She giggled. "Good to know we don't need an excuse." She thought about the tour. If she was to stay with Pluto perhaps it would be wise to learn the area. "I'm pretty sure any tour will have some sort of information in it." She grinned. "I wouldn't mind a tour." So a Shrine? She thought it would be best to thank the deity for the safe flight and protection in their next one. "A quick prayer and a snack doesn't sound too bad either. Then perhaps we can think of something else to do during the tour." Or they could just curl up in the shade and cuddle.... she wouldn't mind that either... Pluto's softness was addicting.

Pluto dipping a bow and turned toward the temple. “Well for starters there are a number of outposts and many of them have spots to pray to the deities of this land. Of course this one is a shrine in and of itself and doubles as an outpost. It has to be cleaned out ever so often. Ion and Akori cleaned this one out some time ago.” He tried to think of more things on the way to the temple. “um.. The scribes keep the temples stocked or at least sort what the scouts are to bring to the temples and the shamans check them over and pray.” He looked to see if she had any questions so far.

She looked about, taking in the structure. "A Shrine, huh?" She wasn't surprised that it needed to be cleaned out. They were in a dessert and she was sure sand got in to places it wasn't supposed to. "So... Which Deity does this shrine belong to?" She stayed close to Pluto as she looked around during the tour.

Pluto wondered just how in depth he should answer her question. He was pretty good with explaining things but not like his mother Persephone. “This is the shrine of Isis who helps crops grow and the land revitalize itself.” The explanation was actually a lot more than that but he didn’t want Tirn to get bored. The inside of the shrine was actually decent temperature no matter whether it was day or night. This was one of the few times Pluto really noticed that and was glad the place was built as it was.

"How interesting." She smiled and bowed her head in the shrine. "Thank you Isis!" She only thought it polite to thank the god or goddess that a place honored. She may not follow Isis but she didn't want them mad at her for being a rude guest. Her wings shook a bit. It was rather comfortable in there. She nudged playfully at Pluto. "So, what kind of goodies are hidden in here?"

Pluto smiled warmly glad that she was honoring his land’s deity. It wasn’t needed but it was greatly appreciated. He nudged her back. “Well there is food and bedding. Several small offerings and a number of toys in a small area for kits to play with if they visit.” He shrugs. “Sorry it seems so boring but a temple is a place of worship not really meant to be to interesting, well there is a scribe wall with the stories of our people. And a room with a lot of different lotions and balms to help ease suffering. Mostly shaman’s use it.”

"Well, that is a smart idea. It seems to be a good idea if one was traveling or had to visit here often or if you happen to come across someone who needs help." She smiled at Pluto. "Its not boring to me." She stepped away from Pluto to take a closer a some of the things in the temple. "So, what is the next stop?" She was rather interested in what other things his home had to offer.

“Well to be honest I was rather thinking about that snack part of the tour I promised.” He smiled. “ Though I am pretty sure there is also a bathing area if you feel the need to get some sand off.” He figured since he hadn’t mentioned that as part of the tour itself for the shrine part he should mention it since she had brought up travelers. This outpost was small but many had pools of water for just such use.

Tirn smiled. "A snack would be delightful right now." She nodded, confirming the idea of a snack. "If I took a bath now, and we had places to go... wouldn't the sand just stick right back on me?" To her that would be pointless. Unless it meant another bath with Pluto. She had a devious smirk on her face, then remembered where she was. Perhaps it was rude to think dirty thoughts in a shrine. She wiped the smirk from her face.

“Your wish is my command.” Pluto saw her smile and watched it slide off. He wondered if it was his bad joke. He hadn’t thought it too bad but that was just him most likely. Leading her on he got back on topic. “Well it’s true that more sand would cling to you but some foxes prefer to soak or bask for a while in the water as a way to meditate or relax.” He was much more eager for food though so he didn’t mind her choice at all. His tail wagged as he lead the way.

"Oh is it?" The same smirk came back to her face and she chuckled. Then she stopped wide-eyed and wanted to bang her head into the wall. "We can always take a bath later." She was lightly blushing as she smiled back at Pluto. "Not having to worry about the sand and just relaxing would be nice."

Pluto waited patiently until his companion started to walk again. She really must be thinking about a lot of things to just stop like that. Soon enough though they were at the food stores and Pluto tugged a few baskets and carefully nudged a few jars out. The jars were far older than he was and he didn’t want to break them but inside was a sweet and wondrous treat. Honey. He liked to be able to drizzle it over nuts and fruit so perhaps taking a bath second was a great idea after all. This way he wouldn’t have to be to careful about his fur.

"What's this?" Tirnel inspected the jars. She had never seen the stuff inside. "Is this what we are having for a snack?" She sat back and waited for Pluto since she had nooo idea how to serve the stuff in the jar. Did you stick a paw in and lick it?

He smiled looking at her. “Yes it is indeed part of the snack anyway.” He snagged one of the baskets and tugged it forward revealing some dessert fruit. It was bitter by itself but when it was dipped in honey it was a perfect combination. “Take a bit of this fruit and take a bite of it first… a tiny bite. Then try it dipped in this.” He tapped a jar with a wing.

She took one of the dessert fruits and took a bite. Perhaps a bit more than she was supposed too, then recoiled from the bitter. "So... good...???" She swallowed the fruit and shuddered a bit as it went down. She then tried it with the sticky stuff. It was definitely better. The sweet balanced out the bitter and it was rather gather delicious. "Thank you, Pluto." She smiled. "W-Was that fruit supposed to be super bitter?" She twitched a little, she could still taste it in her mouth a little.
