Rojo went silent as he was roundhoused into the air. He landed on his back, lying there motionless for a moment before unenthusiastically throwing one of the pebbles nearby at her legs.

"You are observant and maybe not a stick." It was difficult to admit.

"What was that, Rojo?" She drew out his name on a single breath, trilling it up at the end. Hollandaise liked top make a big show of not hearing anything that she wished to hear again. And it was always kind of viscerally satisfying to have creeple not call her a stick. Or a salad. Lazily, she kicked the pebble back at him; it missed his poor bones entirely.

"Are you ready to yield?"

That pebble kind of hurt. She rubbed the spot where it hit. "You petty little pile of bones." She promptly bent over, grabbed his arm and tried to pull it off.

"Ah! Okay, yes, yes! I give up!" He grabbed at his arm and held it in place, sitting up as she pulled to prevent it from coming off again. In a world where things only ever rarely hurt... that had! He wondered why.

Rojo huffed a little at her assessment, knowing it was true. Still, he liked to win, and even though he didn't have much of a chance to beat anyone physically, the loss stung.

He tried to wave her off and push himself to his feet, looking around for his boots and hat so he wouldn't have to look at her. "You are the winner." Of a fight he hadn't even wanted. Hmph.

"Your shoe is in the bush, if that is what you are looking for," she pointed out helpfully. Winning had restored her mood just a bit, so the warder sat down on the grass and watched his bones clank around as he moved. It was unnerving. "Why do skeletons require shoes? do stones hurt your not-feet?" She cocked her head at him and began to finger comb the knots out of her hair.

"No, nevermind. I do not care. Let me know if you wish a rematch." Hollandaise, for the moment was content to not move from her spot on the ground.
