"You just have to be willing to talk to people," Zuine was telling Terje when Adora had approached. Instantly she turns to the newcomer and smiles, then glances toward Terje as if Adora's arrival had proven her point exactly. Thank the Guardians for good timing. "Hello!" exclaims Zuine brightly. "Of course you're not interrupting, we love to make new friends! You're welcome to loiter about with us. I'm Zuine, and this is my brother, Terje."
"Hullo," says Terje, extending a reluctant hand. Great, he thinks, new people. Zuine was the outgoing one of the two; Terje had never felt any need or desire to meet new people. He was more than content to live his more-or-less solitary lifestyle in Telrunya City with Zuine. He liked his routine, he liked his stability. This was not stability. He glances over the pale-colored angel, trying to veil his disdain. He knows it isn't nice to judge before you get to know someone, but he can't help it. She seemed vapid. Of course, nearly everyone seemed vacuous and self-absorbed from where Terje was standing. How could she be so relentlessly pleasant to a total stranger? He shoots a look at Zuine. He knows she is only faking it, that she could be a real monster sometimes. So he assumes everyone else is too.

She gave a bit of a relieved smile when she was greeted so warmly. If she sensed any of Terje's disdain, the strawberry haired female never let it on. Ever a ray of sunshine, she took the males hand and happily shook it. "Oh I'm so glad. It's really nice to meet both of you, my name is Adora." When she let go of Terje's hand, she extended her own to Zuine. "I have a twin sister myself, unfortunately I have no clue where she is. Haven't seen her in...well, seasons to be honest." She gave a little laugh, a light, almost sweet sound. The female smoothly lifted her other hand to tuck a stray piece of wavy hair behind her ear. The unease she felt earlier seemed to melt away as the female loved company. Undoubtedly that was a trait inherited by her love fae father. "Have I missed anything exciting here yet? I know the night is still young, but I didn't arrive until after the festival opened."

She was beginning to lose hope that he would ever find her beloved flower. This one was special, as it wasn't just any lily. It was a magical lily, as she had it for as long as she could remember but never wilted. The female crossed her arms so she could rub them to try and comfort herself. What if she never found it? What would she-a delicate flower was plopped upon the pile. Her pale eyes widened and she reached down to pluck it from the pile. Lifting the flower to her nose, she closed her eyes and took a sniff. It still faintly smelled of her, as it always sat in her hair all day every day. It was her lily. Her eyes popped open to thank the male, but he was already gone. He was still trying to get her flowers! The female slowly smiled, warming up a little to the bizarre male. He tried so hard to find her flower, even after it had already been found! When he started back, she pointed to the lily in her hand and nodded. "Thank you...thank you very much." Her voice was still soft as ever, the pae as delicate as the flower in hand. "I'm...my name is Zana." Offering her name was the least she could do for the overzealous male.

Saying that Genesis did not want to be at this party was an understatement. Genesis wasn't much of a celebratory type to begin with, this added to the weight of disappointment she carried following the failed recon mission, this was probably the last thing she wanted to do. It wasn't as if she didn't want to worship the guardians, evangelizing was part of her duties and Genesis was dutiful at the very least.
Because Genesis was dutiful, shortly after the party's beginning she took the teleporter from Telrunya City to the mainland and wandered over to the party. She looked particularly stiff and uncomfortable, this was far from the secluded setting of the library and did not have the feel of a 'mission' to her. Genesis hung back, acting as more of an observer to the party, she wasn't fond of the idea of mingling. She felt her role was more of a protector then anything else, and as such her job was to watch to see if any problems arose.
Genesis looked around, narrowing her eyes at a fae and faun who were escorting each other to the party. Recent events had shown Genesis that she should be more suspicious of fae than she had previously thought. The fact that this fae was with a faun gave her plenty of reason to watch both of them closely. Her attention was then drawn to a strange... naiad? Genesis drew the conclusion that he was some sort of hybrid. Other then that, most of the pae present were blood pae or not drawing attention to themselves.

The atmosphere was festive, the weather pleasant, leaving no room for complaints. The demon had thought at first to complain about the shifting sands of the beach under his feet until he remembered what a wonderful skin exfoliate it could be. How wonderful! A festival and a foot scrub, all in one!
Moving away from the water's edge and back towards the busier part of the festival, Naveed found a booth serving drinks and waved a hand in the air to get the Pae'il's attention behind the counter. "Hello! Yes! A sparkling water, please, with a wedge of lime!" Waiting for his drink, he smiled and cast his eyes over the gathering of Pae'il. A few familiar faces from the city, yes, some of his clients in fact. Most, however, were strangers, especially the err...odd-looking ones without wings over there. Were those some of those...Faun things? Or was it a Naiad? Which ones were the ones who lived in the water again? Oh, he kept getting these things all confused.
Names were important though. They were important to Pae, therefore, important for other Pae to remember. He really needed to get this all straightened out. Maybe, meeting some of these strange, god-less primitives would help him remember which were which if he had an image to tie to the odd names. Poor things, no wonder they lived such savage lives down here on the Isle without the Guardians' kind blessings those in the City enjoyed. Oh, this little festival on the beach was nice and all, but to live down here? All the time. Ugh...it was all...nature-y. The foot scrub was nice and all, but as soon as he got home, he was going to take a nice, hot bubble bath.

Kratos alighted on the beach, his dark and sparkling wings tucking neatly behind him as his tail flickered to and fro for a moment. His equally dark gaze peered out over the rest of the crowd in search of his twin but found no sign of the lighter skinned Angel. A grunt escaped his lips in frustration. Where was that girl... "Bia...." he growled softly to himself before advancing up the beach.
She sand beneath his feet shifted with each step and his tail flicked once more. If it weren't for the fact the festival was to honor the guardians, Kratos would not have come at all. He could honor them in his own ways, somewhere away from.....others. His eyes fidgeted in their sockets as they glanced angrily around for his pale sister, only to spot strangers. This made him uncomfortable and another grunt escaped his lips.
She wasn't here. But now he was.... the least he could do was stick around for a while if not -attempt- to enjoy the festivities.
He wandered over to a booth and eyed the food. Nothing seemed appetizing to his pallet just now. Perhaps a nice strong stiff drink.... Yes that would do. Signaling the Pae behind the counter, he ordered up and awaited for it to be served to him. As he did he spied a few wingless beings, A ... fae. was it?, goddess of some sorts no doubt, other blood Pae'il, a bright purple colored demon having just got his drink and a goldish green angel looking about as stiff and uncomfortable as he did.
No Bia.
"Wonderful..."

Such beautiful weather and a lovely spot to celebrate the graciousness and care shown by the beloved Guardians. After all, who else would have granted them such a lovely day?
A soft hum on her lips, the warmly-colored angel landed lightly on the sands, then folded her feathered, crimson wings with a quiet smile. Her expression demure, but her eyes bright, she cast her gaze once more over the crowd before fixating on a pair of darker colored demons ordering drinks from a booth.
Well, a girl had to find a nice way to spend some time and have a little fun once in a while, right?
Straightening her posture, Enya sashayed over to the pair of demons with a confident swagger, positioning herself between the two with a sly grin. She then leaned in, looking first at the dark blue demon with glittering, swirled markings, then slid her gaze to the purplish demon she recognized as the masseuse from the City spa. "Well, boys," she purred with a sultry look, "Who's going to be first to order a lady a drink?"
