[Inu-Mitsu]

T3 Barrier in effect!: 0/15

Again the wolf came around quicker than one could imagine, its mouth catching Shun's leg as he came to kick Mitsu. There were no teeth but there was a definite force as the wolf held him back but finally Shun's attack managed to break through, though barely.

With that last attack the shadow wolf dissipated. Mitsu tried to summon up her fear to heal herself but apparently it was far to soon to be trying that again. She should have thought this through a bit more.

Using the chill...and failing

Another fear was being called, and Shun took this time to try and interrupt her. He rushed in closer lashing out a few times.

[Inu-Mitsu]

When Shun was close enough Mitsu retaliated, lashing back with her claws once he was within range. It caused her to take a hit as well but at least she was able to connect.

[Blade Kuroda]

Her claws bit into him, though lightly. It was enough to have him try to readjust his movement some. Shun shifted his weight, then moved to try and flank her. From this position, he slashed towards her side with one of his daggers.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu gave a bit of a yelp as Shun came in again with another attack, hitting her rather firmly in the side. It was easy to tell the attacks were wearing on her, not to mention her counter attack was fairly weak.

[Blade Kuroda]

Seeing her retaliate, Shun began to move. That combined with her weak attempt, the strike had barely managed to scratch him. He let out a slow breath and jumped back to put some more distance between them. However, as he did this, he threw one of his blades at her.

[Inu-Mitsu]

The blade hit its mark, slicing into her right arm as she tried to retreat. She was starting to feel worn down and her now right arm wasn't at its best. Of course, Mitsu could still use her left but she was right handed to behind with. This was surely going to make things difficult.

Hesitant to try again Mitsu waited for a moment before she charged forward to attack. She struck out with her left hand, trying her best to protect her already damaged arm.

The light hit he took didn't phase the Reaper a whole lot. He could tell she was wearing down, but that was little reason for him to let up, himself. Shun still did not relent yet. He aimed a knee to her torso, wanting to keep in close.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu should have known better to think Shun would go easy on her. Especially as she started to falter and fail. The knee to the torso connected but thankfully Mitsu was moving back so the hit didn't completely stun her. With this close range she was able to aim another attack, clawing at his hand so that hopefully he couldn't hold his daggers as well.

Shun hissed and recoiled as she clawed one of his hands. It stung and it was probably bleeding a little, but he still had one other hand. It was with this blade that he lashed out across her chest with.

[Inu-Mitsu]

This was likely going to end soon and probably not in her favor. Mitsu needed to do something quick to at least make up for her blunders so far. She just hated to use her strength against her reaper but she could feel her body wearing down and unlike her Shun wasn't one to relent or show mercy. With that in mind, Mitsu lunged forward swinging her good arm toward her reaper's sternum in counter to the slice across her own chest.

Shun took that blow full on. With a grunt, he stumbled back and gasped for breath. The strike had knocked the wind straight out of his lungs. Coughing, as he tried to recover, he forced himself to move through this hindrance, lashing out with both blades at once.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Both blades sliced through her arms leaving her more than a little worse for wear. This was going to end very soon and in a last ditch effort Mitsu nearly threw herself forward, claws tearing at anything they could get.

Shun closed his good eye as he felt a spike of pain from Mitsu's claws tearing into his chest. Out of reflex, he lashed out one last time before staggering back.

[Inu-Mitsu]

With that last hit Mitsu had reached an end. The fatigue was too much and while she managed to stay on her feet for a few moments longer it was clear on her features that she was about to pass out. Her body had had enough and as her eyes rolled back her body gave into exhaustion and collapsed.
