Zarin smiled and hugged her back. "I love you too Nikki." Then he heard the car pull up in the driveway. "How about we go help mom and dad with the groceries?"

"Sounds good." She said and held his hand as they went outside to help with the groceries. SHe held as much as she could carry each and every trip. SHe was a great helper and a sweetheart.

After they had carried in all the groceries, Zarin and Nikki started to put away the groceries. Zarin looked over a Nikki. "Do you need any help Nikki?"

Nikki nodded as she tried to reach where the salt went, "I can't reach," She said as she tried to reach the second shelf towards the top in the extra pantry. She wasn't on a step stool because she didn't knwo if they had one.

Zarin smiled. "Let help you." Zarin picked her up and held her so she could put the salt away. "This should be high enough."

Nikki giggled as he picked her up and put the salt away. "Thank you Zarin." She said before she hugged him as she came down.

Zarin smiled. "You're welcome Nikki." After they had put everything away, dinner was beginning to be made. Zarin and Nikki stayed in the living room, not wanting to get in their parents' way.

Nikki giggled as he picked her up and put the salt away. "Thank you Zarin." She said before she hugged him as she came down.

Zarin smiled. "You're welcome Nikki." After they had put everything away, dinner was beginning to be made. Zarin and Nikki stayed in the living room, not wanting to get in their parents' way.

Nikki was laughing as she played with Zarin. She loved her big brother and was making him a picture with her crayons while her stuffed kitty was beside her. She was going to surprise him with it since their parents said his birthday was coming up.

After a while, dinner was ready. Zarin, Nikki, and their parents all sat down at the dinner table and started eating. Tonight, they were having homemade chicken pot pies.

Nikki smiled as she ate. She sat next to Zarin and perked her ears listening to what was going on outside. She loved to listen to the outdoor sounds. After dinner she was hiding the picture for Zarin having finished it earlier today. She smiled as she got ready for bed and climbed into her new bed. She wasn't used to the time difference and was awake for a little while before she climbed out of bed and knocked on Zarin's door. "Zarin...you still awake?" She said quietly incase he wasn't.

After dinner she was hiding the picture for Zarin having finished it earlier today. She smiled as she got ready for bed and climbed into her new bed. She wasn't used to the time difference and was awake for a little while before she climbed out of bed and knocked on Zarin's door. "Zarin...you still awake?" She said quietly incase he wasn't.

Zarin opened his door and looked at Nikki. "Nikki, what's wrong?" Zarin had been reading a book in his bed. He was wearing a white t-shirt and loose pajama bottoms that drug on the floors. "Are you having trouble sleeping?"

"Hmh." Nikki said nodding as she looked up at Zarin. She hoped he wouldn't mind her staying with him for a bit. She was tired but couldn't sleep both because of the time difference and because she wasn't used to the house.
