Saralee Monroe

User Image

Saralee was surprised how quickly things had happened. In only a matter of moments she found herself set up with Alexander to tango. Uh oh... It's been a while. I hope I can do this! She flashed a smile back trying to fake her confidence. One look back over her shoulder and she could see people clearing around them, somehow sensing things would get a bit fancy and energetic. Even the chaperons stopped their chatting and watched the pair. "I hope I can let you lead with confidence, Alexander" Her last word she smirked up slightly and stood behind him, beginning the dance by reaching under his arm and placing it over his heart slowly. The music started and Saralee took a deep breath. With a brave inhale, she felt the confidence boost she needed. David was watching, which meant she needed to show him the gem he had tossed away and that Alexander had picked up.

The pair of close dancers made their way around the cleared dance floor and everyone's eyes were on them. Saralee's cheer friends gasped at the mysterious Alexander's talents and Saralee's grace. Together they seemed to make the perfect tango team. Every time their noses touched for the tango, Saralee felt her cheeks become warm and her heart raced. She had never felt this way before. It was as if they were dancing not only with their bodies, but with their very souls. She felt his hands gliding along her back, stomach, and arms carefully balancing her for their movements and helping to guide her along with the dance sequence. As soon as the dance was finished, and Saralee was dipped slowly, her blond locks fell away from her face and she closed her eyes. Such a moment of excitement! The students and chaperons all clapped and whistled, well, except for David Miller and his football friends who were looking angrily at Alexander. Clearly, if he had been trying to make David jealous, he had done it very well. The star football player made his way toward the pair and looked like he was ready to pick a fight.

In the same moment, Saralee slowly rose back up, stopping nose to nose with Alexander with a soft pink hue across her peachy cheeks. Her green eyes softened and she let out a soft whisper. "Wow... you're amazing... I think we need something a little slower now so I can relax a bit... I think I'm feeling a little light headed." Her eyelashes fluttered for an instant and her smile faded, seeing David approaching. Saralee quickly grabbed Alexander's right sleeve by the cuff and stood close. "I think he still thinks I'm his eye candy... And you might want to brace yourself... the girls don't call him Miller the Mangler for nothing. Be careful..." She took a soft inhale and took a step behind Alexander, trying to prevent herself from being grabbed by the wrist like she had experienced quite a few times the last few days before David broke it off with her. She never would tell anyone for fear of having them think a wealthy girl was also incapable of protecting herself and had to hire Daddy's people to handle things. More than anything, Saralee just wanted to spend more time with Alexander. He had definitely impressed her with his fancy footwork!

The hacker had been focusing on her partner as they danced, the rest of the world melting away until there was nothing but her and Saralee. Amiee could feel her heart thundering at the other girl's grace, her jade eyes half-mast as a rose tint touched her pale skin. It was almost worthy of a Disney movie in her mind, the pair moving with such skill that it left all of the onlookers breathless. Each caress to Saralee's form that the dance required made her feel almost giddy with desire, fighting back any notions of being attracted to the girl that she likely would never speak to again; Saralee Monroe was falling for Alexander, who for all of being exactly like Amiee, was a male.

The moment they were nose to nose, the spell the music had over her seemed to break, Amiee panting slightly as the people cheered them on. "You certainly can dance, Saralee. I hope I was alright." She spoke breathlessly, smiling as the males drew closer. Even if the girl hadn't moved to stand behind her, Amiee had been more than ready to guide her to that spot; if there was one thing she hated, it was bullies. At her words, the model flashed her a smile, though her heart sank as she realized her identity might end up being revealed. "Saralee Monroe, I am not only a model, but a blacksmith. You would be surprised how strong we are. Even the female smiths." The girl assured her, turning to look at her possible foe warily.

She sized them up, looking at their gaits to find weaknesses, trying to recall all of the injuries they had sustained in their games to use against them. Amiee clenched her jaw, grabbing the hand of David that had tried to grab the cowering girl behind her, her jade eyes cold. "Forgive me, but I don't think she asked for you to touch her." Were the icy words, Amiee twisting his hand to make him yelp loudly moments before the linebacker slugged her hard in the stomach.

