Nimat was in shock why didn't they ever tell him this. Nimat didn't want to say anything. but when his mother came to hug him he got embarrassed. Nimat really didn't like the attention on him. He wondered why Ya lan was out looking for a Vixen and didn't even know what she looked like. Nimat wanted say "yes she emi." but he was already embarrassed from the hug. He didnt want anymore attention. He waited for his mother to answer Lan.

Emi nodded her head and was surprised how relieved the Ya Lan looked. It was strange to think a child of Lilia’s would be so reserved. She chuckled and as the vixen stared at her she released she should explain. “I. I’m sorry. It’s just Lilia was always so headstrong and was the one who got me into so much trouble that.. well.” She fumbled for words. “To think that Lilia’s little girl is so polite. It’s strange. My apologies.”

Ya Lan was excited that she had finally found Emi and it wasn’t just a similarly marked fox. Nodding her head she conceded to Emi’s comment about her mother. It was true as far as Ya Lan was concerned. “I take far more after my father than mother.” At the vixen’s confused look she realized that Emi knew of Silva! “Ah Lilia had a few kits with a male named Xi Lan. Silva and Chaos are their respective mates as such I was raised in two separate homes. My mother spoke often of you and the one who was once your shared master. My goal now was to find each of you and perhaps bring forth the option of a meeting after so long. My mother doesn’t know all this yet, but it seemed to me that those who were so close should not simply drift and disappear from each other’s lives. I described you and could name your mate but knew very little beyond that. It is only by supreme grace that this trip has been easy and not dangerous.” Well she was sore but at least she hadn’t broken anything.

Nimat didnt know what to say. " You came here for a reason what was it?" he try to say with out being rude. Then he looked down because he was to shy to look at Ya Lan. Nimat thought that he sounded rude and he didn't want to look a her expression.

Ya Lan’s thoughts ran along the lines of the fact she had just stated her purpose aloud and perhaps Nimat lacked ears or the attention to listen. Still such uncharitable thoughts she discarded as quickly as they came. This was the child of her mother’s friend and she ought to show him more respect as he had gone to such lengths to help her. “To find your mother Emi and bring her attention to the absence of contact she has had with mine own mother and offer to be a messenger for the two until such time as they can meet.” Tilting her head just a bit she looked over his down casted expression. Perhaps he realized that she had stated her purpose before when he had interrupted?

Emi blushed hard at her son’s interruption in such a manner. She raised her paws and was going to say something. She wasn’t certain what when Ya Lan spoke simply restating her intentions. That was sweet of the girl. Emi was surprised. She had thought for certain that a child of Lilia’s would have more snark in her. After all Lilia was always… plucky. That was a good word for it. This Ya Lan was quite sweet thought. Letting go her pent up breath slowly she smiled. “I would be happy to meet your mother again; though, that might not be for a while yet. The tribe has much going on right now.” She dipped her head and was surprised when Ya Lan did the same.

Nimat didnt know what he should say. He started to walk off so Lan and his mother could talk.

(I’d love to but that would bore the life out of you. Needless to say Emi is rather excitable and asks lots of questions and Ya Lan is trying to be nice but a part of her wonders how on earth her mother gets along with a fox that seems so energetic and naïve about everything. so time skip post.)

Emi saw her son start to walk off so she could have some privacy with Ya Lan. That was so sweet of him. A large part of her was proud she had raised such a good boy. Still she wished he could have distracted her long enough for Emi to get cleaned up. Being covered in mud and meeting her close friend’s child was not her favorite thought. Still the conversation they had was interesting and Emi learned quite a bit. Lilia and Silva were doing well. As where Ya Lan’s other parents Xi Lan and Chaos. Those other names meant nothing to Emi, but it was nice to learn anyway. And while the pair couldn’t make any plans for a visit right at the moment it was agreeable that Ya Lan could come back at another time and check, perhaps even bringing her mother along. Well at least one of the three anyway.

After a rather long and semi confusing chat with her mother’s dear friend Ya Lan went off in search of Nimat to have him escort her to the edge of tribe lands. Emi had mentioned it was something akin to propriety and as such Ya Lan found herself obliged to do as was offered.

Nimat was glad that he walked off. It felt like a few mins have passed since he started walking. Then he came across a lake. He walked over to the lake, it was beautiful. The water was so clear you can see the fish swimming around . There was all different color fish in the lake, He favorite was the little blue fish that was off by it self. He felt like he could relate to this fish. He watched this fish swim in his reflection in the water. Then he's ear flickered to a sound that disturbed the peace. He walked a little bit away from the lake. to see if he could see if someone was coming out the woods.

Ya Lan saw Nimat looking around and paused briefly for a moment. As the gentle breeze blew her hair to the side she started forward once more. “Greetings Nimat.” She dipped her head at him. “You mother has suggested that you escort me back to the edge of tribe lands.” Ya Lan’s tail wagged gently very satisfied with her quest so far. “Thank you for all of your assistance in this matter. I am very pleased to have been able to speak with my mother’s friend and begin to bridge the gap that has formed. There is still much I must do, though I believe I have gotten quite a bit done already.” The smile she graced him with was radiant beyond belief.

Nimat Looked at Lan and seen that she was very happy with her quest being finished. " I am happy that I could help you." he said with a shy smile. "Well let head off then" Nimat started to walk back into the forest. He took Lan in the same path he found her. " There, do you see the clearing. That is the edge of the tribe land." Nimat started to walk off, but then said. "you should come back a visit sometime." then he walked away.

Ya Lan glanced over Nimat’s face carefully. She was truly glad to have been fortunate enough to meet such a kind fox. She made little noise on the way back but a smile never left her face. She nodded to his question glad he had at least taken her to the edge of the lands and not just pointed her in a random direction. As he started to go she called out to him. “A moment please.” Striding to him she placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. In truth it was more a brush than a true kiss. Still a type of kiss non the less. “Thank you for all your kindness as well as guidance.” She then dipped her head in a deep bow truly grateful before she turned and took several quick strides before launching herself up into the air. Her wings were bit sore but all the walking she had done with Nimat and the rest while talking with Emi had helped considerably. She might even be able to fly most of the day before she would need to land and rest again. Nimat’s visage was in her mind but she tried to place it aside for now as she was not certain when she would be coming back to see him… and his mother too of course.
