╔═ High winds roared in the skies, tugging on the goldish cream sails that seemingly reflected the sunset orange and pinks of the heavens. Her boots clicked on the polished wood, as if signaling to the men around her to prepare for whatever was about to leave her lips. That which curled into a slight smile, familiar to a smirk, Eureka's glittering eyes looked straight up, the winds whispering her victory in her ears. Her dark hair whipped about her face, having not tied it back, so that she looked like some sort of wild beast. Alas, she lowered her head with her chin ever so slightly high as she raised her hand for the attention of her crew. "Prepare my men," she called, her voice mature and sharp. Her crew had already been endowed for what was to happen next, some looking nervous while others looked eager to get their hands on treasure. A few handful of well-trusted crew members stood by the side of the boat, leaning on the railings as they waited for her lead. She looked at her crew, confident in success before she grinned cheekily, "for tonight, we dine in hell!" She yelled, to which many cried in unison.
The Galatea was already in preparation, already running from the Adallan police as it circled its palace. High strung beams shot from the side of the ship, creating a zinging sound to the air as they unwrapped from their coils at an alarming speed. The beams darted through the air, piercing the palace walls with a crack through their surface. The beams taut, the ship groaned as it was anchored briefly. The handful of crew jumped the side of the boat, riding the beams to the wall at high speed, making this mission quick and efficient. Eureka peered over the railing, watching as some of her crew was infiltrate the Adallan palace before she, herself hopped the railing. Landing on the palace wall, she looked about herself as her men overtook the palace. Eureka laughed as she walked forward, her deep crimson cape draping behind her.
The plan was complicated, which had come with months of planning. It was a spontaneous and absurd idea, but Eureka was a spontaneous and absurd person to begin with. Kidnapping the twin girls would require the utmost attention, which was why Eureka had handpicked the crew to be her infiltration team. Blindfolded and binded, the twins were thrown over two burly mens' shoulders and taken to the regrouping spot. Eureka found them there, with a nicely packaged bounty in her hands before scanning the remaining group. "Where's Yanis?" She asked, her voice demanding yet disappointed. A scrawnier looking man spoke up, shaking his head. "Dead, cap'n," he informed. She looked saddened briefly, kissing two fingers before raising them above her head in solitude before turning. The palace sounded in alarm, shots firing at the group. The ship trembled above, having been shot at as it swayed there. Eureka grit her teeth and grabbed the latch on the beam before raising her other hand and striking the beam hard with a slip of blue, it furling out of her fingers like a blade. The others used their blades, snapping the beams free from their attachment as they ricocheted forward in momentum.
Success. With the two twins on board, there was no wrong besides the death of Yanis. After everyone had climbed on board, the crew was set into motion to escape, with palace forces shooting at their iron belly. Four police airships loomed behind one of the palace towers. Eureka shouted several orders before taking the wheel of the ship and made a sharp turn. They were the ever elusive Galatea and Eureka was set on not being captured. ═╝
[ The role-play has begun (like the reference I used in it?). Both military forces ships are active and until the post of Okami Ameras, those who are in the Erebus would have to wait. ]

The chase started. The Adalla ships were right on the Galatia's tail when the world grew dark. Clouds were building, and rain started to fall in blinding sheets. Lighting flashed in brilliant arcs, dazzling those who were unlucky enough to be looking in that direction.
Tailing the two Adalla ships, was a third. It was black as night, and as the ship grew closer in the stormy weather. They were unaware of it's presence... at least until it was too late.
Lightning struck one of the ships, frying a few of the crew and sending the Astralla ship sinking fast. The Erberus slipped through the momentary lapse, before catching up easily through the lashing storm towards the Glatea.
~~~
"Are ye sure this is a good idea Captain'? Eurka isn't one tae cros lightly" Asked one of the crew members.
Tondra turned, and smiled sweetly at the crew member. She flicked her soaked blonde hair, and winked with one of her baby blue eyes. She was standing infront of her ward as the ship gained on the Galatea, and it was glowing half-heartedly..
Let's just say... she purred. After this, someone from Astralla going to owe me a big favor~ Anyhow, as long as the storm keeps up, Miss Pyro won't be able to do a damn thing. She said in an affectionate tone. This was the first time Erberus ever moved against the Galatea, but the Fire Woman was not unknown to the woman known as Tempest-- and to think that Tempest was unknown to the Fire Woman would be folly. Nice, perhaps, but still folly.