Amiee double over and wheezed before slamming an uppercut into his chin, watching him drop before another blow hit her face, bloodying her nose. She stumbled before hitting another one, her fist then turning to lash out against the tight end's face before David jumped on her to start pummeling her mercilessly from above, straddling her. Thirteen hits in, Amiee felt her binder snap, thus she hit the boy in the head, knocking him off as she held her chest to hold her failed restraint in place and dashed out, her assailants all groaning on the floor. She had to keep the school from knowing, to keep Saralee free of humiliation, Amiee finally halting in a hallway as she nursed her bloodied face, carefully removing the now ruined binder as she winced. 'At least Saralee would never know.' Amiee sighed mentally, hissing in pain as she held her ribcage gingerly, her chest filling out her dress shirt as blood trailed from hetr bleeding nose, cheek, split lip, and eyebrow, leaning against the wall as the crimson stained the white material.

Saralee was pulled backward by her one friend Megan as the fight broke out. A circle of onlookers had made the chaperons interfering hard. Blow after blow was sounded in the silenced gymnasium. Saralee screamed as Alexander landed on the floor and was hit repeatedly as David kept yelling insults. Megan had to hold Saralee back as she cried over and over for the fight to stop. As Alexander escaped into the hallway, the police arrived and pulled David and the other line backers away and outside for reports. The teachers tried to reassure the rest of the students everything would be taken care of and the DJ turned the music back on and to a pop song most of the students ended up dancing to.

"Let me go! I need to go help him!" Saralee pleaded to her friend Megan to let her go. Megan tried to reason with Saralee but it was no use. When the blonde had made up her mind, it was impossible to change it for her. Megan went back to her date and the rest of the group, letting her friend know that if something goes wrong she was to let them know.

Saralee grabbed the white rose and her small white handbag from the table before running out the door to the hallway looking for Alexander. She head a small wince and quietly made her way toward the noise. Spotting Alexander clutching his chest tightly, she quickly knelt down beside him and the tears in her eyes overflowed. "Alexander... I'm so sorry. It's all my fault... Please... let me help you!" She reached in her bag and took out a handkerchief and began trying to wipe the blood from Alexander's lip. Her green eyes looked deeply apologetic at the man who had defended her from David. He was so brave and he took on the fight without fear... "I don't care if you're beat up... I want to help you clean up... we don't have to stay here if you don't want to, but I want to stay with you." Saralee leaned in closer to eye up the injuries.

Amiee flinched at the cloth on her lip, her arm raised up to defend herself from another blow, her jade eyes wide as they met worried green. "S-saralee?!" She panted, her hand gripping the jacket tightly to hide the swell of her breasts just under the white shirt. Her injuries caused her to hiss in pain, before she ducked her head in shame. "Sara, you shouldn't be here. Please, I don't want to upset you."

Her nose ached hard enough for her hand to drop free of the jacket and hold the sluggishly bleeding item. However, Amiee jerked back as she realized what she had exposed herself to the cheerleader, then relaxed as she dropped the facade of being male. "I.... I'm sorry, but you expected me to be a guy.... I didn't want you to be disappointed." She turned towards the blonde, her left eye a bit blackened. "I promise, my only lie was my name and gender. Everything else about me is real. Hell, I sit behind you in tech lab. Hair charcoal and blue contacts go a long way to hide an identity." Amiee shifted away from the other girl, her voice soft. "I won't hold it against you if you leave now. Just.... Just please, don't tell them who I am. I can't be two models and attend school, I hate all that attention. Please, don't tell anyone, I'm begging you."

Saralee was shocked when it turned out Alexander was a woman. How could he- er she fool her like this? Well, maybe it wasn't all her fault. After all, Saralee had been a bit forward and not asking truly who was Fallen_Prince. Hearing the woman's pleas, she nodded and grabbed her hand. "I'm surprised you went through all this trouble to attend a dance with me... you didn't even seem to know who I was online and especially the trouble I might have caused you... it was very brave. She leaned in and wrapped her arms around the woman's neck, giving her a long close hug with a few tears running down her cheeks. She could smell the cologne her partner was wearing and it made her all the more thankful for her. Personally, Saralee never considered the possibility of a woman being as charming as any man she ever fantasized about. So how was she to know how to feel? Her father was pretty settled on the only child he had marrying a wealthy or talented man and carrying on a great gene pool. He even had told her that unless she was married before she even got personal with a man, her virginity was worth $50,000 alone. Still, what of her own dreams? She hadn't even considered her own feelings.

The blonde turned her head and gave her friend a kiss on the cheek, whispering softly to her to calm her as best as she could. "I'd like to see the real you... to get to know the real you. Can we go back to your place and get you cleaned up a bit at least? And... next time we go out together, at least until things around here with David calm down, you can still be Alexander to also help with my father... He kind of expects to meet this mystery man I danced with tonight... If that's alright." She smiled and hugged her again, uncaring if there was blood on her new dress or not. Regardless of who this woman was, she certainly was a wonderful person. "What can I call you, since you're a woman after all?" She laughed softly and released her embrace, kneeling only an inch in front of the woman and looking into her jade eyes.

