Blushing at being called beautiful. It made her happy that someone found her pretty for she sure didn't. Flying was beautiful from what she recalled of it. The feeling of wind around one as they soared high in the skies. Although she kept herself more at his side this time as they walked she couldn't help but notice that he was guiding her away from things that she feared or felt uneasy around. He was something else and she was glad that he came into her life. She needed someone to show her the lighted path and that is just what he did. Hearing his last question about the meadow as she thinks on it a bit. "Hmm I recall a valley with a waterfall surrounded by mountains. That use to be home. It was pretty. Very pretty." She points out as she smiles.

It seemed intentional that his hoof fall was louder than usual as he moved. Heavy thuds against the ground with the vibration to go with them would scare away anything from bunny to snake to bird. His large frame pushed through brush and he would make sure she moved with little trouble. When she described where she had come from he tried to imagine it. Then used his memory map to determine if he had maybe run into this place before. Even if he could recall the location, it didn't mean she wanted to return. He pushed away the thoughts. "It sounds really nice." He commented, pushing past another bush. He could try to remember where he originally was from but having tried that once or twice before, he knew it wouldn't bring him any recollection. So he pretended it was as nice as her own origin with the waterfall.
Salty air became more apparent. The soothing sound of water washing onto sand reaching their ears. A few more feet and his hooves sunk into soft sand. His heavy body making him sink up just past the top of his hooves. Each step he had to pull his foot free. The water was rippling but calm, moved by the ever constant ocean breeze. It ruffled his short brown mane back away from his face which he was thankful for once that it was short. The wind was strong enough to ruffle the feathers of her wings but was no more powerful than a human breath blowing out candles on a cake. He watched for her reactions, wondering if she had ever traveled to a beach. The ocean beyond seemed almost endless.

Tejina following him as she smiles. It was nice to be with him and she felt at ease when he was near her. That was a feeling that she has come to love and it wasn't something that she ever wanted to fade from her life. He was the only one that gave her this feeling. So he was truly special to her. That was something she was realizing more and more. She knew that she was in love but never realized just how deeply she was in love with Az. Stopping as she sees the water once they get to the ocean. "So pretty." She is in awe from this sight before her.

He couldn't tell easily if this sight was new to her or not. While he was curious, he didn't ask. He walked over a small sand dune, which crumbled beneath his weight. He guided her towards the breaking surf, where the sand was softer and wet. There they would find a small standing pool of water in a sunken hole where one little fish had gotten itself stuck along with a hermit crab. After he was sure she would get a good look at the little fish, he bent his head down and pushed it out to the water when it rolled up to their hooves. It carried the fish back out as it pulled away. Lifting his head upright he would glance over at her with a small smile, enjoying the sight of the bright warm day on her matching pelt.
While they walked the shore, noises from further out in the water might grab their attention. A pod of dolphins all similar in color and markings, were playing together. "They look like they are having fun." He commented while standing there to watch. For the moment he wondered what it was like to be them. To play all day. Some of his trips could be thought of as fun in some points. He sure had a story or two to tell that would sound that way. But he never actively stopped to have fun, play a game or be silly. It wasn't in his nature to think about it. He was happy at least. Shifting his hooves through the wet sand, he kicked up a few small shells. "Hmm" he made a humming noise as his attention diverted to his feet. He shuffled a ways away, using his nose too in his curious looking. Finally he found one of good size he could gently pick up in his teeth and bring to her attention. The inside was a pearlescent coral pink while the outside was an off white hue that when the light hit it juuust right you would see a shine of blue follow the light source across the deep grooves of the shell. He set it down between them, "If you like it, you can slide it beneath my saddle and we can take it with us." With that he would turn to the side, facing out towards the water so she could place it between the saddle on his back and the blue blanket beneath it where he could carry it and keep it safe. He thought about finding someone to trade him something for a satchel or pack of some kind. Anything to actually hold little things like that. He could tell he just might make this a habit. He liked seeing her happy and giving her things brought that out.

Tejina stays close to him as she looks at the waters and then back to him. "This is my first time in a place like this. It is truly beautiful." Enjoying her time with him as she looks at the wonders of this new world as she listens to him and then is shown the shell. "Oh the is so pretty." She slides the shell under his saddle in order to keep it for later. This world so new to her as she saw some wondrous things and can even take a piece of this world home with her. All thanks to him.

He gave a little smile. He was glad to share her first experience on the beach. It was still a couple of hours before the sun would set, thus he let her enjoy the time there.
Once the shell was safely tucked away, he showed her some of the inhabitants of the water. Wading out into the shore where small fish and other creatures came in with the shallow tide. The water drew away, dragging some of the creatures and sand along with it. Before long he could sink down to his knees if he didn't keep moving his stance to keep above the sand. A few seagulls flew over head making their screech of a bird call.
---
The sun started to descend towards the edge of the water. The sky starting to turn it's various shades of color. He motioned his head in that direction for her to watch. While it was pretty any where, some how it was much more out across the water. It made the water sparkle then darken as it set further. The dolphins and seathi swam away. The birds were starting to pick out their spots along the dunes, tucking their bills against wings.

She looks at the sun over the water as she is in a state of awe. This day has been wondrous and she hasn't had a day full of so much new beautiful things in a long time. Maybe the last time was with her mother before anything bad had ever happen to her. Before she became timid. But in a way she is grateful to her timidness because it lead her to meet Az and that was well worth it all. "This day has been so beautiful and wondrous. I am so happy that you have shown me such a wonder new world."

