A black haired boy groaned as he opened his eyes, his head pounding. He slowly pulled himself to a sitting position before patting his head lightly in several areas and checking his hands. There didn't appear to be any bleeding, always a good sign. He slowly looked himself over and patted himself down. The only thing that appeared to be wrong with him was some pain in his pinky finger, but not enough to indicate that it was broken. He remembered last being on a plane when the pilot started announcing for people to take emergency procedures. He saw a few CAs running around and them hitting some turbulance(?). He recalled watching as the ground sped toward them as he braced himself for impact, then waking up here.
Well, unless something happened during impact, it seemed like his memory was all there. He looked at his surroundings. There were a lot of unconscious bodies, and a few dead ones from the looks of it. Seems as though this plane crash was fortunate. He also noticed to other people that were conscious, one on each side of him and one of them seemed to be looking in the distance. He tried to follow her gaze but couldn't find out what she was looking at. He quietly went over to get a better view, and soon found out what it was. It appeared to be some sort of big cat. He could've sworn he saw something like that somewhere, but he couldn't remember where. Didn't matter now though. He quietly went over to where the girl was and placed a hand on her shoulder, hoping she wouldn't make a scene that would attract the animal.

The boy allowed his brown eyes to rest on the creature as he thought about the girl's request. He didn't know much about big cats, but he knew he didn't have what it took to take one on. Besides, who knew how many more were out there. Though, it seemed like the one in sight was preoccupied with his meal and would be for several more precious minutes.
"Do you have a plan on how to keep all these people safe? Know of any possible ways to keep the creatures at bay, prefferably one that could be done within a few minutes? Because if not, there isn't much we can do other than possibly drag a few of them to safety. And they would have to be the ones that appear to have taken the least amount of damage. Also, there was another girl that was awake, maybe she could help." he said quickly and quietly, making sure the girl knew the size-up of the situation. Or, at least, the one he was able to come up with.

A dull pain grew into a pulsing headache, snapping Mikhail into conciousness. He went to sit up, but instead, only managed to make his senses swirl into chaos for a moment. As the pain started to die down once more, he began to regain his sense of surroundings. Memory began to swim back into his head once more. The plane, the emergency, the crash. His eyes shot open, and he immediately regretted it. He had to squint for a moment, before woozily rolling to his side. He almost immediately wished he were still unconcious. Scattered figures. Some obviously beyond the mortal realm. Others unknown. HIs hand crawled up to grab the emblem around his neck. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, before noticing the creatures. "What the..." They were far enough away that he could afford to look around. It seemed he wasn't the only one rousing from unconciousness. He shakily pulled himself to his knees, trying to regain his composure and faculties, before making any actions. He was well-trained, but not against... whatever it was these.. things.. .were.

Mike shook his head as he rose, shakily, to his feet. He wasn't sure if it was his physical state, or just the enormity of the situation that was giving him trouble coming out of his groggy state. Either way, he was, for the most part, up and moving. It seemed, for now, the feral cat issue was resolved. What that left, however, was the issue of the bodies. That word. Bodies. It left a sinking feeling deep in Mike's gut. There were dead people here. People he knew...
Movement caught his eye again. The survivors. A few were moving about. He'd almost forgotten. He started moving towards their general direction. He, himself, must have ended up pretty near the edge of the cluster, putting him a small, though not unmanageable, distance away. He kept glancing towards the forested area, in case those creatures came back.