Amiee bit back a sharp hiss of pain from the embrace, but smiled at Saralee regardless, whispering to her, "Amiee. My name is Amiee Tressler. We can go back to my house if you want, but it's nothing grand. And Mom will probably freak out when she sees me. I do make the bulk of my income with my looks after all." She was blushing at the kiss to her cheek still, also adding, "Plus, she might think you're my... uh.... She might think you came home for the wrong reasons, but I'll explain it. C'mon, I hope you don't mind a motorcycle." The hacker urged, taking the other girl's hand after grabbing her trashed binder to throw it in a trash can and guiding her through the halls until they reached one of the side doors, opening it to let then filter out into the parking lot.

She could see a few of her friends from the agencies had attended, all gesturing at David in a manner that suggested they were blaming him for the inciting of the fight; which was true. She could hear Hannah saying in her shrill voice that Alexander had been defending Saralee Monroe "God! Do you really not know who THE Saralee Monroe is?!" Judging by the sudden stiffening of the officer, Amiee guessed that he could remember quite well.

She lead the blonde to her bike, offering the girl her helmet and then helping her adjust it before hopping on to steady the vehicle as it roared to life. "Hop on behind me." The model half yelled, waiting for the girl to cautiously climb on behind her and hesitantly hold her around her waist. Amiee allowed herself to whimper from a bit of pain, but drove off to the small house only a few miles away to pull into the driveway.

Killing the engine, Amiee let Saralee climb off before setting down the kickstand and walking it into the garage. Once she had finished that, she noticed she was gaining a limp, favoring her right leg as she guided the other girl into the house, her mother calling from the kitchen, "Amiee, honey? You back already? Is everything.... AMIEE!! What happened?!" The older woman was ignoring the mystery blonde as she took stock of her daughter's injuries, the jade eyed girl waving her off. "David Miller happened. He tried to bully and scare Ms. Monroe here, and you know how much I hate bullies." She just realized she had been holding Saralee's hand the whole time, dropping it hastily as a blush spread under her bruised and bloody features. "Mom, this is Saralee. She was the girl I was meeting."

Her mother's blue eyes seemed to be sizing the girl up before softening, finally stating, "Nice to meet you, dear. Are the two of you hungry?" A tired grin settled on Amiee's battered lips. "I could eat." She confessed sheepishly, smelling pasta before pulling out a chair for her new friend at the table. "Have a seat while I get changed." Amiee urged before going to her room. A deep exhale escaped her the moment the door closed, stripping off her bloody clothing and throwing on a bra, sweatpants, and a t-shirt after cleaning off her skin, padding back out to sit next to her guest just as her mother set down heaping plates of the food. "And to answer your earlier question, I can be Alexander for you if you need. I would rather be Amiee, but as long as you know who I am really, I can. SONOFAWHORE!" She yelped as she found a ribeye pressed against her blackeye, her mother laughing. "Mind your language. And you were getting a shiner, dear." The voice of her mother turned to Saralee, Amiee holding the steak in place as she ate. "So, are you here as a friend, or...." Amiee blushed darkly as she spoke, "Friend! She's here as my friend! Seriously, Mom, why would I bring a girl home on a first date to.... Well.... You know!" She stumbled over her words, clearly innocent of the implications. "So, anything you wanted to ask?" The smith inquired, hoping her friend liked the food alright. She knew it wasn't what she was used to, but her mother was a great cook.

After arriving at the modest home of Aimee and taking off the helmet, Saralee now knew why the girl seemed so nervous about bringing her here. It was true that they lead different lives even though they went to the same school. The blond stepped off the bike and followed Aimee inside.