He let out a small sigh as the sun set, seeming to dip into the water itself. He glanced over at her "I'm just happy to see you smile." He bent his head down low enough to lightly brush his muzzle against the tip of her ears. He wasn't sure he should show more affection than that. But he knew he wanted to show something with his comment.
He turned more to face her "I should take you home before it's too dark." As lovely as it was, he would be happier once he was on solid ground again. Sinking was an odd feeling. He guided her off the beach and back into the forest. Like usual with him, the walk was quiet at least on his end. He stayed close so she felt safe while the surroundings darkened past twilight.

Nodding as she starts to follow him. She can't help but fall in love with his but wonders if that is something safe for her to do. After all her past isn't a happy one so love is something she doesn't truly understand what it love really is. Just the basics of it and even if that isn't enough to explain it to herself. But when she is with him, her world is better and brighter. "Thank you the day was very fun. I loved it." She meant to say enjoyed it but that isn't what came out of her mouth.
Shocked at what did come out as she blushes a bit but thank the heavens that it was getting dark. That made the blush on her hard to see.

He glanced down at her as they walked. Inside he was glad to hear directly from her that she had liked the day. He didn't seem phased that she said she had loved it. It didn't necessarily warn him to something else. It made her happy at least and it was the best he could do for not being overly.. romantic. He would have even questioned if the day could be considered such, if he thought hard on it. Had he tried to impress her? He thought on the question as they walked. It took awhile but he decided that yes in a way, he had wanted to impress her.
On the walk back they found a lake. Much like during the day, the night brought about the bright full moon which shone on the water in a shimmer. Here it wasn't so breezy and they could see a perfect reflection of the moon and some of the brighter stars. Fireflies dotted the area as they flew about. "Thirsty?" He finally spoke, while leading her to the shore of the lake. He stood close by but gave her more space so he wasn't overbearing. Tonight he could keep himself busy with the thought of watching over her. Tomorrow his mind would go back to his service. If he was needed anyway. It still wasn't widely known yet. The lack of jobs some times made him restless. A firefly took to a little dance around one of his ears though the stallion didn't notice. It lazily flew one direction then looped around the other.

In a glow herself as she watches the fireflies and then steps closer to the water's edge as she bends down. Her mouth touching the surface of the water as she drinks. The fireflies buzzing about her as she likes this. It was a nice day and now even the night well wondrous. There was nothing more wondrous in her life then this day and night with Az. She was happy that she could forget her past like it never happened. She get this feeling with him around her.
After drinking she looks up at him and smiles.

He couldn't stop himself from stealing glances at her. Not just for protection purposes. She really was a beautiful mare. He wasn't a dummy and could admit it to himself. He liked her now, something told him that while watching her. It was still unclear just how much that meant. Already she meant quite a bit to him. When she looked up and smiled at him, the smile in return wasn't strained to hide or fake. As typical, it didn't last long. "Should we.. stop here or continue to your home?"

Thinking about what he had asked as she wishes that she can grow her inner strength and be braver. "Maybe we should stay here until day break. Then we can continue to my home. If that isn't too much trouble." She wonders a bit as she watches him. She liked the fact that he was near her. So this is her way of staying with him a bit longer. Maybe it was wrong of her but she just wanted to be with him longer no matter what.
There was no need to rush things but being selfish from time to time was not a bad thing either. As long as it was being selfish all day, everyday.

He gave another, longer look around at their surroundings. It was a lovely night and he couldn't see any harm in bedding down here so she could rest. He nodded his head "It's no trouble," he replied. The firefly that had circled his ear now moved on to circle around between their legs. When he finally realized it he would bend his head down and snort hard, making the little bug fly off and circle around a tree limb beside them. Lifting his head to look at her once more, he stared for a long moment. Then without one word spoken he started to walk away from her side. Not far. He bent his head down one more time and plucked daisies up the ground. He brought over small batches at a time until he felt that he had enough. Now back beside her, he would rearrange the flowers until they made a cushy looking pillow. "For you.." he remarked in his deep voice. "Are you hungry? I can't leave you starved" Granted he just gave her a pile of flowers she could actually eat.. but he hoped she understood the gesture wasn't really meant for consumption.
Again without a word and before she could really even respond to his question, he trotted off. Further away. He could still see her as that nice golden coat made it easy. His browns on the other hand might not have been so. He searched the bushes by the water until he found one covered in blackberries. Glancing around he found a torn human basket, possibly from a nearby village they had missed. He pulled it up from the water and began carefully tearing the fruit from the bush and dropping them into the basket. From here he could smell a strong scent of mint so he followed it to the patch growing where he picked a few leaves between his teeth and dropped them in with the berries. A few bunches of sweet grass also entered the basket before he gathered it up. Unfortunately because of the way it was torn, his head tilted awkwardly to one side to keep the contents inside as he slowly made his trip back. He lowered it to the ground and rolled his head to work out the strain in his neck. "I can find more if this isn't enough."

Watching him as she smiles. Forever watching him when he is near by her. "Thank you so much. This is more then enough." She points out as she eats a few of the blackberries. They were good and she enjoyed them very much so. Looking up at him as she is a bit smaller. "You are so kind. I am glad that I was able to meet you. And I hope we are forever fated to meet. Like friends or something." She doesn't dare say lovers as she doesn't wish for things to get odd between them because then that would be the end of it. Or that is what she believes.
