My beau did a musical that was all eighties music, so many people in double popped collars in that cast, haha~
All I know of style back then were the Greasers-- jeans and white tank tops.

Leg warmers were in style.
Loud prints and neons.
Short-ish cut jeans for men (my beau had to borrow a pair of pants from me, though to be fair they were an old pair I'd stolen from him in the first place, but considering he's a good foot taller than me, and the jeans were only a couple inches or so long on me, well, I think you get the picture).
Spandex pants (I think our girls subbed leggings) for women.
High waisted jeans with a tight fit leg (skinny jeans, basically).
And don't forget the jean jackets.
You know, pretty much modern fashion, because retro. |

All I wear are bright colors and black-- no beige or tans, rarely grays, hardly ever white. Nothing plain.

I'd wear legwarmers with skirts and leggings.
Unfortunately, I'd have to make them myself, I'm not built like a normal woman, so the ones you can buy are too small for me...
I don't like grays ('cept a dark gray shirt I got a couple Christmases ago from the beau's big sis, it says "I'm silently correcting your grammar" on it, I love it. >>; ), I look bad in tan, and I'm too much of a walking disaster for white, so I stick with dark colors.
I look terrible in spandex...
I look terrible in a lot of stuff, but let's not get into that. :'D
I can't wear most skinny jeans, my legs aren't thin enough...
Flare legs are my favorite, but they don't make them anymore, saaad.
And don't worry, I'm a nineties child that's been stuck in the eighties my whole life, you'd fit right in with me~ cat_razz |
