[ 1v1 ] Let's have a training montage. (Kettil & Riley)

[Nio Love]

Kettil clothelined her, all right. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to bring her down to the ground, which surprised her, because she'd already assessed the strength of his arms. She stumbled back, however, and grabbed the arm at her neck to twist it around his back. There she stood, her chin on his shoulder, and her hands holding his arm painfully behind his back. But she didn't let him suffer. She just set her foot on his tailbone, and sent him reeling forward with a kick.

The pain sung through his arm and he didn't even give her the satisfaction of a nice loud scream, but she did get a small grunt. He glanced over at her from the corner of his eyes as he gave a wide, trembling grin, "Glad t'see you aren't against gettin' too close."

Then as he was kicked away he stumbled forward and let out a small sound that triggered Endzela to fly on in and n** at one of Riley's tentacles. It wasn't a hard n** as the Owl didn't see fit to linger too long after getting grabbed the first time.

Riley saw the owl coming, this time around, and while she kept her face clear of the bird, she actually let it n** her tentacle, finding it just a little adorable.

Come now, Kettil. Riley purred, as she crouched back down into defensive position once more. I need to get my blood pumping. Give me a good fight.

He shook out his twisted arm to get the soreness out of it. The purr from Riley was noticed and he only gave off a short laugh, "I know a lot of ways to get the ghoul's blood pumping, but y'ain't m'wife, screechie."

Kettil turned to face her, "So you might need to settle for the hope of spillin' some of my blood, if you can manage it." And with that he was suddenly on the offensive as he rushed over toward Riley with an intent to grapple her.

Riley let Kettil wrap his arms around her, grappling her down in a strong hold. She was right - his arms were strong. But there were only two of them, after all.

Oh, that's all right. She murmured cordially. You see, shedding blood is my thing. The softest p***k on his body - almost like a bug bite, bit against his neck. If he let go of her long enough to feel it, blood would show. In fact, she was waiting for a moment just like this, a moment when he took the offensive, and tried to hold her down as she'd done to him.

This close to her wings, the crystals had begun to attack.

They creeped up on his skin in random spots, pricking and stinging and piercing more for every second he kept his arms around her. She took a deep breath, and the smell of his blood filled her lungs. Her eyes, having closed for the moment of breath, now re-opened to a deep, blood red color.

Strong arms wasn't the only thing he had. Even as she stared at him with glowing red eyes and while parts of him were being literally picked to the point he bled. He just smiled at her, "Not bad. Not bad."

Kettil tilted his head back and suddenly there was a outcry and his head shot forward with a sudden and hard headbutt as his arms moved to release her again.

His world filled with stars and red for a moment.

Endzela let out a small tsk of amusement.

Some might have considered Kettil a hard headed individual, but the poor dear had never met someone as hard headed as Riley.

Literally.

Her skull is triple plated. There was a reason she didn't really wear armor.. the real Riley was inside of her skull, protected very heavily, and.. he'd just headbutted her real armor.

She felt the sting of pain on her skin, but her head didn't actually move when he headbutted. She just watched him get knocked back.

Ow. She deadpanned, her eyes crescenting softly.

Riley can pride herself in knowing she taught Kettil something new.

Never headbutt a mindflayer ever again.

The exchange hurt him more than it hurt her and it showed the way his body bent forward and he held his head. The deadpan wasn't really met with a glare or anything from him. He knew it was his fault.

Instead he settled for a gesture which made Endzela screech and dive in for another n** at one of the mindflayer's tentacles.

At first, she was amused. But the third time he sent his owl to fight, it was clear she was no longer finding the situation admirable or even amusing. She roared as the owl screeched and tore at her face, and her tentacles reached out to wrap around the owl, pulling it away. Then she lunged for the owner, 20 tentacles and 2 arms beating down on him with every ounce of fury the muscled demon had to offer. She was not being gentle on him, anymore. She attacked like an unleashed animal, and the sounds that came from her were appropriate.

Kettil found it difficult to think very clearly considering his borderline concussion he had going but it seemed that her lunging at him with everything she had prompted him to try.

The boil found himself trying to push her back from him and eventually he had enough of that and he aimed a punch right for her throat.

It might not affect her vocals but it'd give her something to ponder for certain.

The true game had begun. She looked thrilled to finally feel a solid hit from the boil himself, and she retaliated, offering punch for punch. The pleasure and satisfaction of being in a real, hand to hand fight, was rolling off of her in waves.

Kettil took the punches in that sort of grim way that someone did when they knew they were probably going to lose unless something was done to help themselves out of their current situation.

Alas he had a headache and only himself to thank for it.

Still he gave her a nice jab to where her nose should have been if she had one.

Yes. Good. Excellent. She complimented every hit, grunting at the impact, and returning the favor with rigor. But in the end, it was a swivel kick, as she backed up just enough to twirl and land her leg on him, that would end the fight.

Too soon, for her tastes. Too soon. She wanted more.

Her hand raised, just in time to see a smear of blood on her fingertips. She couldn't tell if it was hers, or his. Her tentacles took the fingers in, sucking them clean.

There was a tremor that moved through him. If it hadn't been for his earlier miscalculation...

Maybe...

Either way the next thing he saw was black as he passed out to the floor for the time being. Endzela soon landed near him and gave a small sigh, her wings batting at his face, "Idiot." She chided at him.

"He'll probably want a rematch," she observed dryly at Riley.

Riley let out a sharp sigh, when Kettil dropped to the ground. She gave the owl a soft shrug, before bending down to her feet to start to pick him up. I'm happy to give him the chance. Anytime, anywhere. And don't worry. She hefted him over her shoulders with a grunt, and stood. This isn't the first time this week I've carried an unconscious man out of the gym.