The house was small, but it was cozy with a warm aura around it. Meeting Ms. Tressler was a surprise but she was happy to meet the mother who raised such a nice young woman. She could smell the warm pasta and smiled, knowing that any kind of pasta was always a good cure for a bad date. She took a seat after Aimee dropped her hand, feeling herself blush as well on her ears. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Tressler." She pulled the plate before her closer and took a long whiff while waiting for Aimee to come back down. It smelled absolutely wonderful! Once Aimee came back down, she smiled and laughed at the mother putting a cold steak on Aimee's sore eye. Her family wasn't nearly as carefree and often left all matters to the staff without a second thought. It was the parents' jobs to provide the resources and always the staff to mend and pamper. It was wonderful to see a normal family bonding. She smiled softly at Aimee and softly felt her voice utter her very thoughts "You look really nice this way too. I never would have guessed you had curves under that attire before. Man or woman, you still look charming." She tried to avoid the look of curiousity Ms. Tressler was giving between the two of them

"And actually yes, there is, Aimee." Saralee looked down nervously at the pasta bowl before her and tried to avoid looking at the mother beginning to listen in. "You were brave enough to defend me from David. You even provided the perfect disguise to escort a Monroe to a dance. But tell me, if you knew David was looking at me like he was, why would you try to make him more jealous by dancing so closely and romantically with me?" She could feel her cheeks turning red. "You danced divinely, but you must have known it would cause you trouble with my ex-boyfriend... Surely I'm not worth causing trouble over. My father may be the president of the Monroe Multimedia Corporation, but I'm just his daughter who needs to keep up her looks, talents, and social standings just so she can be married off to a rich stranger... Surely you know I come with a history of past relationships that have the men anxious to run my bases if you catch my drift." Saralee gripped the bowl and felt a tear run down her face and land on the table. "I never wanted to cause you to get hurt... being a rich girl's date doesn't give someone the right to hurt you!" Her voice silenced and she felt her shoulders shake. What was coming over her? She had never gotten this upset before...

Amiee arched her visible eyebrow at the girl once she finished, chewing her food a bit before swallowing to reply. "Actually, for the same reason, I had to. I was your escort to the event. Monroe or not, you were my responsibility. You put your trust in me, and it would have been crminal to just let that douche do as he pleased. Besides, I've wanted to punch him for years." She finished her plate before carrying it to the kitchen, her mother shooing her back out to her guest. "Also, you probably should lay off the mentions of your obvious wealth. You say it to the wrong person, and you might just find yourself in serious trouble." She moved the steak a bit, leaning back as she recalled Saralee's comment of her body, shyly smiling. "That's what a binder is for. It keeps everything in place, but the one I had on broke during the fight."

The jade eyed model sighed, looking at the far wall. "Saralee, you and I come from two very different worlds. Do you even know what it's like to be without? To have to worry about being one paycheck from the streets? You live in a world of only the finest, but I guess even that has it's issues." Her eye leveled to green hues as she smiled. "How will you explain Alexander? I mean, half the school is a fan, but how did we meet? I'm sure you don't want him to know we were talking online."

Saralee looked down and nodded. It wouldn't be the first time someone she had known from school had told her to stop saying she was wealthy. Her father wouldn't stop talking about their money since the day she was born. She supposed it rubbed off on her and it kept those outside their social circle away. Regardless, she nodded and scooted her chair back and stood up. Embarrassed as she was for all the trouble she had caused, she wanted to make things right. Whatever it took, she wanted to help Aimee. Hearing that she was one paycheck from the streets made the blonde highly uncomfortable.

"Forgive my nervous habit of money talk, Aimee. Sadly it's something I've been doing as long as I can remember when I feel guilty or uncomfortable." She walked over the short distance and gently placed her hand over Aimee's to keep the steak in place over the girl's eye. "I have never been without material needs, that is true. Truly the only thing I lacked was my right to choice as a person. I was always groomed and taught to be the optimal girl that men would seek out from all over to wed one day. Even now I question if that was the only desire Father had for me, wedding me off as soon as I turn seventeen. Truly, you're the one person I've felt comfortable around who has even shown me one genuine amount of kindness." She felt her heartbeat speeding up from the feeling of their hands touching and the woman's unique beauty. Normally she only felt this way around a man. Could this be... her first real crush?

Saralee knelt down a bit and tried to take in the face of her rescuer fully for the first time. This was the real person under the facade of Fallen_Prince. "As for explaining Alexander, I'm sure when the time comes I'll think of something." She reached both of her hands for Aimee's free hand and held it gently, enjoying the warm tingly sensation that was flowing through her like a small chain of electricity. "Right now, I just want to think about where we go from here... as Saralee Monroe and Aimee Tressler. What are we to do when we have class together? I can't simply ignore you or pretend we haven't met. Things feel... different..." She was having more trouble finding the words that she had all evening.