"Should we activate the ward more?" Asked a crew member. Tondera shook her head, pulling a soaked sheet over the ward.
No. Wait till we get back aboard with our prize. Then... turn it up to full blast.
Soon the other ship was more then a dark shape in the rain.
She smiled.
NOW! She bellowed, as Erberous slid up smoothly alongside the Galatea. Grappling hooks flew out from the side, lashing the two ships together for a few precious moments as Tondra and a few choice mebers swung aboard.
Chaos ensued as fighting broke out across the ship. Swords clashed, gunshots fired. Yelling as the Galatea's crew was thrown into chaos at being caught so quickly.
Eventually, Tondra bounded out from below deck, where the twins had been thrown. She had only one over her shoulder, the girl awake now but still bound, and struggling madly. With a few great leaps she bounded over the railings back onto her ship.
She called out a couple choice commands, and the crew of the Erberus immediately retreated back to their ship. The crew member left to attend to the ward activated it fully, the lashing rain started to pour even harder and the lightning grew even more frequent. The grapples were cut, and the black as night ship slipped into a cloud-- gone.
~~~
I woke to the sound of swordfighting and yelling. Someone picked me up and threw me over their shoulder-- why the devil was I in a burlap sack!?
A few moments later there was the sound of heavy rain that soaked the bag I was in, in seconds. I felt someone jumping, and I decided to hold still as I heard the creaking of timber and rocking of... and airship.
Oh no-- my sister and I had been kidnapped by pirates!
A moment later I was taken somewhere out of the rain, and dropped rather unceremoniously onto something that could be remotely called soft. My back protested at the drop, and I groaned.
Oww...

In the Goliath, Lina was sleeping at her post with a book over her head. She snorted when she felt the vibrations of the ship moving but only flipped over in her bed and kept sleeping. A few minutes later, Lina heard a banging on her door, but ignored it. One of the crew members peeked a head into her room and let out a small silent swear before trying to shake her awake. Still, she wouldn't budge. He then reported back for duty. The crew member went immediately to Victor and Luke, seeing how busy they were.
"P-pardon me, sirs." He stated, saluting the captain and vice captain. "The unnatural electrostatic effects are causing some of the pressure gauges to act erratically, and though the navigator is using the calculations previous to the electrical strikes, he needs them calibrated. ... and Lina's asleep again."
~~~~~~
Hector was silent, her face calm and expressionless though her eyes were piercing as if looking straight into his soul. She looked neither impressed or irritated at the mention of his name. She was completely indifferent. She only gave a small nod before lifting her hand slightly as if telling him to proceed. It was obvious by her countenance and the air about her that she was not someone to be taken lightly.
╔═ The Galatea groaned, the winds breaking through the deck. Eureka squinted her eyes, barking orders as the storm wreaked havoc about her ship. The rain poured, soaking her body and making her clothes stick to her skin. And then the ship tilted with a loud crash, making Eureka fall forward with a grunt, her chest slamming into the wheel of her ship. Eureka made a small, pained noise. She whipped her head, her gold eyes looked around to spot the dark, looming ship besides hers and some mischievous thieves boarding her ship. She frowned, now annoyed. So this was the Tempest and her ship the Erebus? Finally showing up to play a dirty trick, she guessed. She scanned the black ship, looking for the woman who decided to cross her. Eureka had heard of Tondra many times before and despite them never once meeting, their reputations sort of had a rivalry about them. Eureka ruled these skies, not some b***h who hid in the dark.
The Galatea could do little about being boarded, only to fight that vixen’s henchmen. Nor could it do much about the shuddering of the ship, mainly because the electrical currents in the sky were bearing a little too much on the ship. She hoped Jake could manage for the time being. And then the blonde captain hopped over the Galatea’s railing. Eureka caught her blue eyes, but did not move to stop her as she bounded in the lower deck. Of course no one could stop Tondra as she did this and came out with one of the twins over her shoulder. Why not take the other? Eureka’s fist tightened, but she did not move as she watched her hop over the railing. At last, Eureka let the wheel go and hopped straight from the high deck to the lower one, landing with a hard and loud thud before darting after Tondra. The last of her crew had retreated back on her own ship and the grappling hooks were cut. Eureka darted forward to the railing, peeling of one of her soaked gloves as she ran forward in the rain. The rain was not going to stop her, if Eureka could help it.
