Personality ;; Kipenzi is truly a wild heart. Born in the harsh dry grasslands, she never let her hard life bring her down. She loves wide open spaces, running, and swimming. She’s extremely social, loving to meet new people and will strike up conversation with anyone who is willing to listen. She’s friendly, but a bit flighty. She’s prone to forget things easily, sometimes has a hard time keeping long-term friends because of her short attention span. She can have a fiery temper and can be snippy, but everything to her is easy to forget and forgive after she’s blown off steam (and sometimes can’t realize that other Soquili might not forgive so easily).

Kipenzi was born in the middle of the dry seasons in the hot grasslands of the Middle Country. Times were harsh, and the only food readily available were dry grasses which provided little nutrition. Despite all this, Kipenzi grew up healthy and happy. Her heard was small, but loving, and she loved how open and free it seems to be. The grasslands seemed to spread out forever like the sky itself. When she was a young filly, Kipenzi saved a young wolf pup runt that she found abandoned under some rocks. They subsequently became best friends and now Akida follows Kipenzi everywhere. When Kipenzi was a young mare, she decided to go on a trek to find the end of the grasslands, as the Elder in her heard told her they were never-ending. But lo and behold, she did, and eventually came to settle at the coast in the land of the Kiwani tribe.

Personality ;; Ah, what to say about Kintori. First off, she's extremely self-absorbed. Any time she is able to admire herself or get fawned over by others she is sure to take advantage of the opportunity. Other than that, Kintori absolutely loves those of the opposite sex. She's a bit flirtacious if the stallion is good-looking enough for her, but has good morals in the way that she believes baskets should be reserved for the one you love. Once you get past her flirtacious and supercilious exterior one is to find that she is really quite sweet and kind.

Raised by two loving parents, Kintori turned out a beautiful mare. At two years old, the misguided young girl ended up in a bind with three baskets to Helberd. Confused and panicked, she fled, leaving Helberd to care for the baskets on his own. A year and a half later, Kintori stumbled upon Soren, a handsome, selfless stallion. After spending a day with him, she decided to embark upon a journey to find Helberd and set things straight with him, seeing as he was still technically her mate. After sorting everything out, she returned to Soren, having realized she already harbored deep feelings for him. Which brings us to present-day Kintori, spending her days wandering about with her lifemate, Soren.

Since then her and Soren drifted apart. She, one day, lost him heading towards the forest that she inhabits with Kipenzi, and has not seen him since. She spent many moons searching for him, desperately trying to located where he could've gone. But finally she settled on the fact that he was gone (although she refuses to think about what could've happened). So now Kintori is wandering about aimlessly in desperate need of companionship, still feeling terrible about having abandoned her baskets at such a young age.

Eventually, she stumbled upon the herdlands of a gentleman named Skaalbjorn. He took her under his wing for some time, and there was an undoubtable connection between the two. After some time, Kintori was heartbroken to find out that he had another mare on his mind. This only furthered Kintori's bitter resentment of stallions. Will anyone ever be able to quell that? Kintori certainly thought not, so she set to wishing on the Wishing Star for a True Friend to help her through her resentment of stallion-kind. It turns out, the Wishing Star is quite the jokester - having sent her stallion Nefertem instead of anything she really asked for. But he's helping. Sort of.