Amiee had to force her breathing to remain steady, but nothing could stop her racing heart, the close proximity to the beautiful junior causing her skin to flush. "Sara, listen to me. I don't expect you to ignore me, but I have to be careful with my idenity. Everyone has a past, like my old friend, Ra. She has a past, as do I. We live in different worlds, you and I. And we play by very different rules." Her right eye was almost pleading, a nervous smile on her swollen lips. "I would like us to stay friends, but you can't mention modeling, or Alexander. I can mess with a few school files so classes get mixed up on Monday, and we can somehow 'meet'. From there, we can then... I guess actually get to know each other in a school setting."

She had never been so glad for Ainra Dirkholm teaching her how to hack; it made tasks like this childsplay. She wondered how the peculiar girl was doing now that she was off at some college. Her thoughts returned to the girl in front of her, gently squeezing her hand. "And careful now, Ms. Monroe. I wouldn't want you to accidentally fall in love with me. It wouldn't suit you to be seen with someone like me." The jade hue turned upward to stare at the ceiling, blinking back tears. "I'm not the kind of girl that your kind brings home to meet mommy and daddy. I'm the kind they warn you to stay away from."

Taking a deep breath, the model looked back at Saralee curiously, still hoding the meat over her eye. "Let me know when you need me to drop you off back home. A Monroe shouldn't be out unescorted at the hour. And..." She paused, looking at the hand holding hers. "And I just don't want you to get hurt. I might not be a man, or named Alexander, but he is me. I will keep you safe, Saralee. I will do my very best to do so, I promise."

At the word love, Saralee's face went scarlet and so did her pale ears. Love? Who said anything about... well... I don't know... this whole thing is strange. She stood up straight and kept her hold on Aimee's hand with her right one gently. It was hard to keep herself under control. Part of her wanted to yell at the top of her lungs that Aimee would crack the school system and hack the computers, but part of her was highly impressed. She wanted to stammer out a retort to the word love, but found herself silenced by the what if in her mind. Did she like Aimee for the role of Alexander or for the actual her as Aimee? Did she even want to say so far as it was a like-love or a like-like? The whole thing was a headache.

"I don't think I want to head out so early. Knowing Father and Mother, returning home early will send them into a storm of questions I can't answer, but I do hope that I can invite you over after our little introduction at school to truly have a story for them. I wouldn't go as far as saying you were anything other than a classmate I was introduced to who could help me in a class or two. After all, you are a senior, aren't you? Lab Tech is a mixed class after all." She sighed looking at her dress and felt very formal for such an occasion. "Could I please borrow some clothes to wear until I go home? I don't really feel comfortable wearing something like this around outside the dance floor... if that's ok with you, Aimee" Her voice had a hard time saying the woman's name without a slight blush across her face and gripping the woman's hand a little firmer. I shouldn't be feeling this way though! She's another girl and clearly not from the same world like she said. Father expects the equivalent of a prince or a super star for a son-in-law... What am I doing? Snap out of it Saralee, you're going to make her run away! She mentally shook her head and fought back a tear forming in her eye from the thought of Aimee leaving her alone never to see her again.

Amiee tilted her head before standing, putting the steak on the table idly before walking back to her room, her left eye swollen nearly shut. "I think so. Lemme see." The hacker sifted through her clothing before locating a beige pair of cotton pants and a very long, ornate pink Middle Eastern sari tunic for her guest. Once she had finished gathering her items, she offered them to Saralee with a sheepish grin. "These are from an old shoot. I really did like the clothing, so they let me hold onto them."

Her jade eye took in the cheerleader, blushing once again due to the fact that she was having to share her clothing with one of the most popular girls in school. However, Amiee also noticed that her mother had gone to her room at some point of the two of them talking, leaving them alone. "S-so, what would you like to do, Saralee? I mean, I don't do that much, just smithing, music, modeling, art, and the like. I'm not entirely too interesting."

Saralee gently took the clothes from Aimee and was surprised how beautiful they were. An ornate pink tunic was hard to find outside of a wealthy person's closet, and even she hadn't owned one or even tried one on. "Oh, I don't really care what we do, but as long as I get to spend some time with you I think it will be fun!" She smiled and blushed slightly looking down at the clothes. Truly Aimee must have offered the best attire she owned for her. It was an old act of chivalry that Saralee was always flattered by. "Pardon me for a moment though while I get this on. The longer I stand here in my green dress the longer I have to feel like I'm out of place."

