Starphyr No. Moderators have enough people reporting violations of ToS already. If they wanted a special police force to go around reporting everyone who violates ToS rather than anyone who sees it can, they would have made such an organization long ago. Besides, how do I know (or you for that matter) That any of your 'BTPD' personal isn't reporting things that are not violating ToS just for the sake of making a few gold rather than the old fashion earning it, whether it be posting in forums, or in Gaia's games, or even trying their luck with the market place?
Thank you for your feedback. Part of the problem is that too many Gaians don't report violations. And you can never have too many people keeping a site safe for everyone. We have a police like structure for organization, but we aren't some 'elite force' or anything. We are simply a community within the Gaian community doing it as a group and having fun together. We even have moderators in the guild. You are right that you don't know who is doing what. No one truly does and there are Gaians out there who make false reports on accident and on purpose. We have training to cover what should and shouldn't be reported or that reason, to prevent false reports. Also to prevent violations from not being reported out of thinking it's okay. We do not pay people based on them reporting others. We pay based on hours they are clocked in. This includes just looking for violations. Or doing other guild work. Pay is given out as a thank you to the officers. It also motivates some people, but in a good way. We record when we report thing and everyone is held accountable in the guild. We are here to help the community. Besides reporting violations we have charities in the main forums and in numerous guilds, we hold contests in Gaia's forums, we fund other guilds, and more to help Gaians in any way that we can.
