Quillan checked to see that his two teammates and their opponent was ready. Once he had done so, he ran towards Shun, fist raised, and attempted to punch him.

As soon as Quillan started attacking, Nim was off. She dashed toward Shun and threw a punch at his torso that sparked with lightning. "Hah! Take that!"

Shun crouched down there for a moment as he regarded the team of young students. Two of them had rushed head on right off the bat, both with a punch. He shifted to the side, feeling Nim's strike graze against him, which had also given him a small jolt. That was something to keep in mind. As he moved, he approached Quillan, defensively bringing up an arm to take the demon's blow.

After that, he came around with his right blade, aiming to stab the boy in the chest.

Estel narrowed her eyes and lunged towards Shun, trying to knock him off-balance enough that he wouldn't just skewer Quillan.

"Hurt" wasn't anywhere close to being a strong enough word to describe the pain that Quillan felt from Shun's attack. As expected of an alumni, knowing where to strike to do the most damage. If Quillan hadn't been a bit shaky on his feet after his punch had been blocked, the stab would have been much more dangerous and he probably would have dissipated. Once his mind cleared a bit, he attempted to knock Shun over by trying something similar to a slide tackle across the gym floor.

Nim could see the pain on Quillan's face and faltered. That was way different than what they'd experienced just fighting each other.

Shun was going to kill them, she was sure of it.

There was no remorse or anything like that visible in Shun's eye. His expression remained the same as he faced off against the first years. Quillan had come rushing back at him after he had stabbed him. Estel had come by as well to aid in the effort. He lashed out at her, slashing towards her midsection, but it was then that the demon's legs connected with his own, causing him to buckle down to his knees.

Estel leapt out of the way of both Shun and the incoming Quillan. Circling around the two of them, she aimed a kick at Shun's back.

Quillan hadn't really thought things through as he was lying on the ground, completely vulnerable to any incoming attacks if Shun chose to aim in his direction. While he probably could have tried to kick the reaper, he quickly scooted back as quickly as possible, using his hands to propel himself backwards until he was well out of range and watched Estel perform a kick. "Go Estel!" he cheered.

Seeing Estel land a cool looking hit on Shun gave Nim a little more confidence. However, when she tried to punch Shun again she missed, because he was way faster than she was.

She decided Estel was probably their best bet. "Hit him again, Estel!"

Shun let out a grunt as Estel landed a fairly solid blow to his back. There was Nim coming at him with a strike. He managed to roll back and out of the way, but now he was too far to retaliate. The Reaper shifted back to give himself a bit of distance between himself and the students to give himself a moment to breathe. With all three of them on him at once, it made it a little difficult to focus on one or another. In a way, this was good practice for himself as well.

Estel chased after him, reaching out to try and grab hold of Shun's sleeve, but she was too slow.

This was fun, though! With the three of them working together, maybe they could even win!

Quillan ran after Estel who was running after Shun. When he was close enough, he threw a punch at Shun, but because the reaper had moved back, the punch was more like a tap.

This was getting kind of sad. No matter what Nim tried, she couldn't hit Shun. She couldn't tell if it was because she was too slow or if it was because there were too many of them attacking.

Shun felt Quillan's fist barely tap him. It was right around there, that he simply vanished. Or seemed to vanish anyway. It was just a veil placed over him so that he may re-position himself. A second or two went by where he was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until he had moved to stab the demon from behind that he visibly reappeared.
