting.*

GL: "So, how do you feel about Pac-Man?"

*Something huge, round, and yellow came out from around the corner and began eating the dots, making loud "Wakka" sounds as it ate... It was moving fast, and Ken was right in it's path!*

*As the life sized... no giant sized Pac man came barreling around the corner Ken becomes even more worried then he had with the alien soldiers and he begins running from the virtual sphere with all his strength and speed, looking desepately for a break in the walls.*

*As Amara sees pac-man come around the corner after a frantically running Ken and bursts out laughing uncontrolably*

*As Ken finally discovers a break in the wall and turns the corner to escape the continuous forward munching of PacMan he catches his breath and glares daggers at Amara* Oh thanks so much... I'm sure we can let you have a try later

*The massive Pac-Man skidded to a halt, much to Ken's disappointment. Slowly it turned around, until it was looking directly at him... It felt like an eternity passed, before...*

"WAAAAKKAAAAA!!!!!!"

*It rushed straight at Ken Watanabe, moving at a frightfully fast pace. Just as it was about to chomp him, the simulation completely ended.*

GL: "Hehe... and that about sums up how our Holo-Gamer works. Of course, users never have to worry about coming to harm. They're simply a combination of 3D solid holograms. Tangible, but absolutely unable to hurt you. Well, physically. So, what do you think of my arcade now, Mr. Watanabe? Plenty of "action", don't you agree?"

*He couldn't help but chuckle... it was taking all his self-control just to keep from laughing out loud!*

Velll....... *Amara stands up slightly dissapointed in ken's release from the virtual game.* I would love to see another distraction if you wouldn't mind showing us.*

*By now Ken has kind of recovered from the near pac-man assult* Um... yeah somthing else sounds wonderful *he walks away from the game as quickly as dignity will allow and heads toward the door, looking for someone to lead to a new location*

*Something rattles in the cupboards... making strange sounds, as dishes and plates are moved around. The sounds stop after a while, leaving the kitchen in spooky silence. Then unexpectedly, one of the cupboads open up and a pink blob covers Ken's head*

*as he feels the ooze on the top of his head and then everything in his vision turns pink... Ken absolutly flips out and runs around Screaming! "EEEEEEYYYYAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT IS IT?!! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFUHMEH!!!! *more running and failing arms*

*amara just laughs at Ken... laughs long and hard at ken...*

*He runs back from the other direction*

*He does jumping jacks and somehow floats upwards.*