She certainly was not going to let the Tempest go without some calamity, especially after taking her latest bounty. She used the railing as a stepping stone, leaping into the air before swinging her arm through the air in a hard motion. A spiraling flame the color of a evanescent blue unleashed from her finger tips like a whip from the back of her before she stroke down with some of her might at the side of the Erebus, using the high winds as a fuel for her attack. Of course, it wasn’t as much damage as she would’ve liked, especially because of the rain, but Eureka wanted to leave a lasting scar on the b***h’s ship as a reminder of who she had just made an enemy out of. Eureka caught on one of the beams from the invasion of the palace with her gloved hand, burning the fabric as she fell before she stopped, swinging at the end of the line. Eureka gasped, though not out of fear of heights but out of exhaustion. With a huff she began to climb, watching as the Erebus separated itself from the Galatea’s path. Eureka cursed, watching the wretched black thing leave with her bounty. Tondra will definitely have to pay.
And then the ship gave a very heavy shudder and began to tilt to the right very, very sharply. Eureka yelled, though to no avail. What the hell was happening up there? Eureka continued to pull herself up before looking behind the ship as it curved, there seeing an Adallan ship in the distance. “s**t!” She cussed. They were shooting at them and the Galatea was evading. It was quite the elusive ship, but she knew that they wouldn’t last for long if put under stress. She dragged herself back to the side of the ship and climbed the rest of the way before heaving herself over the railing. Many of her crew was scattered, scrambling to prepare defense mechanisms. A few checked to see if she was okay and reported that the ship was indeed an official military Adallan ship.
The ship creaked again, though this time accompanied with a loud ramming noise. Right, Joseph was to be back at this time. But her priority was on other things, and Joseph would either be at the wheel or come find her. Lenore watched the ship behind them. She knew they would try to board them to get the other twin and avoid blowing up their ship. They probably didn’t even know that woman had stolen the other one yet. Eureka glanced back where the Erebus used to be, having now disappeared in a cloud. Eureka swore again before climbing the side of the stairs back to the upper deck to the wheel, finding Joseph there as if he had never left. “We’re gonna run ‘em, boys!” She yelled to her crew, glancing to Joseph with a small, irritated look. He could probably tell she wasn't in the best mood, especially after being chased now by the military after having half her treasure stolen from right under her. She had escaped the police before, she was sure she could do it again. She straightened out the ship as ordered the sails to be full cast before calling someone to get her a new pair of gloves. ═╝
◢ Amory paused, lifting her head to listen to the movement above her. She heard several footsteps scuffling hurriedly, which wouldn't have been much of an issue if it weren't for the fact that today was the day that their new captain would be appointed. Guessing that he had already made his arrival, she lifted herself out of her cot, a hammock like bed that swayed ever so slightly, and sauntered over to the door. She looked disheveled, having slept the whole day off because of the lack of orders in her area. After creeping to the top of the ship before peeking out to take a peek at the new captain.
He looked so young! But then again, he was probably a few years older than Amory was. She spotted Erik, who was the same age as Amory, greet the new official captain the Valkylrie. She hummed a little before coming out from her hiding spot. Her hair was tied up, usually so that it didn't look so messy, and her clothes were loose. She wore a light tunic and a pair of pants; not to mention she was barefoot. She didn't care to wear her official mechanic uniform jacket, since she was in bed most of the time. She also didn't like the idea of wearing shoes, especially so if she was the mechanic of this ship. She liked the feeling of the wood, its liveliness under her feet. She wiggled her toes before striding over. She bowed her head, an appropriate greeting in her village. "Hello, I'm your assigned mechanic, Amory Fortuna from the high mountains of Marus. A pleasure to meet you, Captain Thunderbird," she said appropriately. She knew that it was a little informal, but it wasn't like she was a military official. She then looked up into Hector's face, noticing that he looked a little disinterested. He had an air of intimidating stature about him, it made Amory feel slightly uncomfortable. ◤