Saralee navigated her way through the small house until she found the bathroom, quietly closing the door behind her. The dress itself was a bit snug and clung to her figure, making removing it a challenge. Maybe she should ask for some help- NO! The very thought of Aimee helping her remove her clothes sent a large red hue over her entire body. She couldn't even fathom how she'd react if something like that happened! She opted to open the seam a bit on the side and pull her dress upward over her head. It wasn't like Jeeves couldn't sew it back up later if she decided to wear it again. She took great care and slid the pair of pants and tunic on, surprised they had the same shape and size everything. This was yet another advantage of Aimee being a model and in great shape such as herself.

She came back into the kitchen and blushed as she turned around twice to show Aimee how it looked on her. "So, do I look alright? It's not normally a color I wear, but it feels so comfortable I can't say I don't like it." She folded her hands in front of her feeling a bit nervous about how they would spend their time together. I mean, this was supposed to be a date with a male model and I had a few things in mind, but I don't think Aimee would feel comfortable and- darn it why am I still acting like a shy girl with a crush? Snap out of it Saralee! The blonde thought of something she had never done before with anyone and decided it was innocent enough. "Would it be okay if I got to see the place that most inspires you for your art and smithing? It would be great to know what inspires your hands create your masterpieces. But if you can't let me in, that's alright." Her thoughts still were wandering all over the place. Trying to think of how she could figure out what she was feeling inside about Aimee and how she could introduce Aimee to her Father and Mother once they had to get her home. Knowing them, they would be asking her why the girl had a black eye and why Saralee was not wearing her dress, or even if she did wear the dress why there was some blood on it.

Amiee swallowed a lump in her throat when Saralee walked back out of the bathroom in the clothing, her jade eyes drinking in the beautiful young woman. "You look.... Stunning." She reathed in reverence, blushing at the request. After a moment of internal debate, the model motioned for the blonde to follow her to her room.

There were papers with half-finished sketches littering the floor, blades she had forged on shelves and displayed on the walls, a ringmaille shirt hanging next to the window, and several small stuffed animals on her desk, including a neko with white ears and tail. "So, this is my room. The forge is closed for the night, but maybe I can take you there sometime." The battered girl offered before an idea struck her. "When I drop you off, I can just rebind and wear the clothes that got messed up. After all, there is that police report that I defended you. They can meet Alexander that way, and you won't need to lie."

Saralee smiled at the layout of the room. Truly it was filled with a lot of creativity and talent that surpassed her own. Aimee had smithing projects that she could only imagine took a lot of time to think of and create delicately by hand. The sketches that were only partly done and scattered along the floor showed how detailed her mind was. Such creativity and colors. The delicate lines of the drawings were done with the hands of a sensitive artist that Saralee found very attractive. What was so wrong about a woman who can do this kind of work having to hide who she was? Aimee Tressler was practically invisible at school but had so much talent pouring out of her. The whole idea of having to hide that much potential was sad to the blonde. A small gasp of amazement poured from her pink lips as she took in the whole sight.

"I'd love to see the forge sometime. If you have more projects like these around, I would love to see them!" Then the neko on her desk caught Saralee's eye. "Oh how cute! What do you know? Aimee does have a feminine side under her Alexander facade!" The blond smiled and laughed a bit nudging Aimee who seemed perfectly comfortable in her tomboy and casual attire. If anything, Saralee was trying to get her friend to laugh. Truly, that's the place Aimee had in her eyes right now. If she couldn't convince herself how she was feeling with the girl, then the basic title she could give her was friend. "But if you could talk to the police who are no doubt waiting around my house for my return about David Miller, I think it would help us get things worked out to get David and his friends to leave the both of us alone."

Saralee smiled and sat down on Aimee's bed, picking up one of the pillows and holding it tightly of her chest, breathing in the scent of her new friend. The whole scent of Aimee's hair and skin on the pillow somehow put her at ease like everything would be ok. The scent already was having her smile ear to ear like what it used to do with David... it was all so strange. She motioned for Aimee to sit down with her and just enjoy sitting together. There was also something personal she had to ask of her, but would only say it if it was in a whisper. Once Aimee sat with her, she whispered softly in her ear. "Aimee... how do you know if what you feel is right or wrong? I just... I just never felt this unsure of anything in my life before. I feel so happy just being around you without having to do anything... maybe... I don't know." She closed her eyes and leaned her head against Aimee's shoulder. "If it's starting to get dark, I guess I can head home without suspicion... but you're the driver so whenever you're ready." She sighed softly and sadly thought about what trouble she had brought on Aimee just by being her date to the dance. Some date she must have been... nothing but trouble for a woman trying to keep her life quiet and simple.
